  1. The initial strong mango scent when applied instantly lifts my mood. 2. It feels like it's adding hydration to my hair. Compared to when I don't use it, my hair feels more bouncy and flowing.

  Cons

  1. The fragrance fades away too quickly. 2. If I were to compare hair to skin, it's like applying an emulsion without following up with an oil, so the moisture seems to evaporate.

  Tip

  It's certainly better than not using anything at all, but I think it would work even better if applied after using a treatment product.

  I was browsing hair essences at Olive Young when the staff recommended this product for my dry, damaged hair. They explained that serum-like essences tend to evaporate quickly for hair types like mine. I must say, it definitely leaves my hair feeling more moisturized.

  While I found it fine, those who dislike mango scents might have mixed feelings about this product.

  Tip

  For my severely damaged hair, I apply a serum before drying. Then, if my hair feels a bit frizzy after drying, I use this product to smooth it out.

  Pros

  My hair tends to be dry from frequent coloring and perms, but this product instantly feels like it's replenishing moisture. I love that I can apply it to dry hair, making it easy to manage and reapply throughout the day. The mango scent is pleasant without being overpowering!

  Cons

  Pros

  This is the best hair cream I've ever used! It's silicone-free, which is reassuring, and I feel like it's actually making my hair more lustrous. While it's not overly hydrating, it applies smoothly without making my hair greasy.

  Cons

  The price is a bit of an issue... It's rarely on sale at Olive Young, and even when it is, it's still expensive. Also, while the scent is nice, it disappears almost immediately after application. I wish the fragrance would last longer. Update: I've been experimenting to figure out what's been causing issues with my skin, and I think this product might be the culprit. Especially behind my ears, it's constantly itchy and red, and this only happens on days I use this product. I thought it being silicone-free was a good thing, but I should have checked the ingredients on Hwahae first. Not only does the fragrance fade quickly, but why did they add so many fragrances in the first place?

  ★ Review from The Hwahae Testers ★ First off, I absolutely loved the texture. It's a thin cream formula, which makes it feel hydrating without being sticky, even when it gets on your hands. The scent was also quite pleasant! However, it does fade quickly, so if you're not a fan, you can still use it comfortably after a short wait. With consistent use morning and night, you'll definitely notice how it keeps your skin feeling moisturized!

  While it's hydrating and less greasy than oil-based products, I found myself using it up rather quickly. Before getting this product, I had my long hair cut to shoulder length, but I'm still using two 500-won coin sized amounts each time. I do have thick hair, and the last 5 cm or so is quite damaged... Those with longer hair will probably go through this even faster. The value for money seems a bit low. Also, don't expect any dramatic results in a short time.

As someone with dry skin who generally dislikes sticky products, I prefer hair products that provide hydration. This essence is perfect for that! After using it for nearly two weeks, I noticed a dramatic difference in my hair texture on days when I used the essence versus days when I didn't. On days I applied it, my hair remained soft until I got home. I found myself touching my hair and thinking, 'Wow, it's so soft!' On days I didn't use it, the difference was quite noticeable. Unlike other hair products that leave a sticky residue on your hands, this essence doesn't leave any stickiness at all. It keeps your hair soft all day long. The Mango Butter Nutrition Leave-in Cream lives up to its name! It feels like you're applying mango butter to your hair, nourishing it deeply. My hair stays soft throughout the day, and I find myself unconsciously running my fingers through it! From its sweet and tangy scent to how it absorbs well and leaves your hair incredibly soft - I'm so grateful for this essence!

  I don't have any particular complaints. My hair was very dry and brittle, but after applying this, it stayed soft all day. It was hard to find any shortcomings! If I had to mention something, I wouldn't strongly recommend it to those who dislike very sweet scents. The fragrance is quite sweet and strong!

  Tip

  It's good to apply it to completely dry hair, but for best results, apply it when your hair is almost dry but still slightly damp. Rub it between your hands and apply it to the ends of your hair when it's nearly dry, with just a bit of moisture left. This seems to keep your hair soft for longer throughout the day. This advice comes from my experience of using it on both completely dry hair and slightly damp hair.

  My dry and brittle hair feels so moisturized now! I was using another brand before, but I didn't really feel like my hair was getting more hydrated or softer. This product is different though! I've been using about a 50-cent coin sized amount for about two weeks, and it's amazing... truly! My hair has become softer, and it feels like it's full of hydration! It's fantastic! I'm also satisfied that the scent isn't overpowering. I don't prefer products with strong fragrances because they give me headaches. But this one doesn't have an intense smell and still works great as a hair essence. What I love is that it's not sticky. Sometimes hair essences can be a bit tacky, causing hair to tangle, and leaving a residue on your hands after application. This product doesn't have any of those issues! It seems like all of the product I squeeze out gets absorbed into my hair.

  This is just my personal experience, but it seems to make my hair get oily more quickly? It might just be me though.

  Tip

  For even softer hair, try towel-drying your hair, applying the essence, and then blow-drying!

Boyfriend's experience (scalp type unknown, thick normal hair, no tangles, usually uses coconut oil and Tony Moly HD Hair Emulsion): He liked that the scent wasn't artificially sweet, but rather a subtle, pleasant sweetness that wasn't overpowering. Friend's experience (sensitive oily scalp, damaged hair, severe tangles, usually only uses Botamian Angel Moringa Treatment): It has a delicious scent. Hair feels instantly smooth and soft after application. The day after using this product, she noticed her hair felt softer when washing.
