  I use this as a lip balm substitute. It's moisturizing and finishes without any stickiness.

  Pros

  I love how moisturizing and easy to apply this is. When I try to put other emulsions or soothing gels on my baby's drool rash, they cry like it's the end of the world. But with this product, they stay calm without any fuss. The sweet scent seems to make them like it even more.

  Cons

  It breaks easily. I bought four of them, and all four broke while I was using them. I'm not sure if it's particularly effective for drool rash.

  This is a winter essential in our household! My elementary school daughter uses it. After applying her face cream, she adds this on top for extra hydration. It's great for on-the-go use. Not just for the face, it's perfect for dry lips too. We've been using it without any blemishes or notable side effects. I personally love its baby powder-like scent!

  Cons

  I tend to buy this when it's on sale. The regular price seems a bit steep for the amount you get. We go through about two of these throughout the winter season.

  Pros

  I was already familiar with Mustela's emulsion and knew it was a moisturizing product with great hydration. This Nourishing Stick with Cold Cream is so convenient to carry around and really impressive. My daughter sometimes gets little bumps around her mouth and chin, and I think it'll be great to apply this frequently both when we're out and at home.

  Cons

  So far, I haven't found anything to be disappointed about.

  My child's skin was generally dry, and while I often moisturized at home, it was challenging when we went out. This stick is great because it's portable and convenient to use anytime, anywhere. It's so easy to apply whether we're at home or out, and even in the middle of the night. The skin feels wonderfully hydrated as a result.

  Cons

  I'm on my third one now, and while I don't have any other complaints, it's a bit frustrating that you need to dig out the remaining product at the bottom with a cotton swab when it's almost finished. Other than that minor inconvenience, it's pretty good.

  I found it convenient that when applying to my face, it doesn't stick to my hands while providing easy moisturizing care. Not only for the face, but when applied to the lips as well, the hydration lasts for a long time. For other areas needing moisture like elbows, it seems good to use something like a spatula to scoop out a bit and apply with hands. Since it's meant for direct facial application, I tend to use it sparingly when applying to other areas!

  Cons

  There's a slight stickiness, so I recommend applying it at night. It's a shame that spices, which are cautionary ingredients, are included - it seems they could have been left out. For babies, an unscented version would be better. Also, while the amount is quite small, fortunately it doesn't get used up too quickly with each application.

  Tip

  When applied to areas with raised dead skin cells, it immediately calms them down. Also, when applied along the natural direction of the eyebrows on a bare face, it makes the eyebrows look more defined and darker.

  I apply the Mustela Cold Cream Stick to areas prone to dryness, and swipe it over my lips and eye area when touching up my makeup or before bed if my skin feels a bit parched after applying my skincare routine. As someone with dry skin, I don't find it greasy at all - just wonderfully hydrating! It's such a gentle product that even babies can use it, making it great for the whole family. I'd recommend it for oily skin types in winter, but for those with dry skin, it's perfect year-round!

  I wish they'd come out with a sunscreen stick version! If this level of hydration came with sun protection, it would definitely be a permanent fixture in my makeup bag!

  Pro tip: Apply it before shimmer eyeshadow to make the glitter particles adhere beautifully. For touch-ups, just wipe off your existing makeup, swipe this on, then pat some cushion foundation over it - and you're done!
