Current skin condition: Dry, sensitive, prone to redness, with a couple of small blemishes I bought this after a friend recommended it. It's been ages since I last used an oil cleanser. I applied the oil to dry hands, massaged it in, and then rinsed thoroughly with lukewarm water to remove any excess. The cleansing effectiveness seems great. After washing, it felt like something had been lifted off my skin... refreshing, I'd say? My skin felt comfortable. My complexion felt hydrated and smooth afterwards. Even when I used it around my eyes, there was no irritation. The product itself feels gentle on my super sensitive skin. I think I'll continue using it regularly. There's nothing I dislike about this product. I plan to keep using it for the foreseeable future. - si*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 26, 2025
I've been using this for over 3 years, and it's fantastic at cleansing with its rich oil-like texture. The best part? It doesn't sting even if it gets in your eyes! However, since I have dry skin, it can leave my face feeling a bit parched afterwards. So, I've adapted my routine - instead of using it all over, I focus on removing makeup from my eyes and lips only. While its cleansing effectiveness is impressive, it does tend to leave my skin feeling somewhat dry after use. For those with super sensitive skin or combination dehydrated skin, you might want to follow up with a hydrating toner or moisturizer to maintain your skin's oil and moisture balance. This product works hard to remove makeup and impurities, but it's important to replenish your skin's hydration afterwards for optimal skin health. - sk******Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 15, 2025
This is a product that I continue to use and am satisfied with. It really suits me well. While it was said that blackheads dissolve well, it is disappointing that they do not seem to dissolve as noticeably. - he****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 2, 2025
This is my holy grail cleansing oil! - The texture is light, not heavy, making it perfect for massaging - Instead of that typical oily scent, it has a subtle, delightful apple fragrance - It's amazing at dissolving dead skin cells and sebum! You can actually feel the little particles melting away as you massage - it's so satisfying... - It emulsifies beautifully There are absolutely no downsides, never ever!!!! If I really had to nitpick, it's that it's not very well-known, so there aren't many big sales... This is my honest review of a product I purchased with my own money. Skin type: Dry, thin, and sensitive skin. I occasionally get blemishes and often have small bumps. I've been using this since it came in the light green packaging, and it's consistently good. Despite having dry skin that lacks oil, I find many cleansing oils too heavy and thick, making me worry they won't wash off well. This one, however, isn't heavy, rinses off easily, and still effectively removes makeup. I've used it for years and never experienced blemishes due to incomplete makeup removal or residual oil. It's not a cleansing oil with any extraordinary features, but rather a mild, reliable one that does its job well. That's why I keep coming back to it even after trying others. It doesn't seem to have a strong ability to extract blackheads or sebum. However, this actually makes it feel gentler on the skin, which I appreciate. My cleansing routine starts with using an eye makeup remover to take off eye and lip makeup, as well as any glitter on my face. Then I use this cleansing oil to remove the remaining makeup, followed by a low pH cleansing foam to wipe away any residue. I have extremely thin skin prone to redness, but this routine has worked well for me for years without causing any irritation. - ct****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedApr 24, 2025
This is my Nth repurchase of this lightweight, non-irritating cleansing oil that leaves a refreshing feeling. It's so convenient that when recycling, you only need to remove the easily detachable label sticker! While it effectively removes eyeliner and eyeshadow, it struggles with mascara, so I still need to use a separate eye makeup remover for that. - db**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedApr 21, 2025
I've been using this product for ages, at least 6 years? My mom got me started on it. I'm obsessed with mascara and layer it on thinly about 4-5 times, but this stuff removes it like a dream. No need for a separate eye makeup remover - just gently dissolve the makeup with this, massage it lightly, and it comes off clean. Many other products struggle with eye makeup, especially mascara, but this one works wonders without irritating my eyes. That's why it's my go-to. I always make sure to stock up in advance! Highly recommended!!! I don't really have any complaints. It's never caused blemishes and doesn't seem particularly harsh on the skin. For effective makeup removal without irritation, apply thoroughly to dissolve the makeup, wait a moment, then wipe it off. - bb*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 17, 2025
I personally love Innisfree's Apple Seed line. I used to only remove my makeup with lip and eye remover, but after trying different products, I came back to the Apple Seed oil. Among all the oils I've tried, this one seems to be the least irritating. It doesn't cause any skin inflammation, so I'm using it comfortably. The cleansing effectiveness is great too - sometimes I can even feel sebum coming out while massaging it in. There's nothing I particularly dislike about it! Really, nothing at all! - ji*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 26, 2025
Out of the many cleansing oils out there, I chose this product for one reason... the ingredients! As you can see, the ingredient list is simple and impressive. With cleansing oils, there's usually at least one ingredient to be cautious about, but the Innisfree Apple Seed Cleansing Oil seems to have a great formulation, which is why I picked it. And let's talk about that beautiful packaging! Isn't the bottle just gorgeous? It makes my bathroom look even prettier! I'm so satisfied with its elegant white color and the lovely container design - it's not flashy, just simply beautiful. Of course, cleansing effectiveness is the most important factor! This oil effortlessly removes sunscreen, long-wear foundation, eyebrow products, eyeshadow, and even light makeup - leaving my skin perfectly clean! It emulsifies well too. After using it, I haven't experienced any blemishes and I'm really satisfied with the results! The only downside is that I wish more people knew about this product! - qu*****Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 18, 2025
Review for oily-dry skin around the nose area: 1. The ingredients are great, so I can use it with peace of mind. 2. The scent is lovely - fresh and sweet. It reminds me of the Jeju Cherry Blossom Jelly Cream. 3. It's effective at removing blackheads and does a decent job with whiteheads too! 1. The product size is quite small. 2. It doesn't remove whiteheads in one go.
