🔥Hwahae Trial Reviewer Review🔥 ❤️Case It's thinner than most cushions, but the diameter is larger. It's easy to fit into tight spaces, but the larger diameter makes me unsure about its efficiency. I'll upload a comparison photo with the cushion I was using. ❤️Puff It has a pretty water droplet shape. Since the case diameter is larger than other brands, the puff is also a bit bigger. It's easy to apply to detailed areas, so it passes! ❤️Texture It's a moist and bouncy texture. However, when applied by hand, it doesn't spread as smoothly as a lotion, but has a slightly creamy application like sunscreen. So exfoliation and basic skincare are important for this cushion. But it doesn't apply thickly at all, so you don't need to worry about that. ❤️Brightness It's a shame that only one shade is available. It claims to match the user's skin tone, but in my opinion, it's around shade 21. Those with darker skin tones should be cautious. ❤️Coverage The coverage... it's better not to have high expectations. It applies naturally with almost no coverage, which is great for those who like a very natural look. But for someone like me with acne-prone skin, it's not recommended. It doesn't cover redness, and even layering doesn't work. ❤️Adherence It's not completely detached, but it doesn't feel very adherent to the skin either. When I pressed it with my hand right after application, there were visible marks, and it transferred a lot when I took photos with my phone. However, the surprising thing was that it didn't transfer much onto my mask. The cushion I used before would transfer a lot onto the mask, which was stressful, but this one was definitely better. Applying powder also reduced the mask transfer even further. ❤️Longevity When I checked after going out and wearing a mask, even though it had clearly transferred onto the mask, there was hardly any peeling. It didn't become patchy either. However, there were some creases. There was also some emphasis on dry patches. But the moisture level was good - I was surprised that it didn't feel dry at all. ❤️Ingredients Since I have acne-prone skin, when I use products that don't suit me, my face gets itchy and breaks out the next day. But I didn't experience that with this cushion. However, I don't have extremely sensitive skin, so I can't give a definite answer for those who are sensitive to sunscreen.
Cons
Recommendation: -Those who prefer a natural makeup look and want a bit more coverage than sunscreen, but find foundation or cushions too heavy. Not Recommended: -Those with acne-prone skin, or who prioritize high coverage. -Those who prefer a smaller cushion size. Aside from the people I've recommended, there's no particular need to purchase this cushion. However, if you only want a natural makeup look, but find sunscreen lacks coverage, and you just want a single product, this could be a good option for you.😊
Tip
It transfers a lot at first. Be careful with the amount you use! The photos below are in order: before use, after use, 7 hours after application, and a size comparison with a regular cushion.

* Review written after using the product consistently for more than a week * 1. Spreadability: When first applied to the skin, there is a cooling sensation, giving a refreshing feel. It has a semi-matte finish, so it can be used comfortably even in the winter, as long as the base is well-prepared. It has a cool and moisturized feel, so I thought it would be quite transferable, but it's not as much as I expected, so I think it's quite nice!! 2. Color: This was the most satisfying part. The color is around shade 22. It's not too bright, nor does it have a yellow undertone, so it can be used quite naturally. I wish the shade 22 was just a bit brighter, but this product is perfect for that color. I think this cushion is perfect to use these days when we're constantly wearing masks. The color is not too obvious that it looks like 'I'm wearing makeup,' and the coverage is not perfect, so it has a light finish, making it less stuffy to wear under a mask. The coverage also builds up well, helping to conceal redness.
Cons
The downside is that it has a matte finish, so even though I thought I applied the base lightly, there is some pilling. I wiped it with a skin toner and applied a light sunscreen, but it still pilled slightly. It's best to apply it by gently tapping, rather than rubbing it on, and the base should be moisturized but lightweight to avoid pilling.
Tip
I also go between shades 21 and 23, and both work well for me. When applying, it's best to apply it thinly and build up, rather than applying it all at once and patting it on heavily, as that can cause pilling.

The best part was that it applied smoothly and cleanly without any excess. It's a moisturizing cushion that applies with a thin, lightweight feel.
Cons
While it maintains a certain radiance after application, by the afternoon it looks like my skin has completely eaten up the makeup. Is there much of a difference in the before and after photos? It does a good job of blocking the pores.

