  Pros

  I was so impressed by Paula's Choice's legendary BHA Liquid Exfoliator that I started trying their best products one by one. This is one of the standouts I've found. It contains vitamin C (ascorbic acid), great for skin antioxidation, along with ferulic acid to stabilize the somewhat unstable vitamin C cosmetic ingredient and maximize its effects. It also includes vitamin E. At 15% vitamin C, it's quite a potent percentage. Some people with sensitive skin might experience redness or a tingling sensation, but that's a sign it's working. (Always use with sunscreen!) It's effective in eliminating dark spots, post-acne hyperpigmentation, and freckles. By the time you finish a bottle, many spots will have faded or completely cleared. I've had severe dark circles since childhood that couldn't be managed through diet or supplements, and even sunscreen didn't help. I thought they were just genetic, but after using this product daily, my dark circles disappeared. Of course, I diligently applied sunscreen every day too, but other brands' vitamin C products never gave me results like this. I've heard it's a dupe for Skinceuticals. Compared to Skinceuticals, the price point isn't bad at all.

  Cons

  The main drawback might be the price for continuous use, even though the 20ml size is understandable due to vitamin C's quick oxidation. However, compared to Skinceuticals' vitamin C product, it gives you 5ml more and is much more affordable. I buy it whenever Paula's Choice has a sale.

  Tip

  Don't stockpile it - use it right away after purchase. This product oxidizes quickly, so if you notice the color changing to a deep yellow, it's already oxidized. Use it diligently every day and always finish your morning skincare routine with sunscreen.
