My skin naturally brightens up, which I love It absorbs well with a lightweight feel I've been using this for years, so I'm disappointed it's been discontinued... - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAug 1, 2024
Based on the natural-looking 21 shade with yellow undertones, it brightens and absorbs well, leaving a moisturized finish without any shine. While it doesn't offer coverage, it's great for a foundation-free look when paired with concealer. The staying power isn't bad, but naturally, as time passes and oil builds up, it darkens about half a shade. Personally, I find it looks even more natural and gives a healthy skin appearance at that point! I haven't tried other brightening moisturizers (and have no plans to switch), so I can't compare, but this is a satisfyingly reliable product. The affordable price is a bonus! There isn't a huge difference between the jar and tube versions, but the texture feels slightly different...? It might just be my imagination, but I felt I used the jar version more effectively. However, for hygiene reasons, I'm currently using the tube version. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 4, 2024
The texture is creamy and absorbs beautifully, while naturally evening out the skin tone It doesn't seem to suit my skin as I'm experiencing some blemishes - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 2, 2024
- Absorbs: Best absorption and most natural finish among products I've tried (Kolmar, Hanskin, White Dress) - Packaging: Convenient tube design, slim shape takes up minimal space - Scent: Brightening moisturizer with a slightly sweet powder and fruity scent, would prefer unscented but satisfied with the fragrance - Weak brightening effect: Due to its natural finish, doesn't visibly brighten skin (shade 19) - Finish: Surface feels powdery but oddly greasy, hasn't caused blemishes yet but doesn't seem ideal for combination dehydrated skin - Longevity: When applied to neck (around shade 23), initially brightens but fades quickly, requiring frequent reapplication - Lacks SPF, best mixed with sunscreen for application - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinOct 27, 2023
The absorbs well and feels smooth on the skin. It naturally brightens your complexion. A little goes a long way. It doesn't provide any coverage at all. I wouldn't recommend this for people with visible pores or severe dead skin cells - it might make these issues more noticeable. For those with dry skin, if you don't have a rigorous skincare routine, it might not sit well. For oily skin types, the finish isn't great - it's like a mix of powdery and greasy? It feels like the skin underneath is dry, but the surface is slightly oily... It's as if you've applied an emulsion without any hydration. (The texture is like a moisturizing emulsion, so it's fine on its own, but since I use a somewhat rich sunscreen, using them together might cause blemishes) => (Update+) I tried it with my sunscreen (I use the pink Missha All Around something), and surprisingly, it balanced out the slightly dry feeling. It works well! Since it absorbs well, you can spread a small amount over a large area. Make sure to squeeze out just a little, and if you want more brightening, you can always layer it. It might be best to apply it in sections, focusing on one part of your face before moving to another. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 30, 2023
It absorbed well and didn't cause any blemishes! The color wasn't bad either... As someone with oily skin, I found the application just right! But, well, I ended up not using it much. Maybe because it felt like a hassle? I found myself reaching for my cushion compact instead... It's just so much more convenient than applying this before going out. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAug 30, 2023
I've often found that brightening moisturizers fall short in their whitening ability, but this product definitely delivers on its brightening promise. It also applies with a matte finish, making it perfect for oily skin types to use year-round. I've lost count of how many times I've repurchased it! While it's a product I'd love to use daily, it's not exactly an easy-wash formula. The slight downside is that it always requires a second cleanse. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 7, 2023
The brightening moisturizer definitely evens out the skin tone and absorbs smoothly, which I really like. Unfortunately, the staying power is quite poor. After just two hours, my complexion returns to its original state. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 20, 2023
Unlike typical brightening moisturizers I've known, this one has a texture like whipped cream. It's fluffy and when applied to the face, its tone-evening effect is remarkable. I was worried the white color might make my skin look ashy, but the lightweight formula adheres to the skin as if it's my natural complexion. A small amount is enough to cover the entire face. When spread out, it absorbs well with a skin-hugging feel. The light texture allows for smooth application even on the neck. There are no drawbacks. I'm using my second bottle. However, the container is a bit inconvenient, so once I finish this, I'll repurchase the tube version. Rather than applying a large amount at once, it's best to use small amounts. Gently press it into the skin while letting it absorb for a beautiful application. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 16, 2023
It absorbs beautifully! Feels like applying a hydrating moisturizer, and it naturally evens out your skin tone. Depending on how you apply your base skincare, it can have a tendency to pill.
