It's moisturizing and absorbs naturally with a yogurt-like texture that feels rich and plump. It definitely brightens your skin, and even adds a glow! When applied, it makes your skin look incredibly hydrated. Since it has a dewy finish rather than a matte one, those with dry skin will likely find it quite agreeable. Initially, it applies very smoothly and feels comfortable, but the scent is a bit strong. It tends to separate and pill midway through wear, which is disappointing. The staying power is also somewhat weak, which is unfortunately common for brightening moisturizers. It transfers quite easily too. Due to the strong fragrance, it can make your face feel itchy. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMay 23, 2024
The brightening moisturizer gives me a naturally beautiful, fair complexion which I love. I've been using this as my go-to makeup base for about three years now, ever since I first tried it. If you apply too many skincare products underneath, it tends to pill or separate. It only works well when you use just toner or nothing at all underneath. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 16, 2023
It makes my skin look naturally fair, which I love! The price is also reasonable. The staying power is a bit disappointing, and it tends to clump a little. Still, it's a decent product overall. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 21, 2023
For a brightening moisturizer, I was impressed by its long-lasting effect Unfortunately, the cream tends to clump and lacks sufficient coverage - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 12, 2022
I love the baby powder scent, and it seems to absorb well on the skin. However, it's a bit disappointing that if you don't apply it correctly, it can clump and look patchy. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 7, 2022
I'm struggling to find any positives. It's a bit harsh to ask for 20 characters of praise. Absorption: Poor, to say the least. Even with a good skincare base, it's thick and difficult to spread. Skin appearance: It's a disaster - clogging pores, clumping on dry areas, and creating a mess. No amount of patting or spreading helps. I ended up wiping it off with toner-soaked cotton pads and applying something else! I thought I'd at least try it on my neck, but even there it pilled! Maybe it just doesn't suit my skin type particularly well... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 7, 2022
As someone with a summer cool skin tone (shade 17), I'm really satisfied with how beautifully this product evens out my complexion! It's perfect for a foundation-free look. It works great on its own, with impressive staying power. I applied it in the morning, went out, and when I got home at night, although it was slightly patchy, the brightening effect was still noticeable - it had really bonded with my skin! Initially, I was worried about pilling due to its whipped cream-like texture, but it didn't slide around much at all. I used to hesitate buying jar-type products for hygiene reasons, but when I saw this came in a tube, I bought it right away. Somehow, jar packaging for brightening moisturizers always put me off. I definitely recommend getting the tube version! I think it's great value for money too. I got it on sale for about $6! Since I have extremely dry skin, it did clump and flake a bit in some areas, which was disappointing. But that's somewhat expected after layering sunscreen on top of the brightening moisturizer. It's still usable though! If you have dry skin, I recommend thorough skincare before applying this. It felt a bit drying on me, but that's somewhat unavoidable with brightening moisturizers. I might reach for it less in winter, but I'll definitely use it a lot in summer. Personally, I find that applying it with a puff gives a prettier finish than using your hands. I recommend using an air puff for application. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 2, 2022
I love how it naturally brightens my complexion. While it's not without flaws, among the brightening moisturizers I've tried, this one stands out for its hydration, smooth application, and numerous benefits. I'm already on my fifth bottle! Initially, it feels nicely hydrating, but over time it seems to harden, making it difficult to apply evenly. It tends to pill and leaves an overly pale cast... I'm not sure if it's due to my improper use or storage. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinDec 3, 2021
I love how it instantly brightens my skin when applied. It's great that even a small amount gives a natural brightening effect. It's more hydrating than I expected, which is a plus. The scent is pleasant too! Since it's a product you apply with your fingers, keeping it clean can be a bit of a concern. If you apply too much, it tends to clump and can actually rub off, which is a bit disappointing. I'd recommend layering it on gradually in small amounts, as you can achieve a nice brightening effect without using too much product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 16, 2021
I've tried various brightening moisturizers from different brands, but this one tops the list in terms of how it sits on the skin, adherence, color payoff that stays within the lines, and how it doesn't clump or pill. It also doesn't dry out my skin. I've been using it for two years now. In that time, I've gone through two tubes, but it's surprisingly long-lasting as there's quite a bit of product and it doesn't run out quickly. Inevitably, it does wear off after a few hours. If you try to reapply, it tends to look patchy, pill, and clump. It's also a bit on the rich side.
