It seems to be a clear red that's close to having a pinkish undertone.
ConsIn terms of longevity, I didn't feel it was that great for a matte lipstick. After eating a bit, only the lip line remained slightly, and the rest disappeared, leaving an uneven appearance. So when I can't reapply often or when I need long-lasting wear, I don't tend to reach for this one.

This lipstick color is truly a gem though,, It's a mix of red and dark pink.
ConsI don't think there are any real downsides. The application was smooth, and it wasn't overly matte for a lipstick!

I'm not sure if there's a difference from the previous color. It's incredibly lightweight! I have the previous Sweet Pea version, and compared to that, it's like the old Zero Layer, where there's nothing on the lips at all. You can feel a slight moisturizing sensation and a soft, fluffy feel. It really is a lightweight zero velvet, just as the name suggests! The color is a true, classic red that doesn't discriminate between cool and warm tones. For my cool-toned self, there's a hint of pink in this red, but the formula is an incredible one with a blurring effect. It doesn't sit on top of the lips, but rather sinks in, making it truly the classic red as described. I don't think it will emphasize any lip tones. It's so thin that there's almost no transfer.
ConsThere's really no downside, but if I had to pick one, it would be that the packaging has been redesigned, and I'm not sure if I personally find it as pretty - but that's just my own preference.
