However, compared to sun cream, it doesn't feel as oily like organic sunscreen, and it's not as thick or dry as mineral sunscreen, which I liked. It applies smoothly and doesn't become overly oily or dry over time, so it felt comfortable. Even in the dry season, when my face tends to feel tight no matter how diligently I use my skincare, my face felt quite comfortable for a long time in November, which is supposed to be a dry season. I'm curious to try it out in the summer as well. In terms of coverage, I usually apply products thinly, and I was satisfied with how it covered my skin even with a light application.
ConsEven though I've been diligently using my skincare and applying this product for the past week, my makeup starts to break down within 4-5 hours. And even before that, it starts to look a bit uneven. I usually use a full coverage foundation, so the difference in the formula is probably why I'm noticing more issues with it wearing off and separating. From reading other reviews, it seems like the wear issue can be quite bad for some people, and I can relate to that to some extent. Doing a thorough skincare routine does help it look a bit less messy when it starts to break down, but the whole point of using a sun cushion is to have a quick makeup routine, and that requires less focus on the skincare prep. Also, I'm not sure if it's because of this sun cushion, but I did get one pimple, which is unusual for me.
TipOverall, it's not significantly better than other regular cushions, but the ingredients are good, so I feel reassured. And if you have dry, dehydrated skin, make sure to have a solid skincare routine and finish with a mattifying powder - that seems to help it last longer before breaking down. The tone was well-adhered and the coverage didn't seem too bad either.
ConsIt transfers onto the mask ㅜㅜ To be honest, I haven't seen many products that don't transfer, but in these times, it's an unavoidable concern... And the breakdown is a bit disappointing...
TipUsing a translucent powder can help reduce the transfer issue to some extent, but it's not perfect. And based on other reviews, it's not really recommended if you have issues with dryness.

However, I think it would be better if there were a slightly brighter shade. ㅡIt has a semi-matte finish and feels a bit powdery, but it doesn't feel dry, which I liked. ㅡI like that the makeup doesn't get cakey. It applies thinly and builds up well with additional layers. ㅡThe reason I applied for the Hwahae Trial Reviewer program was because of the ingredients, and I'm glad there's no ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate. ㅡThe coverage is quite good. (4th photo) ㅡThe puff shape is not completely round, but has a slightly pointed edge, which was nice for applying around the nose and under the eyes. (2nd photo)
ConsㅡIt has a powdery finish, so there is some emphasis on the skin texture. However, the smooth areas of the skin look nice. ㅡThe breakdown is not the best. It gets more powdery over time, emphasizing the skin texture more, and the dry areas start to flake. The upside is that touch-ups make the makeup a bit thicker, but it goes back to the original state. (3rd photo: Before makeup/Immediately after/6 hours later/After touch-up) ㅡThere is some transfer onto the mask, though not too severe.
TipDry-skinned individuals should ensure a solid skincare routine!

I'll keep using it and let you know if there's anything else to add! ✔️I liked that it didn't apply too thickly on my skin (meaning it doesn't have extremely high coverage) ✔️I usually finish my skin makeup with just a cushion, and since I have sensitive skin, even a little bad ingredient can immediately turn my face upside down, but this cushion didn't cause any breakouts even when I used it all day long (almost from 9 AM to 10 PM)!
Cons✔️Concealer is a must for my skin ✔️I'm not sure if the way it breaks down is pretty. Even though I used it all day, it crumbled and broke apart.
TipI recommend building a strong skincare routine!
