  Pros

  I used this product when I was in high school, struggling with acne. Now I have combination skin, but back then I had oily skin! It was a gentle and refreshing product that worked well for my blemish-prone, oily skin. The biggest advantage of this product is that it's a low-irritation formula with safe ingredients you can trust! It leaves your skin feeling incredibly fresh. The hydration and cooling sensation when applying are great. It also has a pleasant, subtle berry scent and absorbs extremely quickly! Therefore, I think it's an excellent product for very oily, blemish-prone skin! My boyfriend has oily, acne-prone skin and most skincare products give him pimples, making it hard to choose basic skincare. However, this is the only product that doesn't cause that reaction, so he's been using it for over 2 years! Also, since he has oily skin and doesn't wear makeup, he finds that this product alone is enough to keep his skin from feeling dry (he says even when he applies sunscreen over it, his skin doesn't feel dry).

  Cons

  When I used this product, even though my skin was very oily, this alone wasn't enough! For those with dry to oily skin who wear makeup or use matte sunscreens, you might need to finish with an emulsion or cream after letting this absorb! Also, a downside was that when I applied makeup or a sunscreen with base coverage over this product, it would cause dead skin cells to flake off. So for my current combination skin, it's not really a necessary product (I now use a skincare routine of toner-cream or (toner)-essence-cream).

  Tip

  This seems like the perfect product to use in summer! While it doesn't offer much moisturization, it provides great hydration and a cooling effect!

  Pros

  I bought this after reading a post about someone curing their seborrheic dermatitis with it. When applying, it feels so hydrating that you get the sense your skin is going to improve.

  Cons

  While it didn't cause any burning or heating sensation, it was incredibly itchy, especially around my mouth, chin, and nose. I had a similar experience with the Real Madagascar Moisture Cream, which also made me itchy and caused small red bumps to appear. This product gave me a similar feeling.

  Pros

  It feels more like a soothing gel than a cream. You can feel the hydration when applying it, and I loved that it doesn't cause any irritation.

  Cons

  The moisturizing effect doesn't seem to be that great. I'm not sure about the whitening effect either. I'd recommend using it just as a light moisturizer.

  Pros

  I tried this product because my skin is extremely dehydrated and dry. I don't like thick, oily formulas, so I gave this a shot. First off, the hydration is really excellent. It seems to have a soothing effect when applied after popping a blemish.

  Cons

  When I first used it, my skin felt a bit tingly. It also caused some redness on my skin, similar to cholinergic urticaria, but it wasn't severe - just in one small area. It wasn't too bad, so I continued using it, and from the next day onwards, those symptoms disappeared.

  Tip

  It's great to use when it's cool, straight from the refrigerator.

  Pros

  I was smitten by the clean ingredient list with niacinamide and the enchanting purple tube, so I had to buy it! The amount is generous, and it has a refreshing fruity scent. It's as hydrating as a toner, making it easy to use, and for a gel texture, it absorbs well. It has just the right consistency to hold its shape when squeezed.

  Cons

  While I didn't experience any blemishes, when applied on areas with a lot of dead skin cells, it pills and flakes off. Also, it stung a bit when applied after exfoliating. I noticed many other reviewers mentioned a tingling sensation during initial use, even without blemishes - I guess this is what they meant. I'll update my review if I find it puts any stress on my skin with continued use.

  It's moisturizing and has a lovely scent. After applying toner, this seems to be enough. It's also free from harmful ingredients, which is great.

  Cons

  Even though the volume is generous, it feels like it runs out quickly. Still, I love Sidmool!

  I discovered Sidmool because of blemishes, and while other products didn't suit me, this one really works well for my skin.

  Pros

  I bought this to use as an essence just for my face, so I think the amount is generous and the price is reasonable. It felt very hydrating.

  Cons

  It stung a bit when I first applied it, but my face looked fine so I left it on. Later, after washing it off, my face became red. Initially, I thought it might be due to the sunscreen or cleanser I used with it, but this time I only applied this product and my face got even redder... That's when I realized this was the culprit. I fell asleep with it on, and it took about two days for my face to recover. I processed a refund. I think the high berry content was too irritating for my super sensitive skin. I have very dry skin that's prone to redness and sensitivity. I've noticed that sometimes products with too many natural ingredients don't agree with me.

  First off, I love the generous size. It's great that it provides hydration like aloe gel while also offering whitening benefits thanks to the acai berry ingredient - that's its biggest selling point. It's handy to keep one on hand as you'll find plenty of uses for it!

  The whitening effect isn't particularly strong. If your main goal is whitening, you might want to look for a different product.
