They explained that serum-like essences tend to evaporate quickly for hair types like mine. I must say, it definitely leaves my hair feeling more moisturized.
ConsWhile I found it fine, those who dislike mango scents might have mixed feelings about this product.
TipFor my severely damaged hair, I apply a serum before drying. Then, if my hair feels a bit frizzy after drying, I use this product to smooth it out.

I love that I can apply it to dry hair, making it easy to manage and reapply throughout the day. The mango scent is pleasant without being overpowering!
ConsI'm so satisfied with this product that I've repurchased it! I can't really think of any downsides. Maybe the price is a bit on the higher side...?

I was about to use Silk Therapy, but on a friend's recommendation, I tried the Mango Cream instead. It's so soft and lovely! When I apply it to damp hair and then blow-dry while brushing, my tangled locks become smooth and easy to comb through in one go. I love the subtle mango scent too. Among the many products I've tried for my permed hair, this definitely ranks in the top 3. I'm already on my third bottle!
ConsThe quantity is a bit small, and it's not easy to find places to purchase it. It's often out of stock in stores, so you usually have to check at least two different locations. I wish they would increase the amount in each bottle.

While I usually just use shampoo and my frizzy hair starts to appear, this product has a magical effect of taming my unruly locks! My hair stayed well-behaved all day long, so much so that people around me thought I'd had it straightened professionally! I also loved that it prevented static electricity in my hair. The cream's texture reminds me of L'Occitane hand cream. It has a very subtle, delightful mango scent. After applying, my hands feel softer too! Plus, I really appreciate that it's silicone-free and paraben-free.
ConsAt first, I didn't know and applied way too much, which made my hair a total mess. It's best to use small amounts. Other than that, I can't think of any downsides.
TipYou don't need to apply too much. A small amount about the size of your pinky nail is enough to cover your whole head! This is based on shoulder-length hair.

I'm a bit late in posting (so sorry!) due to some unexpected work. First off, my hair reaches my waist, is very curly, thick, and severely damaged from coloring, bleaching, and straightening treatments. It's also quite dry. The first time I used this, I was shocked at how calm my hair became. Usually, when I dry my curly hair, it gets super frizzy, but after applying this, it was surprisingly tame! The scent has a subtle mango fragrance, and it left my hair feeling moisturized. I used it exclusively for a whole week, setting aside my usual products. Some people mentioned their hair getting greasy, but remember - if you use too much of any hair product, it's bound to make your hair greasy. The key is to use a moderate amount and keep running your fingers through your hair to help it absorb the product better.
ConsThe disappointing aspect was... the fragrance doesn't last long at all. Even though I have very long hair and applied it generously all over, the scent disappeared quickly. Also, the texture feels a bit odd when applying - it's creamy but feels like a cream+water mix, which is a bit strange. Lastly, the amount of product is way too small...

Let me share my thoughts in order of what I liked best. Texture: My hair is extremely dry and severely damaged from regular coloring. I usually prefer cream types over essence types, and this product was exactly the creamy texture I love (it helps tame my hair a bit). Packaging: The tube type is more hygienic than a pot! Also, the opening isn't too small or too large, making it easy to control the amount. Scent: If you're a fan of mango, you'll enjoy applying this! However, it might be a love-it-or-hate-it situation. It's not exactly a fresh mango scent. Application: Although it's a cream type, the Mango Cream Essence isn't heavy at all. In fact, it feels lighter on my hair than one of my favorite hair essences, Aveda's Damage Remedy. You could say it absorbs well. I also use a product from Lush called R&B, which is similar to the Mango Cream Essence in that it's yellow and creamy, but the Lush one is really heavy... The Mango Cream Essence works great when the Lush product feels too heavy. Another plus is that it doesn't leave much residue on your hands after application.
ConsOf course, there are some aspects I found disappointing or that could use improvement. Application: I'm not sure how much to apply for my hair type. I tried using less some days and more on others, but I still can't figure it out. Maybe because my hair is so dry, but even though it's a cream type essence, I didn't feel like it provided enough nourishment. Ingredients: Honestly, I don't usually scrutinize ingredients if a product works well for me. However, for those who prioritize ingredients, this might be disappointing.
TipI believe it's best to use any hair essence after towel-drying, but if you feel like you need extra nourishment, try applying it after only drying the roots!

