✓ No harmful ingredients - This alone makes using this cushion worthwhile. Cushions are products we apply from morning to night daily, but most famous competitors' products contain harmful ingredients. ✓ Great value for the quality ✓ Beautiful case design ✓ Gives a dewy, radiant finish. Not greasy, but makes skin look healthy ✓ Coverage isn't great ✓ Case is a bit large to carry around ✓ Built-in puff seems to absorb too much product ✓ After applying in the morning and wearing a mask, by nighttime there was slight patchiness visible on the cheeks, like a white residue The lack of harmful ingredients means it's gentle on the skin, and with added sun protection, these drawbacks don't feel significant Perfect for those who don't need or want full coverage but still want more than a bare face! It feels light and breathable after application, not heavy like you're wearing makeup. The photo shows a comparison with Espoir Be Glow. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinDec 6, 2023
Absorbs well and comes with a generous amount. The complexion it gives is lovely, and the packaging is quite nice too. If you drop it, the product separates from the container. It doesn't provide much coverage, and the puff is hard to clean even after washing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 26, 2023
Low in harmful ingredients and gentle on the skin. While it offers no coverage, that's part of its charm. I've gone through over ten of these. It doesn't cake or feel heavy, and it gives a subtle, natural brightening effect. Provides absolutely no coverage. When it breaks down, it can settle into pores. The original puff that comes with it is subpar. It works great with a Pily Mily cushion puff. Toss out the original puff it comes with. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinJul 26, 2023
It does a great job covering pores around the nose area, and I love that all the shades are on the brighter side. I'm not sure if it's just that the puff doesn't work well with it, but it's really disappointing. I've seen many similar comments in the reviews too... - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMar 18, 2023
(Shade 01 Fair Tune) I tried this when my skin was a bit troubled. *Application: - It goes on incredibly thin and feels moisturizing, but sets to a semi-matte finish over time. You can build it up for more coverage. (I recommend applying 2 layers, as 3 might be too thick) *Color: - I didn't notice any whitening effect. It matches your complexion for a truly natural look. It's perfect for daily makeup as it doesn't look like you're wearing anything at all. *Coverage: - At first application, it didn't cover blemishes or redness, only blurred my pores. I thought 'Hmm... not great.' But after a second thin layer, while it didn't completely hide blemish marks, it evened out my skin tone nicely! Initially unimpressed, but once I finished applying, my skin looked really good. *Longevity: - It lasts quite long, but looks best after 3-5 hours of wear. Especially when a subtle oiliness comes through, it makes your skin look like a peeled egg - so beautiful! It makes your skin look naturally flawless. *Transfer: - Not much transfer. With mask-wearing now optional, it's less crucial, but it should hold up well even with a mask on. It doesn't seem to work well with the included puff. The puff is too stiff, absorbs too much product, and slightly emphasizes dead skin cells. I've been using a different puff to pat it in and only finishing with the original puff. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 26, 2023
I was satisfied with the Amuse Dew Jelly Vegan Cushion, so I decided to purchase it again. Shade 01 Pure has a slightly yellow undertone on my skin, but 01 Fair Dune is similar with a slightly pinker base that suits me better! The Dew Jelly has more hydration, making it great for winter use. The Skin Dune has less moisture compared to the Dew Jelly, making it suitable for spring and summer! So far, I haven't experienced any irritation on my skin. When using the included puff, it seems to absorb oil and moisture separately, making it too dry to use on the face. I ended up using a different puff instead. While it brightens the complexion, the coverage isn't high. So if you're expecting high coverage, this might not be the right product for you! I found that using an NBR puff instead of the included one resulted in a more natural and seamless application on the skin. It applies well even when you've used hydrating skincare products as a base. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 31, 2022
This is the best cushion I've ever used. It's thin yet provides decent coverage, and it seems to perfectly adhere to cool-toned skin. I'd even buy refills with my own money. Plus, it's vegan! The cushion compact is too large and thick, making it inconvenient to carry around. It seems they made the case too big compared to the amount of product inside. The staying power isn't great either. You need to pat it on quite a bit with the cushion puff when applying, otherwise it tends to come off easily. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 30, 2022
