1. Semi-matte texture - The semi-matte texture felt very comfortable and lightweight 2. Color - The color appeared exactly as shown on the product page and looked beautiful I didn't find anything particularly negative to mention. It's simply comfortable and pretty. - mi*****Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedFeb 22, 2024
Great value for money! As someone who usually prefers matte finishes, I have to say the color is quite pretty too. While the price point is excellent and I don't have major complaints, if I had to nitpick, I'd say the staying power could be better. Also, I wish it felt a bit more hydrating when applying. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 27, 2023
The color is nice, a classic red feel... It's too intense for me to apply directly, but when I dab it on my lips about three times and blend, it creates a subtle and pretty look. Gives off a sophisticated vibe. While it's probably unavoidable for a lipstick, the staying power is quite weak. - gy*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityJun 30, 2023
The color is beautiful. It has excellent pigmentation. It suits cool skin tones perfectly. It's so intense and vibrant that it feels embarrassing to wear. It's like applying a crayon to your lips. For a less intense and more wearable red, try this technique: First, apply a color lip balm. Then, blot your lips with a tissue. Finally, use a lip brush to apply Red Carpet. This method creates a softer, more subtle red look. - id*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 8, 2023
It's matte with such beautiful color payoff. This is exactly what I've been looking for! There's not really anything disappointing about it. I can hardly find any drawbacks. Maybe just the price? - da*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 8, 2023
I don't usually write reviews for products not bought on Hwahae, but I rushed to review this one because I absolutely love the color. While I'm not 100% certain, my personal color analysis using Jam Face showed a deep undertone. The lipstick has no scent, and the taste isn't strange either. I applied 2-3 layers. Though I've only used it briefly and can't speak to its longevity, I noticed some color remained even after eating, so you might want to use a lip remover for thorough cleansing. I applied it as a full lip color. The first photo shows it freshly applied, and the second is after blotting twice with a tissue. The color doesn't seem to fade much! The color is a bit more intense than I expected. However, adjusting the intensity is pretty standard for any lipstick, so it's not particularly inconvenient. I recommend blotting once or twice. This helps prevent lip marks on cups and gives a beautiful, subtle color payoff. - ys*****Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 26, 2023
I recommend this regardless of whether you have cool or warm undertones. It's definitely less creamy than lighter shades like shell nude, giving it a somewhat matte finish. It's slightly darker than the standard shade, so if you apply a bit too much, it can look quite intense. I considered buying Red Heat instead, but that one leans a bit warm. This one is the coolest of the cool, while Red Heat is just a tad warm. - ki*******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 19, 2023
1. Pigmentation Great color payoff and beautiful shade 2. The epitome of a cool-toned red But I wear what I want (deep undertone, suspected cool-toned) 1. Emphasizes dead skin cells All Rom&nd Zero Matte lipsticks seem to severely accentuate flaky skin 2. Flimsy packaging Perhaps because it's the old case design before the repackaging (gray), the lipstick twisting mechanism is all scratched up + Looks blotchy 3. Longevity Gone after one sip of water. Transfers immediately 4. Doesn't suit me.. Looks pretty if you apply a base lipstick and smudge from the inner lips outward - ln******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 22, 2022
Romand's biggest strength is undoubtedly their beautiful color cosmetics. The shades are naturally gorgeous, and the application is quite nice. However, it tends to emphasize dead skin cells and doesn't apply smoothly when there's flakiness. For best results, apply a thin layer of lip balm first, then gently pat on the product while tapping it into your lips. - rn********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 21, 2022
This is a product I'd recommend to anyone who loves red shades. I've tried several reds from Rom&nd, but this color is the prettiest, with great pigmentation and a smooth application. Despite being matte, I was worried it might cause dryness or flaking, but it doesn't at all, which is why I use it so often. (In the photo, I've applied two layers. It doesn't come out that intense with just one application.) I have no complaints as both the application and color payoff are excellent.