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsHere's my review as one of The Hwahae Testers: I used this product for about 12 days to really understand its effects! I have straight, colored, and permed damaged hair, while my mom has curly, permed, and heat-damaged hair. According to the instructions, you can use it after shampooing on damp hair or on dry hair after blow-drying. So, I tried it on dry hair for the first 6 days, then on damp hair followed by blow-drying for the next 6 days. First, when used on dry hair, it didn't feel sticky like an emulsion or heavy like an oil. The fragrance was also lovely - mom and I both agreed it smelled great. It felt slightly oily to the touch, but once applied to the hair, it seemed to absorb quickly. Unlike oils, it didn't leave residue on my hands, so I didn't need to wash them after. My hands felt soft, like I'd applied hand cream. Next, when used on damp hair, it felt more like it created a coating rather than being absorbed. Perhaps due to the moisture, it felt like it sat on top of the hair, and more product remained on my hands compared to using it on dry hair. It seemed to take a bit longer to dry, but the effects appeared better when used on damp hair versus dry hair.
ConsOverall, it has a nice scent and applies lightly and refreshingly, not heavily or oily. However, whether used on dry or damp hair, I didn't notice significant improvements in hair texture or damage repair after drying and touching. Despite feeling moisturized, the hair felt stiff rather than soft to the touch. As you can see in the photo on my hand, it's quite oily and runny, melting like butter. When used on damp hair, I didn't notice any clumping, but on dry hair, it felt like it made the hair stick together a bit. Also, as others have mentioned, the ingredients aren't particularly great. Many facial blemishes can be caused by hair products, so using products with poor ingredients on your hair could potentially cause blemishes on areas that frequently come into contact with your hair, like your face, back, and neck. While I appreciate how lightly it applies, those who prefer to use a lot of product might find the quantity insufficient. I don't expect hair essences to repair damaged hair, but rather to protect it from further damage,
Tipso I didn't have high expectations for its effects. It seemed like a pretty average essence. My hair is fine and tends to tangle easily, so I had some hopes for this essence, but unfortunately, it still tangles easily. Therefore, I don't plan to repurchase it. As a tip, I found that applying it to damp hair after removing excess water with a towel, then drying and reapplying a small amount worked best for me. I'd like to thank the Hwahae app team for providing this product for review. I hope my humble review can be helpful to others! For those with super sensitive skin, be cautious of potential allergic reactions or irritation. Always patch test new products before full application.

I always have hair masks on hand, but I usually avoid sticky, oily essences and prefer hydrating ones. Still, I couldn't prevent tangles until now. After using this, my hair feels so soft and doesn't tangle at all - I love it! The scent is sweet too. It's labeled for dry, damaged hair, and it really lives up to that claim. My hair feels softer, and I've never regretted using it.
ConsWell... I tried applying it before drying my hair and also the next day after it was completely dry. But if you follow the instructions exactly, your hair might end up looking greasy. I'd recommend applying it before drying your hair. I think this feeling comes from the product being very nourishing.
TipThere's no special method, really. When your hair is still somewhat damp before drying, apply the product as if you're helping it absorb with your body heat. Then blow-dry and style as desired. Just drying is enough to make your hair soft and tangle-free.

The texture was lighter. I liked that I could apply it generously without it feeling heavy or greasy. And the scent!!! It smells like real mango!!! As someone who loves mango scent, I really enjoyed the authentic, non-artificial fragrance. I usually rub it between my hands and apply it evenly, and afterwards my hands feel soft too. The mango scent lingers on my hands, which I love. I found it works much better when applied to dry hair as instructed... It makes my hair light and bouncy. Best of all, my hair stays bouncy until evening, but it feels less sticky compared to when I used oil essences!! I love how it keeps my hair soft for a long time without getting greasy.
ConsMaybe because I haven't used it for long, or perhaps due to its light texture, it doesn't instantly soften and detangle hair like oils do... Just expect it to make your hair light and bouncy. Still, it's nice that the effect lasts long..! Also, while I liked it, my friend who dislikes mango scent really hated the fragrance.. This product is definitely for mango lovers! Haha
TipIt works better when applied generously after your hair is completely dry, making it bouncy and soft. The fragrance lingers on your hands too... Haha

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsThe Hwahae Testers I was lucky enough to win this product in an event, so I'll give you my honest review! (For context, I have shoulder-length hair that's dry and lacks shine. I recently cut off all my damaged, color-treated hair, so while the overall damage isn't too high, I do have some everyday wear from blow-drying and heat styling. I usually prefer heavier essence formulas. Keep in mind this review might be subjective based on my hair type!) Three things I loved: 1. Lightweight formula - It doesn't clump or get sticky. The texture is so light you can apply it from roots to ends without weighing your hair down. Plus, it doesn't leave a sticky residue on your hands after application. 2. Quick-fading scent - It has a sweet and tangy fragrance that might seem a bit childish. I was worried it would linger, but it actually fades away pretty quickly, which I appreciated. 3. Tube packaging - I'm a fan of tube or airless pump packaging for any product, as it's easy to use and helps you get every last drop. This one definitely gets points for that!
ConsThree things that could be improved: 1. Limited effectiveness - While the light texture is great for on-the-go touch-ups, it doesn't feel nourishing enough for post-shower treatment. My hair is fine and tends to be dry, but I couldn't tell the difference between using this product and not using anything at all when blow-drying. I didn't experience any of the promised hydration, shine, or detangling benefits. 2. Artificial fragrance - Given that 'mango' is in the product name, I was disappointed by how synthetic the scent was upon opening. It smells like artificial candy flavoring. No surprise, as I noticed mango butter makes up only 1% of the ingredients. 3. Value for money - I feel the product's performance doesn't justify its price point. You might be better off spending a bit more on a well-known brand. To be honest, my main thought while using this was, 'I wouldn't buy this with my own money.' I think I had high expectations after hearing about its popularity in Europe. Of course, everyone's experience can differ, so please take my review as just one perspective!
