  Pros

  First, it doesn't feel oily at all, yet there's no tightness. When applied as the final step in skincare, it truly feels like a moisture barrier forms. Second, I've used it for over three years and my complexion has become clearer. It definitely has a brightening effect!

  Cons

  Personally, it suits my skin so well that I remember writing a post on the review board begging Sidmool and Dr. Min Joong-ki to never change the formula and keep making it for a long time. I do recall a slight tingling sensation when I first used it though!

  Tip

  I used this along with the Sacaro Glow Cream. It provides the oil that the gel couldn't, and I could really feel my skin texture improving!

  Pros

  It's affordable and while it doesn't dramatically whiten your skin, it does brighten your complexion. I'd say it evens out the skin tone? Anyway, it made my skin look cleaner. However, I only saw results initially, and there hasn't been much improvement since.

  Cons

  I don't mind the slight burning sensation when applying, but after some time, it started to sting - maybe because I was sweating? Regardless of sweating, I did notice a few small blemishes appearing. I had to stop using it as my skin condition worsened. It seems my skin doesn't agree with the acai ingredient.

  Tip

  I recommend using this in combination with other products rather than on its own.

  I'm supposed to write at least 20 characters about what I liked, but there's nothing. This product just doesn't suit me.

  Cons

  This product doesn't work for me at all. When I use it, my face stings, burns, and turns red. It also makes my skin feel tight and causes dead skin cells to build up.

  Pros

  I tried this product because my skin is extremely dehydrated and dry. I don't like thick, oily formulas, so I gave this a shot. First off, the hydration is really excellent. It seems to have a soothing effect when applied after popping a blemish.

  Cons

  When I first used it, my skin felt a bit tingly. It also caused some redness on my skin, similar to cholinergic urticaria, but it wasn't severe - just in one small area. It wasn't too bad, so I continued using it, and from the next day onwards, those symptoms disappeared.

  Tip

  It's great to use when it's cool, straight from the refrigerator.

  Pros

  I was smitten by the clean ingredient list with niacinamide and the enchanting purple tube, so I had to buy it! The amount is generous, and it has a refreshing fruity scent. It's as hydrating as a toner, making it easy to use, and for a gel texture, it absorbs well. It has just the right consistency to hold its shape when squeezed.

  Cons

  While I didn't experience any blemishes, when applied on areas with a lot of dead skin cells, it pills and flakes off. Also, it stung a bit when applied after exfoliating. I noticed many other reviewers mentioned a tingling sensation during initial use, even without blemishes - I guess this is what they meant. I'll update my review if I find it puts any stress on my skin with continued use.

  Pros

  Light texture, highly recommended for oily skin types! I'm using it because it's said to be good for brightening. Personally, I feel an immediate brightening effect, but I'm not sure if it's because my skin is absorbing moisture or if it's actually brighter than usual when I'm not wearing it. I think I need to use it a bit longer to know for sure. The gel-like texture makes it feel lightweight. As someone with oily skin, I used to use green tea toner + face oil (1 drop) in summer, but now I'm loving this product for its lightness. The quantity is generous, so I'm applying it liberally. It's good value for money, and I plan to repurchase when I run out. I'm not sure about the drier autumn and winter months, but for now, I'm very satisfied!

  It stings. I thought it might be because I have sensitive skin, but looking at other reviews, I see some people also mention the stinging sensation. It only stung slightly on the first day, and it was fine after that. Those with sensitive skin should consider carefully before purchasing.

  Tip

  I squeeze out about half a fingertip's worth, pat about a third of it onto my skin, then mix 1-2 drops of face oil with the rest, press it gently into my skin, and pat on the remaining amount in two parts. This method helps reduce dryness and works well. Since it's a brightening moisturizer, I make sure to apply it to my neck too. My face always looks brighter, so don't forget to apply it to your neck as well!

  It faithfully fulfills its hydration role. I even used it when I had a bad breakout, and it helped fade the blemishes and brighten my complexion.

  Cons

  Depending on your skin condition, it can sting a bit sometimes. I'm not particularly sensitive, so I just keep using it. Actually, when I have acne, applying it generously helps calm it down. It doesn't cause any redness on my face! However, since it's a hydrating gel, it can pill if you apply too much.

  When I want to give my skin a hydration boost, I keep my base skincare routine light and apply two to three layers of this before going to bed.
