It's moisturizing and doesn't break down easily. While it doesn't provide heavy coverage, it does a decent job of concealing minor blemishes. Given its hydrating formula, some transfer seems unavoidable. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 17, 2023
I wanted to use this cushion for its good ingredients, and its biggest advantage is that it has almost no harmful components, which is great Compared to other cushions, its staying power and transfer resistance aren't particularly impressive - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 8, 2023
It's just one of those average cushions. I'm not really a beauty expert, so I can't tell what's good or bad about it. I'm just using it without any issues. If you don't set it properly, it seems to transfer a bit. Also, when I apply makeup in the morning and remove it in the evening, I notice my skin is slightly red. I'm not sure if it's because the makeup itself is clogging my pores or something else. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 30, 2022
I loved how it beautifully evens out my complexion. The coverage is a bit lacking, and it tends to transfer onto masks. However, setting it with powder reduces the transfer, so I'll likely continue using it. I don't like it when it looks too thick, so I use a sponge to press it into my skin for a more seamless finish. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 13, 2022
1. As someone with super sensitive skin, this cushion doesn't cause any blemishes when applied, which is great. 2. Even when layering multiple times, it doesn't look cakey. 1. When applied to my skin, it gives a dull, grayish, or yellowish tone, making my complexion look lackluster (kind of like when you're constipated...) 2. It lacks coverage. 3. It transfers onto masks heavily. 4. Personally, I find the packaging unattractive. 5. Not good value for money. Although there are more downsides, the fact that it doesn't cause blemishes is a huge merit, so I'm still using it. Unless I find a better cushion, I'll probably buy this one again. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJan 9, 2021
It provides good coverage while still feeling moisturizing on application. Plus, it even brightens my complexion as a bonus. I'm extremely satisfied! There's not really anything I'm disappointed with. If I had to nitpick, it does transfer quite a bit when wearing a mask, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinJan 9, 2021
I love the pretty case and that satisfying 'click' when you apply it. It adheres beautifully, even fades gracefully, and works great for touch-ups. I'm really enjoying using it! However, given the current situation with masks, I can't deny there's some transfer onto the mask, which is a bit disappointing. Here's my personal tip: after applying this cushion, I wait a bit and then layer on a fixer or powder. This prevents it from rubbing off on my mask and works wonders! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 16, 2020
The case is pretty and large, which is great for checking your reflection. What I loved most is how the color applies beautifully, making my complexion look radiant! As someone with super sensitive skin, I always check ingredients before buying cosmetics, and this foundation has fewer harsh ingredients compared to others, which I really appreciate. After applying this foundation and doing just one touch-up, I wore it for 12 hours and took a photo of my mask - there was minimal transfer! I have super sensitive skin that's also dry. In this weather, my face feels so tight, it's really uncomfortable... The disappointing part for me was that it was too drying for my skin. While it definitely transfers less to my mask, it's so drying that after just an hour or two, my face looks like a drought-stricken landscape, all cracked and parched. I love the cushion design and the foundation color so much, but the dryness is a letdown... I think it might work better in summer, so I'll try it again then! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 13, 2020
First off, I'd say my skin type is combination. I usually use shade 21 with a yellow base. Even before the pandemic, I preferred a semi-matte finish over a dewy one, so I always set my cushion foundation with powder. These days, with masks being a necessity, I've found a great powder that keeps my makeup matte and I even use a setting spray to lock it in place. Now, let's talk about the pros of the Amuse cushion: 1. The case is absolutely stunning! Even before I saw it in person as part of The Hwahae Testers, I was raving to my friend about how beautiful it looked in photos. In real life, it's even more gorgeous! 2. It's a hydrating cushion that's perfect from now through winter! Just like its case, the formula is wonderfully moisturizing. You can see a lovely glow after just one application. If you're a fan of dewy finishes, you'll love this. 3. It's vegan! While this isn't about the performance, it's worth noting that this cushion is made without any animal-derived ingredients. Now for the cons: 1. It can emphasize texture. Because it's a hydrating formula, I noticed some pilling around my nose area. However, I didn't see many other reviews mentioning this, so it might just be my application technique. 2. It doesn't play well with powder blush. This might be a specific issue with my products, but I've never experienced this before. After applying my makeup in the morning (cushion, powder, setting spray) and wearing it all day, I came home to find my blush had clumped up. I can't say for sure if it's just this cushion or a combination of products, but it's worth noting. 3. The case is a bit bulky and prone to fingerprints. While I absolutely adore the design (I've been showing it off to all my friends!), the transparent outer layer makes it slightly larger than other cushions. This can be an issue if you prefer mini bags like I do. Also, because of the clear casing, it tends to show fingerprints easily. It was a bit disappointing to see smudges right after excitedly opening it for the first time. Of course, they wipe off, so it's not a major drawback! Additional notes: 1. On my shade 21 skin that usually takes a yellow base, this cushion wasn't too light. It matched quite well! 2. Personally, as someone who prefers a semi-matte finish, I wouldn't really recommend this cushion. If you do want to try it, you might need to set it with powder, but even then, I wasn't particularly impressed. 3. Being a hydrating cushion, it does transfer onto masks quite easily. If you really dislike makeup transfer, make sure to set it thoroughly with powder and a setting spray. (Though I must admit, even with these steps, I still experienced some transfer.) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 13, 2020
I love that it's vegan and the ingredients are great. Despite the case feeling a bit flimsy, it's so pretty that everyone always asks about it when I take it out! The color is bright and has a pink base, which suits me well. It has a nice, moisturizing application. The cushion is also larger than others, so you get a bigger mirror too. While it applies smoothly, it finishes semi-matte, which can make the makeup look a bit cakey. I think this is partly due to the cushion puff. The puff is really disappointing... They call it a 'clean puff', but it doesn't allow for good skin texture when applying makeup. Also, the shade is quite light, and despite claims of good coverage, it doesn't really deliver. There's also some transfer - it rubs off a lot on masks. It's disappointing in many ways. And the cushion case looks cheap, it feels like a toy. Just changing the puff can make a big difference - it improves the skin finish! It works best when your skin is in good condition. Exfoliating and using concealer are a must with this product.