✔️Coverage: Medium to high (covers quite a bit) ✔️Blendability: Semi-matte in texture, blends well ✔️Hydration: Applies nicely, but doesn't provide enough moisture for my dry skin, causing it to crack and flake. ✔️Longevity: Starts to break down and crease after about 3 hours (applying it thinly and sparingly helps prevent this) ✔️Fragrance: Almost completely fragrance-free, great for those sensitive to scents ✔️Puff: The slightly domed shape makes it easy to apply precisely ✔️Frequency of use: As a dry-skinned person who prefers more hydration, I don't reach for this as often ✔️Value: Not recommended for those with extremely dry skin, but could be a good cushion for those without severe dryness This cushion provides great coverage and the fragrance-free formula is a plus. As long as your skin isn't extremely dry, this could be a great option! The lightweight formula is also convenient for on-the-go touch-ups.
Cons
As mentioned before, this cushion feels a bit drying on my normal-to-dry skin, causing it to crack and flake. However, I think this could be improved by thoroughly hydrating the skin with a moisturizer or essence beforehand. Luckily, it didn't cause any breakouts or irritation, even on my sensitive skin.
Tip
Using a hydrating face mask or moisturizer prior to applying this cushion can really help improve the overall look and wear time!

The difference between the right and wrong sides is quite obvious, even without explanation. It can be used for shades 21 to 23. Those with very bright skin (like actress Lee Young-ae) may find it difficult, but regular users of shade 21 will be fine. It covers naturally like a BB cream and has a lively glow. The puff is quite large, so it can be applied quickly. The finish is not stuffy. It is quite powdery. (Many have mentioned the importance of having a strong base before applying, but I applied it right after a moisturizing toner and it worked well.)
Cons
Those with sensitive skin may experience breakouts when using this product due to the high SPF. Even though the ingredients are mild and alcohol-free, that can still happen. There is also a possibility of accentuating flaky skin.

This was my first time using a sun cushion, so I'm not sure how it compares to other sun cushions. However, compared to sun cream, it doesn't feel as oily like organic sunscreen, and it's not as thick or dry as mineral sunscreen, which I liked. It applies smoothly and doesn't become overly oily or dry over time, so it felt comfortable. Even in the dry season, when my face tends to feel tight no matter how diligently I use my skincare, my face felt quite comfortable for a long time in November, which is supposed to be a dry season. I'm curious to try it out in the summer as well. In terms of coverage, I usually apply products thinly, and I was satisfied with how it covered my skin even with a light application.
Cons
Even though I've been diligently using my skincare and applying this product for the past week, my makeup starts to break down within 4-5 hours. And even before that, it starts to look a bit uneven. I usually use a full coverage foundation, so the difference in the formula is probably why I'm noticing more issues with it wearing off and separating. From reading other reviews, it seems like the wear issue can be quite bad for some people, and I can relate to that to some extent. Doing a thorough skincare routine does help it look a bit less messy when it starts to break down, but the whole point of using a sun cushion is to have a quick makeup routine, and that requires less focus on the skincare prep. Also, I'm not sure if it's because of this sun cushion, but I did get one pimple, which is unusual for me.
Tip
Overall, it's not significantly better than other regular cushions, but the ingredients are good, so I feel reassured. And if you have dry, dehydrated skin, make sure to have a solid skincare routine and finish with a mattifying powder - that seems to help it last longer before breaking down. I have a slightly tan complexion with frequent breakouts and an oily T-zone. Longevity ☆☆☆☆☆ It really never budges or lifts off at all. I usually have issues with my chin, nose, and lip area getting shiny, but even after hours, it stays put and adheres just as well as when I first applied it. I'm so impressed! The adhesion is truly praiseworthy. Adhesion ☆☆☆☆☆ There's absolutely no awkwardness or anything, and the skin expression looks so pretty! It has a slight glow but not a single bit of lifting. Isn't it just so great? Breakouts ☆☆☆ The ingredients all seem really good, but I did get a pimple or two. However, that's still satisfactory for me since I've never had a cushion where I didn't get any breakouts at all. I have such a sensitive and weak skin... Coverage ☆☆☆ If you pack it on a bit, it can cover most blemishes reasonably well. But it still leaves a bit of peeking through, so it might be better for those with clearer skin or who don't prefer heavy makeup.
Cons
It was all so good, but the color is just too bright! I usually use 23-24, but this is almost two shades lighter. I'm a bit paler in the winter, so I've been using it, but still... If only the color was different, this would be my holy grail cushion. Could you please make a slightly darker shade as well?
Tip
Ah, a tip - with proper application, you can achieve a beautiful skin-like finish!

