There's a subtle, delightful mango fragrance.
ConsThe ingredients... I deliberately choose shampoos and conditioners with fewer harmful substances, but with this cream, it feels like I'm undoing all that effort! Also, when used alone, it doesn't last long and doesn't provide much nourishment.
TipI have some unused 100% argan oil at home, so I mix in two drops of that. On its own, this cream doesn't last very long.

Let me share my thoughts in order of what I liked best. Texture: My hair is extremely dry and severely damaged from regular coloring. I usually prefer cream types over essence types, and this product was exactly the creamy texture I love (it helps tame my hair a bit). Packaging: The tube type is more hygienic than a pot! Also, the opening isn't too small or too large, making it easy to control the amount. Scent: If you're a fan of mango, you'll enjoy applying this! However, it might be a love-it-or-hate-it situation. It's not exactly a fresh mango scent. Application: Although it's a cream type, the Mango Cream Essence isn't heavy at all. In fact, it feels lighter on my hair than one of my favorite hair essences, Aveda's Damage Remedy. You could say it absorbs well. I also use a product from Lush called R&B, which is similar to the Mango Cream Essence in that it's yellow and creamy, but the Lush one is really heavy... The Mango Cream Essence works great when the Lush product feels too heavy. Another plus is that it doesn't leave much residue on your hands after application.
ConsOf course, there are some aspects I found disappointing or that could use improvement. Application: I'm not sure how much to apply for my hair type. I tried using less some days and more on others, but I still can't figure it out. Maybe because my hair is so dry, but even though it's a cream type essence, I didn't feel like it provided enough nourishment. Ingredients: Honestly, I don't usually scrutinize ingredients if a product works well for me. However, for those who prioritize ingredients, this might be disappointing.
TipI believe it's best to use any hair essence after towel-drying, but if you feel like you need extra nourishment, try applying it after only drying the roots!

I received the product the very next day after it was sent and started using it right away! I thoroughly tested it for a full two weeks. I'm the type who washes my hair in the evening before bed. Usually, when I wash my hair at night, dry it, and apply oil before sleeping, my hair feels a bit greasy and flat the next day. However, with Klorane's Mango Cream Essence, there's absolutely no greasy feeling! And the scent when applying is truly... amazing. It's like aromatherapy at its finest! While the fragrance doesn't last until the next day, there's a subtle scent left on the towel I lay on my pillow. After dyeing my hair a dark color, it became really damaged, making it difficult to brush. But after using this product, my hair feels silky smooth!
ConsWhile I really liked it, my sister said the scent was too strong... She's someone who doesn't usually like sweet fragrances! Also, since it's an essence, it doesn't seem to provide as much hydration and nourishment as an oil or cream would. That's a bit disappointing...
TipHere's how I used it! Before drying my hair, I applied a little oil, then half-dried it. After that, I gently applied the essence all over my hair, except close to the scalp, and then dried it completely. I applied a bit more to the ends of my hair! On weekends, I did a hair mask by applying plenty of essence plus about 10 drops of oil for 20 minutes. It made my hair incredibly soft and bouncy!

(For context, I have shoulder-length hair that's dry and lacks shine. I recently cut off all my damaged, color-treated hair, so while the overall damage isn't too high, I do have some everyday wear from blow-drying and heat styling. I usually prefer heavier essence formulas. Keep in mind this review might be subjective based on my hair type!) Three things I loved: 1. Lightweight formula - It doesn't clump or get sticky. The texture is so light you can apply it from roots to ends without weighing your hair down. Plus, it doesn't leave a sticky residue on your hands after application. 2. Quick-fading scent - It has a sweet and tangy fragrance that might seem a bit childish. I was worried it would linger, but it actually fades away pretty quickly, which I appreciated. 3. Tube packaging - I'm a fan of tube or airless pump packaging for any product, as it's easy to use and helps you get every last drop. This one definitely gets points for that!
ConsThree things that could be improved: 1. Limited effectiveness - While the light texture is great for on-the-go touch-ups, it doesn't feel nourishing enough for post-shower treatment. My hair is fine and tends to be dry, but I couldn't tell the difference between using this product and not using anything at all when blow-drying. I didn't experience any of the promised hydration, shine, or detangling benefits. 2. Artificial fragrance - Given that 'mango' is in the product name, I was disappointed by how synthetic the scent was upon opening. It smells like artificial candy flavoring. No surprise, as I noticed mango butter makes up only 1% of the ingredients. 3. Value for money - I feel the product's performance doesn't justify its price point. You might be better off spending a bit more on a well-known brand. To be honest, my main thought while using this was, 'I wouldn't buy this with my own money.' I think I had high expectations after hearing about its popularity in Europe. Of course, everyone's experience can differ, so please take my review as just one perspective!

The unique chiffon-like texture and how well it absorbs are perfect. It's an excellent product for those with healthy hair who want to apply something light.
ConsI'm not sure if it's because I'm picky about scents, but it had that heavy, dull fruity fragrance often found in H*** body emulsions. It's far from a sweet and tangy scent. Unlike other products I've used, the hydration or nourishment seems to evaporate quickly. It feels like it just fills your hair with moisture for a short time and then disappears.
TipOh, it's not great for permed hair either. It actually made my curls fall flat. However, since it's a product full of hydration, I think it would work well if you apply it broadly as a first step, then follow up with an oil or curling essence on the ends of your hair as a second step.
