To be honest, there's not much to praise. The brightening moisturizer is slightly better than wearing nothing, but it's not dramatically effective. It's like a subtle correction with a green-tinted sunscreen. The main advantage is its low price, so even if it doesn't work out, you can discard it without feeling guilty. It makes my skin extremely dry. I used it after applying toner, serum, emulsion, moisturizer, and sunscreen. Even with this thorough skincare routine, once I applied this base, my foundation would flake off like snakeskin. At first, I didn't realize this product was the cause. I thought maybe it was winter dryness or mask-wearing, but it turned out to be this culprit. Because of this, I've had to completely remove my makeup with foam cleanser and start over. Oddly enough, when I skip this base, my makeup doesn't flake at all. So I'm planning to either throw it away or sell it online. It's really disappointing. If you're planning to use it as your final step without foundation or BB cream on top, it's not bad. If you're a student who wants a subtle brightening effect for school without it being noticeable, go ahead and buy it. However, if you're considering it as a base under foundation, I'd advise against it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 5, 2022
Excellent for covering redness! The application is smooth, and at just 4000 won, it's incredibly affordable. If there's a The Face Shop near you, it might be worth picking up a tube! For dry skin, it really accentuates dead skin cells. The pilling and emphasis on flaky skin actually make redness appear more pronounced and blotchy. If you use hydrating skincare products, you'll experience less pilling! Also, if you exfoliate with a peeling gel before applying, it won't emphasize dead skin cells. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 14, 2021
Key benefits I've noticed over 3 years: 1. Effectively covers uneven redness and yellow undertones 2. Good value for money considering the quantity 3. Among the products I've used, it's less likely to transfer onto clothes. Drawbacks I've experienced over 3 years: 1. Lacks hydration. About 5 hours after application, my skin feels dry and rough. → As a result, while I had no blemishes before using it, after about a year of use, I developed severe acne and small bumps. 2. Doesn't cover blemishes well 3. Strong fragrance This product can make dry skin even drier, so it's crucial to establish a solid skincare routine beforehand. Providing ample hydration is absolutely essential when using this. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 16, 2020
My mom suggested I try this, and it's perfect for me! My skin tends to be a bit dark, but this brightens it up nicely. I've been using it instead of my usual whitening cream. I'm not sure if it's because of this product, but I've noticed a few blemishes popping up. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 7, 2020
I have a slightly yellowish complexion with a hint of redness on my cheeks, so I bought the mint shade. I was worried because I heard that using a mint shade on yellowish skin can make it look even more yellow, but thankfully that wasn't the case - it actually brightened my skin tone! The texture wasn't thick or heavy, and it absorbed well. After just a few hours, my cheeks turned red and large, visible blemishes appeared out of nowhere. When I removed the product, I noticed my skin had developed a lot of irritation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 27, 2020
I'm currently using this as a neck brightening moisturizer, and it's done a decent job of evening my skin tone. The scent isn't bad either. Overall, I'd say it's pretty good value for the price. I wouldn't recommend this for those with super sensitive skin. When I used it, I broke out in blemishes and my skin reacted badly. I really can't recommend it for those with delicate skin. When applied to the neck, it naturally evens out the complexion. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 13, 2020
It seems to naturally brighten the skin and does a pretty good job of concealing redness. I experienced some blemishes. When I applied it to the redness on my cheeks, my small pimples got a bit worse... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 21, 2020
The price speaks for itself, and the base functionality is quite good for the cost. I'm not sure if the shade was off, but when I applied it to my skin, it looked noticeably cakey. Plus, I experienced more blemishes than usual. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 17, 2020
I have dark skin with redness, but this product worked wonders for me. The color stays put even if someone pinches my cheeks, and the staying power is impressive - it lasts from morning until 10 PM without a hitch! Perhaps because I have super sensitive skin, I noticed my complexion getting slightly worse the more I used it. It wasn't a drastic decline, but there was a noticeable change. For even longer-lasting results, apply this product first, then lightly dab some oil-control powder on your T-zone, cheeks, and chin. It works like a charm! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 18, 2019
It definitely helped control redness! I noticed a difference between wearing makeup with and without it. That's why I used it frequently. The price is affordable, and it's convenient to carry around. The ingredients were really not great... Although I used it often, every time I applied it, my skin felt itchy and tingly. I kept getting blemishes, so I tried going without it for a while, and they stopped appearing. It might vary from person to person, but personally, it wasn't good for my skin.
