  I bought this as a gift for my dad since his hair loss seemed quite severe. He really loved it, which made me feel great. He's been using it and says his hair has improved a lot, so he's in a much better mood!

  30-year-old male with oily skin. Concerned about hair loss due to grandfather's baldness, so taking preventive measures. Noticed thinning hair and reduced volume compared to early 20s. Currently using Propecia and organic B-complex (a very satisfying combination). Recently bought this Japanese solid shampoo bar after being tempted by a New Year's ad. Highly recommended only for teenagers with extremely oily hair!

Please, if you're worried about hair loss, do not use this product! I beg you to read this review before using it... With my previous routine, I barely lost 30 visible hairs a day. Now, with this shampoo, I'm seeing 30 hairs fall out in the shower alone, and another 20 while drying! This is only suitable for those with extremely oily, greasy hair that smells terrible. Even then, absolutely avoid if you have any hair loss concerns! I'm writing this right after giving it one last try. As I mentioned above, only use this if you're a teenager with excessively oily hair who feels the need to run your fingers through your hair and sniff them just two hours after washing because it already feels greasy and smelly (and even then, not if you're worried about hair loss). Please don't fall for blog advertisements! It seems this isn't even Japanese-made anymore. The Hwahae Testers reviews are spot on.

  Tip

  The feeling is similar to washing your hair with laundry soap - it leaves your hair stiff. If you've bought this and are concerned about hair loss, please don't continue using it just because you've spent money on it. I beg you, use it to wash your feet instead... I stopped using it immediately.

  Pros

  First off, it gives a nice lather when washing my hair. Maybe it's just my imagination, but I feel like my hair condition has improved. I bought it after hearing it was popular in Japan, and I'm satisfied. My scalp itchiness has significantly decreased.

  Cons

  There's definitely a stiff feeling to the hair. If you don't like this sensation, you might want to use a conditioner or rinse after shampooing.

  Tip

  iBeautyLab sells a scalp-focused shampoo brush. I find it works really well when used together with this shampoo.
