I'm currently on my fifth bottle of this product. It's gentle and keeps my skin hydrated, which I really appreciate. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. It's also effective at soothing blemishes, which is great. - lo*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedMay 1, 2025
This is truly my holy grail... It's absolutely amazing! First off, the pads are incredibly soft and soaked in a rich, hydrating essence. When you take one out, apply it to your skin, and then wipe it off, it leaves a cooling sensation that really calms your skin. It's not harsh or irritating like some peeling products, so it's perfect for daily use. It's especially effective on blemishes or troubled areas - just place it on like a mini mask and it soothes the skin while reducing redness! My skin used to be in really bad shape, but since I started using this, it's improved so much that people keep asking me what I'm using. There's honestly nothing to complain about. This product is genuinely my holy grail for skincare. - zh********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesRednessMar 24, 2025
I've been using this since the initial collaboration with YouTuber Jella, and I thought the ingredients were good. After seeing Jella's review, I bought a lot thinking it would be excellent for acne and soothing, but it didn't suit me as well as I expected. Although it was advertised as gentle enough for sensitive skin, it didn't seem to agree with my skin, so I don't leave it on for long. The pads are oval-shaped and can be stretched without tearing or becoming thin, and they're quite uniform. They're good for applying to the forehead and cheeks, but a bit awkward for the nose and chin areas. If left on for too long, it felt a bit itchy and slightly tingling. After using it for several days in a row, I got a few blemishes. Now I only use it on my face for quick cleansing, and I use it on my body regularly. If you have sensitive skin, I recommend trying a small pack of similar products from Daiso first. The houttuynia cordata scent might be quite polarizing - as someone sensitive to fragrances, it has a slight earthy, grassy smell that's not particularly pleasant. While the pads themselves seem gentle and not irritating, I wouldn't recommend them for super sensitive skin! The scent is divisive, and as I have sensitive skin, leaving it on my face made it itchy and tingly, occasionally causing blemishes to appear It's good for use on wider areas like cheeks or forehead, and you can stretch the pads for better coverage - ol********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 7, 2025
I have sensitive combination skin prone to redness, but when I applied one pad to each cheek, it reduced the redness and left my skin moisturized, making my makeup go on smoothly. The pads tended to fall off due to lack of toner. I ended up buying a separate toner to soak them in. - am*******Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 26, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The difference in my skin texture on days when I use this exfoliating toner pad versus days when I just use a mist-type toner is... absolutely incredible! It's not just great for removing dead skin cells, but it also seems to really help calm blemishes! If I gently exfoliate with this toner and then apply serum and cream... my skin is in top condition the next day. I hope you all find your skin savior too! It can sting a bit when it touches active blemishes. While the irritation isn't severe, there's a slight tingling sensation, possibly due to the alcohol content. You don't need to rub too hard - even gentle exfoliation is enough to remove dead skin cells effectively! Just lightly sweep the pad across your skin for exfoliation. - tn********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedDec 13, 2024
It really helped calm my skin! Seems like the ingredients were just right for me. While I didn't have severe acne to begin with, so I can't say if it had an immediate effect on existing blemishes, I think it did help prevent new ones from forming. It's incredibly hydrating and lovely. There's plenty of essence too, so it stays moisturizing right up to the last sheet. The hydration level of the final mask is identical to the first one! I feel like toner pads will inevitably cause some skin irritation. That's why I always focus on absorption-type toners. Many people use exfoliating toners to remove dead skin cells, which can be good for small blemishes or other skin issues. However, I think it's not good to irritate your skin like that every day. I'd recommend using absorption toners as your base, like a back-of-the-pack approach, and maybe use an exfoliating toner just once a week or so? Just occasionally would be best. I used to always use an exfoliating toner on days I wore makeup, even after double cleansing, because I felt like there might still be some cosmetics left. But I noticed my skin became more sensitive when I used an exfoliating toner after already cleansing thoroughly. I hope this advice helps many people - I really recommend focusing on absorption toners as much as possible. In winter, if you place it near the window, it gets cold - like putting it in the fridge! In summer, even if you just leave it by a window that doesn't get much sun, or pull down the blinds, it stays pretty cool. This might just prove how effective the cooling properties of this product are! - wj********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessDec 1, 2024