* I have fair skin that can use shades 21-19, with a slight redness, some blemishes, and sensitive skin. (It quickly turns red and itchy if a product doesn't suit me) I have a cool undertone :) 1. Hydration - I have dry skin, not extremely dry, but I feel tightness after washing my face and need to use a rich cream in winter to prevent my skin from turning white and flaky. I usually prefer cushions or foundations with a semi-matte finish. That's why I typically focus on thorough skincare before makeup, but with this cushion being quite moisturizing, you don't need to put in as much effort into your base routine. It's not so dewy that it slides around, but if you're concerned about this, you might want to lightly set it with some powder when finishing up :) I felt this would be really nice for those with dry skin. 2. Beautiful Packaging - The packaging itself is really pretty. I even thought 'Wow, I really want this!' just looking at the case. The opening mechanism was a bit confusing at first, but now I'm using it comfortably. The large mirror inside is also great. 3. Pore Coverage - Since it's called a 'Cover Cushion', it does a pretty good job of covering pores. However, larger blemishes were harder to conceal, so I needed a bit of concealer. 4. Doesn't Transfer Much to Masks - I think this is essential in these mask-wearing times. Despite being moisturizing, it surprisingly doesn't transfer much to masks! 1. Large Case - It's pretty, but it's also quite big. While you probably won't lose it, it might be a bit inconvenient for those who like to carry their makeup without a bag. 2. Puff - When I first applied it with the included puff, my makeup crumbled and clumped terribly. If you're going to use the included puff, I recommend pressing and sliding rather than patting. The included puff is really not good. 3. Coverage - Being a moisturizing cushion, it has low coverage. Despite being called a 'Cover Cushion', I definitely needed concealer. It tends to break down around the nose area. I really recommend changing the puff when applying. The included puff is truly disappointing... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 12, 2022
Absolutely fantastic! I can't rave enough about this product! As someone with oily skin, I've been using the Hera Black Cushion for years. But with mask-wearing causing faster darkening, I was on the hunt for a new product. I ordered this one without much thought since it's vegan, and I'm so glad I did! I love it so much that I've even bought a refill after finishing the first one. First off, the color is gorgeous! It's bright and radiant. The formula is watery and applies in a thin, hydrating layer that blends naturally with the skin, making the color look absolutely beautiful. Plus, there's no darkening! It doesn't break down throughout the day. Instead, it gently fades. In summer, when I needed to touch up, I'd just wipe off the areas where my mask had rubbed with my fingers or a tissue, then reapply. Since it's such a lightweight product, touch-ups don't cake up or create visible lines. Since I have oily skin, I don't use the cushion puff. I apply it with a yellow clay sponge instead. I prefer a bit more coverage, so I always apply sunscreen underneath and use the sponge for a thicker, more matte finish. In winter, I've switched to using the cushion puff. Oh, and the case is pretty too! However, the case is huge. It's just too big and thick. As someone who loves mini bags, this was quite inconvenient. This cushion definitely won't suit those looking for a matte, high-coverage option. But if you dislike thick makeup, you might want to give this a try. Also, I don't think it works well with the included puff. It does apply thinly for sure, but I find it looks better with a bit more coverage. I found that using a different air puff works better than the included one. For those with oily skin, using a sponge like I do works great too! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinFeb 3, 2022
Who might benefit from this product: 1. Those who don't need high coverage but want something that conceals redness well and somewhat fills in pores. 2. People looking for a lightweight application that's easy to build upon for touch-ups. - It's fantastic for touch-ups! 3. It doesn't cause blemishes. For a cushion foundation, it feels incredibly lightweight. Even when layered, it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. 4. It transfers less onto masks. While you'd need to skip makeup altogether to prevent any transfer, this product transfers less than others with similar coverage. (This is based on my experience as someone with dry skin who doesn't use powder.) For those interested, I'll compare it to Amuse Dew Jelly Vegan, which I've only tested in-store: The Dew Jelly Vegan feels more like a tinted sunscreen, whereas this product is definitely a cushion foundation. It offers much higher coverage and has a slightly powdery finish. Choose this if you want to wear makeup, or opt for the Dew Jelly Vegan if you need a portable tinted sun cushion. Drawbacks: It doesn't fill in large pores. While it evens out the skin and fills small pores on the cheeks, it doesn't work for larger pores on the nose. For large pores, it's better to use a primer or apply the product with a pressing motion. The case is thick and bulky. It feels like it might shatter if dropped... It doesn't work well with the included puff. Try applying it with a smooth, firm puff that doesn't have a textured surface. The biggest issue: No refills available. While the price is reasonable, why aren't refills offered?
