It applies smoothly with a matte finish on combination dehydrated skin. As expected from a brand famous for cushions, the color is beautiful and it performs decently overall. It applies a bit thick and tends to break down messily on combination dehydrated skin, making it difficult to use during summer. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJun 27, 2024
- It has a semi-matte finish that's just right, leaving a soft, luminous glow - The color is really appealing, not too pink or yellow - Clio's strength seems to be in its natural-looking shades - It's not incredibly impressive, but not disappointing either - just an average cushion foundation - While it's decent, it's not good enough to become a staple, so I'll probably try a different cushion next time - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 17, 2024
This cushion has a slightly matte formula with excellent coverage. It adheres well to the skin, making application easy and comfortable. The longevity is impressive, and it doesn't wear off easily. The design is sleek and satisfying overall. It might be a bit challenging to use for those with very dry skin. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinDec 11, 2023
I use the Kill Cover foundation too! For my combination dehydrated skin that leans more towards oily, there's no better foundation out there! Some might think it's a bit thick, but while it's matte, it's not overly so. It absorbs well and, most importantly, the staying power is really impressive!! I'm on my umpteenth bottle of this stuff..! I use foundation for my initial makeup application and only use the cushion for touch-ups. Apart from the cushion not coming with a separate refill, I don't have any other complaints! - Hwahae UserOily SkinNov 8, 2023
A little goes a long way with this product's excellent coverage. Its matte finish makes it perfect for those with oily skin. Due to its matte finish, those with dry skin might want to consider other options. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 3, 2023
It's great because it's moisturizing while also having a matte finish when applied. There's hardly any caking, and it adheres well to the skin! I didn't experience any major blemishes after using it. There's a slight darkening effect. Other than that, I don't think there are any major issues! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinOct 3, 2023
- Coverage Need I say more? Kill Cover is all about coverage - Adherence I thought the product would set quickly due to its matte finish, but surprisingly it clings to the skin beautifully! - Longevity I expected better staying power. While it's better than some other products, it still left me wanting more - Skin appearance It looks gorgeous right after application, but starts to break down as soon as I step outside No matter how thorough your skincare routine, dead skin cells can sometimes become noticeable around the nose and between the brows! Here's a tip: gently rub those areas with a cotton swab dipped in toner or serum, then reapply the cushion foundation. The result? Absolutely flawless! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 16, 2023
The matte exterior case looks luxurious and high-end. I love how well it matches my complexion. It seems the coverage isn't quite as good as before. There's also a slight issue with pore-clogging. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSep 14, 2023
✓ Radiant color / Decent coverage with a clean skin finish / Long-lasting semi-matte formula ✓ Recommended for combination and oily skin types Color - A bright and radiant shade without any yellow undertones. When applied thinly, it creates a beautiful, luminous complexion that could be described as 'milky white'. The color stays stable throughout the day with no darkening (though as oil builds up over time, the cushion may melt, revealing your natural skin tone, which might be perceived as darkening). Skin finish - With medium-high coverage, it evens out the skin tone effectively without feeling heavy. It can be applied very thinly if desired, and while it doesn't adhere like tape, its smooth application makes it easy to blend. Once set, the semi-matte formula isn't as drying as you might expect. The final look falls somewhere between glowy, velvety, and silky - best described as a silky skin finish. It also works well for touch-ups, allowing for clean and easy reapplication. Longevity - It holds up well throughout the day and breaks down cleanly. Even in midsummer, it may melt slightly over time but doesn't become patchy, cakey, or messy. I'm currently on my third purchase of this cushion, having used up both the original and a refill. While it doesn't have any extraordinary standout features, it performs above average in all aspects with great balance. These days, finding such a well-rounded cushion is becoming rare, which is why I keep coming back to this reliable and comfortable product. The color is pretty, the coverage is good, it's not heavy, and most importantly, it doesn't break down messily. Interestingly, while it slowly melts with oil, it's surprisingly resistant to sweat, maintaining a clean base even when you perspire a lot. It should hold up fairly well even if it gets wet. Touch-ups might not be as easy as with a dewy cushion, but they're still clean and doable. In fact, when friends borrow this cushion, they often ask what it is. While there are many cushions these days with distinct concepts, they often fall short in one area or another. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants 'a moderately thin layer with decent coverage, neither too glowy nor too matte, but a smoothly finished skin look'. It's perfect for those seeking a balanced approach to their base makeup. ✓ Not recommended for dry skin / Lingerie shade not suitable for redness-prone skin / Doesn't pair well with mineral sunscreens For those with dry skin or planning to use it in winter, it may start to look patchy over time. In these cases, a glowy cushion would be a more comfortable choice. And yes... I have redness-prone skin. I previously used the Linen shade but found it a bit dark for my skin tone, so I switched to Lingerie. While Lingerie matches my brightness better, it can sometimes look too pale over reddened areas. The semi-matte formula can accentuate this paleness, so if you have fair skin with strong redness like me, sticking with the Linen color might be more stable. Also, due to my sensitive, redness-prone skin, I use mineral sunscreens. While this cushion performs well on its own without caking or clumping, when applied over mineral sunscreen, it tends to settle into pores over time. The product itself is good, but it's important to consider these factors when using it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 8, 2023
As someone with dry skin, I really appreciated that it wasn't overly matte. It has more of a semi-matte finish, which is perfect. It tends to darken the skin quite noticeably. The more you apply, the more pronounced this effect becomes. You need to be careful not to overapply. Remember to take good care of your skin!