There's a slight stickiness, but not enough to be bothersome, and it's great for managing dead skin cells! I'm not sure about its effectiveness on blemishes, but when you leave the pad on, it definitely provides hydration. It's also good for exfoliating arms and legs. The pads are small, so you'll need to use multiple if you want to use them as a mask. The pads separating is inconvenient.. The thin pads dry out quickly when used as a mask, making them less effective.. - ki***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsJul 1, 2024
The small pads were really helpful in removing dead skin cells and excess oil. I noticed a reduction in my blemishes. There's not enough toner on the pads. While they're good at removing dead skin cells and excess oil, for some reason I noticed blackheads appearing right after using them. - bb*****Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 17, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I took these pads on a trip, and despite some leaking in my suitcase, I was pleasantly surprised to find plenty of toner still sloshing around when I opened the container. Thanks to that, I was able to use them throughout my vacation! - No irritation! I've had experiences where toner pads caused burning or tingling sensations, so I was a bit worried. However, these pads are gentle and non-irritating. I'm prone to blemishes, but using these didn't seem to cause any additional breakouts. - Great for hydration! After cleansing, I leave a pad on my face for about 5 minutes while I dry my hair, and it doesn't dry out even after I'm done. I've been disappointed by quickly drying pads before, so this aspect really impressed me. It also seems to help my makeup apply smoothly without pilling. - The quantity is limited! With 60 pads, using 3 pads a day (morning and night) only lasts 10 days... It would be great if we could split each pad in half. The pads are quite thick, but when I tried to separate them, only a thin layer came off and they wouldn't split properly. Pads that could be easily torn in half would be more economical. - An built-in tweezer would be a nice addition! Many products nowadays come with tweezers attached to the lid, but this one doesn't have that feature. It's not just about hygiene - towards the end of the container, it becomes difficult to pick up individual pads with your fingers as they're so deep inside. - cj********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 14, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

For my combination dehydrated and sensitive skin, I was surprised that an acne-specific product didn't have an alcohol scent and contained moisturizing ingredients. I was skeptical about its effectiveness on blemishes and blackheads, but I noticed improvements in dead skin cell removal and blackhead reduction. The hydrating components made it suitable for my sensitive skin, which was great! However, I didn't see any effect on redness. Using it before makeup or as a pre-cream step on makeup days allowed for a smooth, even application. The product lives up to its claim of being suitable for all skin types without causing irritation. My brother's skin was quite troubled, with severe blackheads, whiteheads, and acne scars. After use, his prominent acne scars and whiteheads significantly calmed down! While he didn't notice it himself, my keen eye observed that although pore size didn't change dramatically, blackheads gradually diminished! We definitely felt the effects on pores, blackheads, blemishes, and pre-makeup dead skin cell care. However, the essence quantity seemed too little compared to the toner pad thickness, which could potentially irritate sensitive skin. (Those with redness should be cautious with frequent exfoliating toner use - minimizing irritation is key!) Based on our experience with two different skin types, this product seems most suitable for combination skin, those with excess oil production, or those dealing with blackheads and blemishes! While I'd recommend it for combination dehydrated skin too, those with sensitive skin (especially prone to redness) should patch test before purchasing, as it's not entirely free from irritation. While regular use shows definite improvements for blemishes, dead skin cell removal, and blackheads, the essence quantity is too little compared to the pad thickness. This could make it irritating despite good ingredients. After one use, my sensitive skin required me to split the exfoliating toner pad in half. Using just half leaves no essence... It had no effect on redness - aloe is more effective for that! For those with sensitive skin or redness, use half a pad at a time for gentle exfoliating toner care, and limit use to once or twice a week. Otherwise, you risk damaging your skin barrier and causing more irritation. Follow up with aloe or a soothing moisturizer for better makeup application. Regular skin types can likely use it daily without issues - it's neither drying nor overly oily! If only there was more essence, it would be perfect!
