It's the ultimate antioxidant combo with ascorbic acid! You know that other famous product with a similar formulation? It's 180,000 won for 30ml. Even with Paula's Choice's best 30% off sale, it's still 40,600 won for 20ml. That's why I always stock up on this one when I can. The texture is quite good for an ascorbic acid product. It's a bit less fluid, which means it absorbs quickly when applied to the face, making it slightly challenging to spread at first. This improved over time though. Maybe because Vitamin C's stability decreases, affecting its potency? Ascorbic acid products are usually quite sticky, but C15's feel is really nice. Just a slight tackiness. I have combination skin leaning towards oily, and it didn't feel heavy at all.
ConsThe reason for four stars is that I didn't see a significant brightening effect on my skin. However, Vitamin C has many benefits, and the ascorbic acid form is the most effective and well-researched. So even if the brightening effect isn't dramatic, I trust the ingredients and use it consistently. Ascorbic acid's various benefits have been proven through extensive research and trials over a long period, which is why I make sure to stock up when the price is more affordable.
TipUse it twice a day, morning and night. About 3-4 drops each time. Otherwise, it's hard to use up within 3 months. I'm currently using this with The Ordinary's antioxidant serum, and the results are amazing! My skin has noticeably brightened, and the radiant complexion lasts longer! I have combination skin leaning towards oily, which tends to look dull, but when I use these together, my skin stays bright even after pulling an all-nighter. I'll observe if The Ordinary alone can produce the same effects after I finish using C15.
