Well, no, there's no foam and it's not irritating. Not recommended if you have skin irritation. Don't be fooled by the nice-sounding ingredients. When cleansing, you may not notice it at first, but afterwards your face turns bright red, your lips swell up like an allergic reaction, and your skin starts peeling off. Personally, I think the cleansing milk that comes in this line is better. That one is only available through direct purchase, which is a hassle, so I tried this one, and it's neither bad nor good - just a so-so item. The lather does not form well and it feels a bit dry. For combination dehydrated skin types: I received this as a gift with an eye cream purchase, and it's fantastic! Let me list the reasons why I love it: Being slightly acidic, it doesn't strip away all the oil and moisture after cleansing. This results in a non-drying, hydrating finish that I really appreciate. Now that I'm in my 30s, I've noticed that cleansers that completely remove oil and moisture tend to cause deep dryness, which I'm not a fan of. It lathers well with just the right amount of foam, making it easy to rinse off. I'd say it's gentle and relatively fragrance-free. There's hardly any scent at all. It's such a solid choice that I'd definitely repurchase if there's a buy-one-get-one deal or special event! The price... As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I found the cleansing effectiveness to be average. It's gentle, but it just doesn't work for me. It makes my skin feel itchy after cleansing. The scent is also unpleasant. Overall, I'm not impressed with this cleanser at all. No special tips to share. It simply doesn't suit my skin.
