As long as your skin isn't extremely dry, this could be a great option! The lightweight formula is also convenient for on-the-go touch-ups.
ConsAs mentioned before, this cushion feels a bit drying on my normal-to-dry skin, causing it to crack and flake. However, I think this could be improved by thoroughly hydrating the skin with a moisturizer or essence beforehand. Luckily, it didn't cause any breakouts or irritation, even on my sensitive skin.
TipUsing a hydrating face mask or moisturizer prior to applying this cushion can really help improve the overall look and wear time!

However, compared to sun cream, it doesn't feel as oily like organic sunscreen, and it's not as thick or dry as mineral sunscreen, which I liked. It applies smoothly and doesn't become overly oily or dry over time, so it felt comfortable. Even in the dry season, when my face tends to feel tight no matter how diligently I use my skincare, my face felt quite comfortable for a long time in November, which is supposed to be a dry season. I'm curious to try it out in the summer as well. In terms of coverage, I usually apply products thinly, and I was satisfied with how it covered my skin even with a light application.
ConsEven though I've been diligently using my skincare and applying this product for the past week, my makeup starts to break down within 4-5 hours. And even before that, it starts to look a bit uneven. I usually use a full coverage foundation, so the difference in the formula is probably why I'm noticing more issues with it wearing off and separating. From reading other reviews, it seems like the wear issue can be quite bad for some people, and I can relate to that to some extent. Doing a thorough skincare routine does help it look a bit less messy when it starts to break down, but the whole point of using a sun cushion is to have a quick makeup routine, and that requires less focus on the skincare prep. Also, I'm not sure if it's because of this sun cushion, but I did get one pimple, which is unusual for me.
TipOverall, it's not significantly better than other regular cushions, but the ingredients are good, so I feel reassured. And if you have dry, dehydrated skin, make sure to have a solid skincare routine and finish with a mattifying powder - that seems to help it last longer before breaking down. I normally use shade 21 and it matched my skin tone well. The coverage is medium to high! It covers blemishes and redness well, but doesn't fully cover acne scars and discolored areas. It also has a lot of moisture, so it's dewy but finishes with a semi-matte look, so it applies evenly without leaving any marks on the skin. I think those who like a semi-matte finish will like this. I didn't experience any breakouts, which may be due to the good ingredients.
ConsThe powdery finish caused the pores and uneven texture to be emphasized, which was disappointing. (I think this would work better for those with smooth skin) And while I thought it applied evenly at first, after a little while, I noticed it had caked up and dried out on my skin. Just in case, I layered more skincare the next day, but it was the same story... It doesn't seem to suit my dry skin type. There were quite a few disappointments.
TipI think this would work well for oily to normal skin types, providing a dewy, non-greasy finish.

But it doesn't get cakey much and doesn't transfer too much onto my mask either :) - For the above reasons, I pay a lot of attention to the longevity, and even though I left at 7:30 am and got home at 8 pm, a lot of it was still left, and most importantly, it didn't break down messily! - Most importantly, the skin tone evenness is so pretty ㅠㅠ♡ The better the base, the prettier it gets! - The setting is fast! Great for busy mornings!
Cons- It's not completely transfer-proof on the mask! Using a setting spray can help reduce transfer a bit more. - The coverage is average. If you want really good coverage, you may want to use a concealer product as well. - Since it's a matte formula, if you don't prep the skin well, it can cling to dry patches even on oily skin ㅠ - The fast setting can also be a downside.. If you don't spread it out quickly, it sets in place.
Tip- If you apply a thin layer and let it set, then apply another layer, the coverage will be doubled!

It didn't apply thickly, but thinly, and my skin expression was good. As a combination skin type, the dry areas felt a bit lifted. In terms of longevity, despite wearing a mask these days, it was fine except for the parts that rubbed off on the mask and slightly shifted. And normally, after meals, I only need to retouch the area around my mouth, so I didn't feel the need to retouch other parts of my face. As for coverage, I'm not sure since I applied primer, then concealer, and then the cushion, but it didn't seem weak. The puff applied it well with good adherence. I was worried since I have sensitive skin, but since it's rated 0 for skin irritation, I used it without concern and had no trouble. However, those with sensitive skin should still consider the ingredients and test it. I would repurchase the product when I finish it! And the case is simple, so it's not burdensome to carry around. It's also a bit lower in height than the cushion case I usually use, so it's good for carrying.
ConsFor dry skin, it may feel a bit lifted. But I think it'll be fine if you have a good skincare routine!
TipThis cushion would also be good for those who find it troublesome to apply sunscreen and then cushion. I usually apply sunscreen and then cushion, but this cushion has a high sun protection factor and is a mineral sunscreen product, so you can use it with confidence.

However, I think it would be better if there were a slightly brighter shade. ㅡIt has a semi-matte finish and feels a bit powdery, but it doesn't feel dry, which I liked. ㅡI like that the makeup doesn't get cakey. It applies thinly and builds up well with additional layers. ㅡThe reason I applied for the Hwahae Trial Reviewer program was because of the ingredients, and I'm glad there's no ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate. ㅡThe coverage is quite good. (4th photo) ㅡThe puff shape is not completely round, but has a slightly pointed edge, which was nice for applying around the nose and under the eyes. (2nd photo)
ConsㅡIt has a powdery finish, so there is some emphasis on the skin texture. However, the smooth areas of the skin look nice. ㅡThe breakdown is not the best. It gets more powdery over time, emphasizing the skin texture more, and the dry areas start to flake. The upside is that touch-ups make the makeup a bit thicker, but it goes back to the original state. (3rd photo: Before makeup/Immediately after/6 hours later/After touch-up) ㅡThere is some transfer onto the mask, though not too severe.
TipDry-skinned individuals should ensure a solid skincare routine!

I have dry skin, and there is a drying feeling, but it's not extremely dry to the point of 'so dry!!' - The coverage is decent. When I used it, I thought the color matched my face or was slightly darker, but as you can see in the photo, it covered the reddish acne scars around my mouth quite well. - It's not too dark. I usually use a foundation in shade 21, and this is slightly darker than that. *In my opinion, it has a slightly yellowish tone.
Cons- It doesn't transfer excessively to the mask, but it does transfer a bit. - I'm usually out for 6-7 hours without retouching my makeup, and when I take off the mask, the makeup around my mouth comes off.

But surprisingly, this one didn't cause any additional breakouts! 💙 Color Sometimes there are products where the color just doesn't look good on the skin. But this one blends in nicely and looks great on the skin. 💙 Design I really like the design of this product ㅋㅋㅋ The black color looks clean and pretty. 💙 Zero Darkening You know how a lot of cushion products can get really dark? This one doesn't darken at all! You can just lightly dab it on and it will last well. I think this is the best cushion I've tried so far! I'll definitely buy it again in the summer ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Cons🤍 Dryness Even though I have oily skin, after some time it started to look a bit dry ㅜㅜ These days I've been breaking out on my cheeks from wearing masks, and the dryness accentuates that. Dry-skinned folks should avoid this or make sure your skincare routine is really solid! 🤍 Cakiness It started to look a bit cakey the more I layered it on. But it's fine if you just apply it in thin layers. 🤍 Puff The puff was a bit disappointing ㅜㅜ It doesn't pick up the product very well. I think using a water sponge is much, much better! 🤍 Coverage It covered most of my blemishes, but as you can see in the photo, it didn't fully cover my acne on my cheeks ㅜㅜ You'll need to use a concealer or add more product.
TipHighly recommended for oily skin in the summer! But these days when it's dry, using a water sponge is a must, in my opinion. Make sure your skincare routine is solid ❕
