Hwahae provides excellent coverage for redness, and also offers a subtle brightening effect. I've been using this product since I was young, and it's perfect for my skin. I used it daily and often thought how great it would be if it had sun protection too. It's great for those with redness-prone skin and applies smoothly. The absorption is excellent. The sun protection factor is low, and it doesn't give that immediate brightening effect. The ingredients don't seem particularly impressive either.

When applied, the mint color isn't as strong as you might expect. It seems to focus on natural brightening, and the finish feels like applying a semi-glow mineral sunscreen. I switched to Real Barrier Cica Green Sun Cream after using this, but this product was also quite good. The best part was its affordability. I was concerned about the ingredients not being particularly gentle, but it didn't cause any blemishes and was generally fine. It's a great product to use as a makeup base to brighten the face. Given its low price, there were a few minor drawbacks. First, although it's a makeup base product, you can't expect pore coverage or primer effects. It's just a product with slight color correction and brightening properties. Also, after a while, there was some darkening and slight settling into pores, which was disappointing. However, touch-ups adhered well, and since I have very oily skin, this issue occurs with most products I use. This is a good product to use in place of sunscreen, and overall it's a decent all-rounder. In the oil blotting paper test, it showed moderate oil control... It seems like a product you can comfortably use daily without worry. I've been using this since middle school, and I think it's the best! It doesn't have any coverage. It just makes your skin look white. I'd recommend it if you have redness issues.

As someone with extremely dry skin, I've had issues with foundation and cushions flaking off. Lately, I've been using only this product, and it's amazing! I tend to have quite a bit of redness, but this really brightens my complexion. It's also quite affordable. The only downside is that it can still pill a little. Even with a small amount, it provides great brightening and coverage while adhering well to the skin. I used it before and decided to repurchase after a while. It's just as good as I remember! It instantly brightens my complexion as if I've turned on a fluorescent light, which makes me feel great! Plus, the price is so reasonable! There's nothing to complain about! Some might say the volume is small, but the price is so affordable that you can easily stock up on multiple tubes. So really, there are no downsides! It absorbs well and effectively reduces facial redness. It blends seamlessly with non-reddened areas too. In midsummer, it can feel a bit rich. Applying powder after use helps manage this.
