I simply can't resist writing a review for this one. It's truly the best among cushion foundations. The coverage is absolutely phenomenal, and the included puff is just perfect. There's honestly nothing negative to say. It's such an incredibly good product that I've already repurchased and used it again. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinMar 10, 2024
As someone in their 20s with cool-toned 21 shade, combination dehydrated skin, redness, and super sensitive skin type: What I loved most was that it had the ivory tone I was hoping for, so my face didn't look yellow when applied! Also, the puff isn't round but has edges, making it great for detailed coverage around the nose, under the nose, and under the eyes without looking cakey. It felt matte but not completely dry, so it applied smoothly with hydration. The thin consistency made it easy to control the amount used. Overall, a really convenient product! While it was good at hiding redness, for a product known for its coverage, the cushion alone didn't conceal spot-like marks, so I had to use concealer as well. Although it didn't make my skin look lifted, there was some pore-clogging around the nose and forehead, which was a bit disappointing. Recommended for: - Those looking for a high-coverage product - Those who prefer matte cushions - Those with combination dehydrated or oily skin This is my personal opinion after using the product. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 27, 2024
I've been considering switching to a different cushion, but I'm applying the same criteria I used when I was obsessed with finding a new one to this product. Coverage: Medium to high. I usually use concealer for areas that need coverage and use cushions mainly for evening out my complexion. With this one, I apply it thinly, adjusting the amount, so I'm not sure about its exact coverage. However, it wasn't bad at all. It gave a nice skin finish too. Puff: Both the shape and compatibility are great. I prefer a semi-matte finish, and after applying sunscreen and cushion, which can feel a bit slippery, a few pats with this cushion puff leaves my skin feeling powdery soft. The hexagonal shape, rather than round, makes it super easy to pat under the eyes. I don't think I can go back to round puffs now! Longevity: Not bad. Only slight pilling on the nose in summer. This could be due to my oily skin type. Color: I never thought I was particularly fair-skinned (I'm not dark either. Bare face is 21 -> With makeup, maybe 19?) But when I apply this over sunscreen, it brightens my complexion naturally, and I've received many compliments on how fair my skin looks. It's not a ghostly pale, but a good kind of fair. Anyway, I love how it naturally brightens my complexion. It was decent in all aspects, so there's not much to complain about. If anything, maybe how it can look a bit messy around the pores on my nose after some time? But interestingly, it breaks down beautifully on the cheeks and cheekbones, giving a nice glow. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 15, 2024
The teardrop-shaped puff is perfect for applying product around the sides of the nose! As someone with a lot of redness on my face, even though it seemed to cover well at first, after 30 minutes to an hour, the redness started showing through again. So disappointing! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 27, 2024
It really brightens up your complexion and provides great coverage. The unique puff shape especially helps you apply makeup meticulously. Absolutely not for dry skin types, no exceptions. If you use shade 22, avoid this product. It separates and becomes extremely dry when your face heats up. For a beautiful skin finish, make sure to deeply hydrate your skin before applying and dampen the puff thoroughly. I'd recommend this for oily skin types. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 17, 2024
Kill Cover really seems to excel at coverage. I think it would be perfect for those with oily skin. Above all, the puff applies the product so smoothly - it's fantastic! For those with dry skin, it might be too drying. Unfortunately, it tends to create a bit of patchiness. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 10, 2023
I really liked how it feels moisturizing at first, then becomes pleasantly matte over time. The coverage is quite good too! It seemed to make my skin look smoother. The puff that came with it was also really nice. I have oily skin only on my nose while the rest of my face is dry. The product kept separating on my nose area, and there was some pilling. I also noticed a bit of darkening... - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSep 1, 2023
It absorbs so thinly! It's incredibly lightweight. The puff doesn't soak up too much product and applies it evenly, which is great. Despite the thin application, it covers pores quite well. The puff also has angled edges, making it easy to apply thoroughly in hard-to-reach areas. Perhaps because it applies so thinly, it doesn't last very long. After applying in the morning, it's gone within 1-2 hours on my commute... I suppose I could keep reapplying? But in the evening, it's difficult to reapply due to excess oil. It's a bit of a dilemma. The 'Lingerie' shade appears quite bright, so using it all over the face might make you look a bit washed out. I think it would work well when used together with the 'Linen' shade. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 8, 2023
I'm on my 4th container of this true holy grail product! I absolutely adore the Kill Cover series. It's impossible not to love the way this cushion applies, and the built-in puff shape is so delicate and cute. It's easy to apply and I use it regularly for my natural makeup looks. I'm not sure if I bought a shade too dark, but I'm using 19-21. It feels a bit dark for me. Because of this, I don't use it when going out and only use it for natural makeup looks. Cushion puff usage tip! Use the pointed part for narrow areas like the nose and around the eyes, and use the rounded bottom part for the forehead, cheeks, and cheekbones. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 31, 2023
The coverage is excellent and it lasts well throughout the day. The heptagonal shape of the puff is perfect for applying makeup meticulously in tricky areas like around the nose and under the eyes. I wasn't sure about my skin tone, but I thought I was on the lighter side for a guy, so I bought shade 21. Unfortunately, it was too light and had a pink undertone, which made me look sickly. I wish I had chosen a shade that matched my complexion better.
