My skin feels incredibly clean and comfortable after using this. Of course, there are no blemishes or irritation. It's so gentle that I feel it even helps with dead skin cells. I also love the scent - it's clean and reminds me of baby products. While it doesn't lather excessively, it's sufficient for cleansing. After rinsing, my skin feels pleasantly refreshed, though not squeaky clean. It's perfect for removing makeup when used after cleansing oil, and it's just right for morning cleansing too. There's nothing disappointing about the product itself, but the packaging isn't particularly attractive or subtle when left in the bathroom. The pink color is too bright and stands out too much. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMay 31, 2021
I really liked this product as it's easy to use on a daily basis. I'm satisfied that it doesn't cause any blemishes. The cleansing process leaves my skin feeling hydrated, which I'm very pleased with. I didn't have any particular disappointments with this product. However, it seems this version has been discontinued and an upgraded version has been released. I guess I'll have to try the new one to see how it compares! - tm********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 25, 2021
The ingredients are gentle on the skin. It's affordable - you can get it for around 7,000 won when it's on sale at Olive Young. The bottle size is generous. There's barely any scent, which is great. Even though it's low pH, it hardly lathers at all. You need to use about a coin-sized amount each time. As a result, you end up using quite a lot when removing makeup in the evening. Except for easily removable sunscreens, you'll definitely need to double cleanse. It seems more suitable as a morning cleanser rather than for removing makeup at night. For a gentle daily exfoliation, try mixing a little green tea powder with this cleansing foam. I've been doing this low-irritation daily exfoliation routine for over 10 years. Of course, I still use a gommage peeling product once every 7-10 days. This is the Amplen brand. - de******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 1, 2021
It's gentle, non-irritating, and removes makeup effectively. I've been using this exclusively, going through multiple bottles. The only downside is that it's difficult to find in physical stores. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 21, 2021
Effective for soothing the skin. Pleasant scent. I like that it doesn't produce much foam. Skin feels slightly tight, and there's a bit of tingling when you first start using it until your skin gets accustomed. Other than that, no issues. - cj************Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 24, 2021
I've settled on this product because it's so gentle. I've had several experiences where my skin reacted badly to other products, but this one causes absolutely no irritation. It's truly mild and doesn't trigger any sensitivity at all. The cleansing effectiveness is a bit weak, so when removing makeup, I find I need to wash about three times to feel like it's thoroughly cleansed. Also, it used to be sold at Olive Young, but I haven't seen it there lately, which is disappointing. This product doesn't lather up much naturally. Just squeeze it onto your hands like an oil, gently massage it onto your face in circular motions, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. - jy********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 23, 2021
I'm on my second bottle now. I've never used a cleansing foam for this long, but I think I'll stick with this one. It's great because it doesn't cause irritation or blemishes. I bought it thinking it would gently remove oil after oil cleansing, but its cleansing effectiveness is quite good. Among all the cleansing foams I've used, this one definitely offers the best value for money! It doesn't lather up extremely well, but since I use it as a second cleanser, that's actually a plus for me! I'm using it for morning cleansing, when I'm not going out or haven't applied mineral sunscreen, and as a second cleanser after oil cleansing. However, I wouldn't recommend using it alone after full makeup removal. - mi*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 8, 2021
Since my skin became super sensitive, I've been interested in low pH cleansers. I was surprised by how moisturizing this one is after cleansing, especially considering it doesn't lather much. It also doesn't seem to irritate my skin. The generous amount makes it great value for money. There's nothing particularly bad, but the lack of lather feels a bit strange. Using a foaming net might be helpful. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 25, 2020
I started using this to improve my skin, which was marred by acne scars. With other foam cleansers, I always experienced severe skin tightness after washing, forcing me to apply cream immediately to avoid discomfort. However, with this foam cleanser, I could instantly feel how gentle it was, as it didn't cause that issue. As gentle as it feels, I could tell that its cleansing effectiveness isn't great. Personally, I don't wear heavy makeup, so it's not a big issue for me. But even I need to double cleanse, which makes me think others might need to wash their face even more times. Compared to other products, this foam cleanser doesn't produce as much lather, which might make you feel like you need to use more. But don't worry - a small amount is actually sufficient. - bj******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 19, 2020
There was a time when I had to wear heavy stage makeup and cleanse religiously, which really took a toll on my skin. My face was so sensitive that even a gentle touch of a towel felt like a laser treatment at the dermatologist's. My skin was irritated, flaking, and unbearably dry. That's when I realized I needed a gentler foam cleanser. After researching mild ingredients, I became fascinated with cica and bought this product without hesitation. As someone with combination dehydrated skin that's thin and super sensitive, harsh cleansers usually leave my face feeling sore with red, itchy patches. But this product is so gentle, I don't experience any of those issues. It doesn't feel harsh on my skin after cleansing, so I used it diligently. True to its low pH nature, it doesn't produce abundant foam, which means you end up using more product. The scent is hard to describe - it's not unscented, but it's not off-putting either. Usually after using a foam cleanser, my skin feels so dry that I need to apply something immediately. With this product, while it's not completely non-drying, the tightness isn't severe. I can take my time with my skincare routine without rushing. During my heavy makeup phase, a friend who works in the beauty industry saw my cleanser and praised my choice. She said it was gentle, suitable for my skin condition, and that I'd made a good decision choosing this brand. Being gentle means it doesn't completely remove heavy makeup. On days when I wear makeup, I still use an oil cleanser first, cleanse until the oil is mostly gone, and then use this as a final step. Using this product alone seems to lead to more dead skin cells buildup. It also doesn't remove sunscreen very well, so my family thinks it's not effective enough and I'm the only one using it. I suppose it would be asking too much to expect it to be effective on color cosmetics too. It's not exactly a pro tip, but I use this for my morning cleanse. It leaves my face feeling fresh without any tightness, which is great for mornings. When I occasionally use it for evening cleansing, I make sure to thoroughly wash my hands first. If there's any oil on your hands, you'll end up using the product to clean your hands instead. The bottle is generously sized, so using more product seems to improve its cleansing effectiveness.