😎 Skin Type Dry/Redness/Sensitive/Yellowish Skin But... After winning the Hwahae Trial Reviewer, I am in a situation where I cannot wear makeup, so I am writing this using my sister's skin. 😊 Sister's Skin Type Dry/Cheek Acne, Forehead Milia/Sensitive/Fair Skin 👍 Coverage As with most cushions, the most amount of product is picked up on the first puff application. Adjusting the amount is essential on the first touch! However, the coverage was not that great 😢 But it feels thick...? Is it greedy to want coverage when there are a lot of pimples on the cheeks? 👍 Spreadability When I first patted it on my face, I felt the dryness... It looks forced to be glowy, and it really looks dull and accentuates the milia. The more I patted with the puff, the more she was upset that she was invited to a dead skin party... 👍 Transfer Clio Glow Cushion vs Suntique Skin Fit Cushion Glow and mask should not meet The Suntique cushion had significantly less transfer! But since I'm dry, over time the pimple area peeled off and the dead skin was accentuated 😢 👍 Shade The shade matched perfectly when my dry-skinned sister used it.
Cons
It's a given that you should have a solid skincare routine before applying makeup, but I hope you've listened to that obvious advice, haha..
Tip
Not recommended for those with dry skin and acne-prone skin! I, with oily/redness/sensitive skin, will use it and update the review later!

The only good thing is that the sun protection factor is high, so you don't need sunscreen. That's it.
Cons
1. Coverage - As you can see from the photo, the coverage is really, really poor. Other people say the coverage is good, but I couldn't feel that. When you look closely, it's not that it's covering, but the cushion content is erasing other products?? It was there, but it's gone.^^ 2. Skin Expression - I thought it would be similar to the usual drugstore products, but there's no radiant skin expression or subtle glow that makes the skin look pretty. At first, I doubted my own eyes. And if you look at the swatch, the one on the far right is applied and dried, but the difference from the middle color is huge. The camera couldn't capture it, but the actual difference is really big. 3. Color - This cushion is said to be suitable for shades 21 to 23, but absolutely not. I use shade 21, and my skin turned really yellow. I thought at least the skin tone would be maintained, but that wasn't the case. It's like the cushion color just sits on top of my face.^!^ If you want a more muted tone, I can recommend it. Over time, the content turns orange. 4. Lasting Power - It's almost non-existent. It lasts about 30 minutes. Moreover, when you wear a mask, the parts that touch it just peel off. Considering only the sun protection factor, I wouldn't strongly recommend it. 5. Breakdown - You can see the cushion clumping and breaking down. It breaks down in a short time, and it's not a pretty breakdown. If you have a solid base, it might last for an hour?

The formula is lightweight and not burdensome on the skin! I was hesitant about products that are overly moisturizing and heavy since I have to wear a mask, but this one doesn't completely disappear either. It's just the right amount. Also, I've tried working out with the mask on before, and it didn't get all messy and fall apart!! It was surprisingly quite nice. Oh, and the puff! It's so nice and bouncy, I really like it!
Cons
Hmm...there's no shade range! I use the 23 shade and it matches my skin tone perfectly, but if you like a brighter look, I'd recommend it. But if you prefer a more natural look like me, I wouldn't suggest it.
Tip
Just lightly dab the puff and apply it evenly across your face. The coverage isn't great, but it'll give you a subtle glow while still looking natural.
