  It's quite gentle, it seems It helped heal my atopic dermatitis The doctor told me to only use Dove Sensitive Bar and Zero-Aid Lotion, and I did just that. The inflammation definitely subsided in a week. Of course, I was taking antibiotics for a week, but I think the soap and lotion really helped a lot too. I'm also using it as a body wash and it's so moisturizing and great. My skin has become so soft. I plan to continue using Dove for my body wash from now on. But as a shampoo substitute for my oily scalp, it's not recommended - it gets greasy in half a day.
