I didn't use it daily, but occasionally when my skin felt extremely dry, I used it as a device gel with my at-home LDM device. I also tried it on its own, but I definitely felt the effects were much better when used with the device. The hydration lasts much longer after using this mask. Although it's a wash-off mask and removing it can be a bit of a hassle, so I don't use it too often, I really, really recommend it as an emergency treatment when your skin feels parched and lifeless. The downside when using it as a device gel: To prevent it from drying out during device use, you need to apply it very thickly. Since it's a wash-off mask, it's not only difficult to remove but also quite bothersome. If you're going to apply it anyway, using it with a beauty device makes the hydrating effects much more noticeable. - ab*****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 28, 2025
It feels wonderfully moist when applied. I mainly use it on my legs. I think it might cause blemishes on my face, so I've been using it on my legs instead. - hi********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsFeb 24, 2025
Here's my review after using up the entire jar! I've been applying it generously twice a week, so it didn't last too long. Compared to other wash-off masks, this one feels like applying a moisturizing soothing gel with a jelly-like texture. I love keeping it in the fridge for an extra cooling effect that's so refreshing for the skin! The scent is pleasant and inoffensive too. I'm not sure if it was just my super sensitive skin, but every time I used this, I felt a burning sensation. While it didn't cause any blemishes to appear, I'm hesitant to repurchase it just to be on the safe side. - wo*********Combination SkinRecommendedJan 16, 2025
I usually avoid sheet masks because they tend to fall off, so I opted for this wash-off mask instead. I'm really pleased with it! You can apply it and rinse it off quickly, and it's especially great when used on dry skin. I was on the fence about buying it, but decided to give it a try during a sale. Now I keep repurchasing and using it regularly. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it, and the price is quite reasonable when you buy it on sale. - os*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 7, 2025
I wasn't familiar with the resurrection plant before. After looking it up, I discovered it's a plant with incredible survival abilities, even in desert conditions. Not only does it provide deep hydration to the skin, but it also helps soothe it. I learned about the brand Ohiohoo from YouTube recommendations, and since both the brand and ingredients were new to me, I was hesitant to buy. However, after trying it, I was pleasantly surprised by how good it is. You can really appreciate its true value when using it in summer. It's also great for calming skin that's become irritated from frequent mask-wearing in winter. It's a wash-off mask where you can see the actual plant material. It has a cool, slightly refreshing effect. The texture is gel-like and spreads easily. When cleansing, there might be a slight residue left, so you need to wash thoroughly. Since it's a wash-off mask, it can be a bit of a hassle to rinse off again. The natural scent of the ingredients might not appeal to everyone. - he****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedOct 16, 2024
I bought this hydration mask with resurrection plant extract to boost the absorption of hyaluronic acid. The texture is firm yet not runny, allowing for a generous application on the face. It's perfect for use with beauty devices as it absorbs well without dripping, making it comfortable for facial rolling. After rolling, instead of wiping off the remaining mask with a tissue, I prefer to rinse with water. Even after rinsing, my skin maintains its hydration and doesn't feel dry at all. The included spatula is more stable than any other cream applicator I've used, making it easy to apply the mask and enhancing overall satisfaction with the product. I wish the volume was a bit larger! Since I tend to apply it generously, I ended up buying two at once. Usage tip: While it's fine to simply apply it to your face and leave it on, I think using a beauty device could significantly enhance absorption and effectiveness. Since the resurrection plant extract helps with hyaluronic acid absorption, applying a hyaluronic acid serum before the mask could be great for boosting hydration. - su*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 5, 2024
I'm using it well. I bought it to use with my galvanic device, and I've noticed my skin feels more hydrated after use. It seems a bit pricey... There's not much else to say about it. I'm still using it though! - eu*********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 22, 2024
I'm using this with a galvanic device. The texture is similar to aloe soothing gel, and it adheres well without dripping. I like the herbal scent, which isn't off-putting at all. After use, my skin feels hydrated and my complexion seems a bit clearer. I've almost finished the whole container and plan to keep using it. I'm deducting one star because the quantity is too small for the price. It also takes a bit of time to wash off. - jt****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresJun 4, 2024
It worked great as a mask, and I used it well with my galvanic device for about two weeks Since my skin is extremely sensitive and prone to blemishes, I noticed my face getting warm and turning red while using it. It's disappointing, but I had to stop using it - ro*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 12, 2024
I've found YouTuber Jay's channel incredibly helpful. Being in my late 40s with thin skin, I really wanted to try this. I'm actually relieved that it doesn't have that oddly intense cooling effect you get with some drugstore brands. I use my Medicube device to help it absorb, then after cleansing (which is easy, by the way), I finish with D'Mare ampoule and Aestura. Usually, if I don't apply enough product, my skin feels dry, but this time it felt comfortable without being sticky. The accessibility is inconvenient, and there's a shipping fee too... I kept putting off buying it, but fortunately, I needed a gift for a friend, so I ordered two bottles. There wasn't much else I wanted to order with it. If I want to keep using it, does this mean I have to buy two bottles each time? A thin layer is sufficient
