  Pros

  At first application, it felt heavy and stuffy, but surprisingly it absorbs quickly and well. I thought it would be sticky, but after absorption, it leaves an amazingly soft and powdery feel. As I have very dry skin, it might not be enough for winter, but it provides sufficient hydration for spring and fall. I have super sensitive skin that often tingles when I apply products incorrectly, but I experienced no such irritation with this. Although I've only used it a few times, my complexion brightens by a shade each time I apply it. Since it's said to strengthen the skin barrier, I plan to use it consistently.

  Cons

  There aren't any particular downsides. The lack of fragrance might be disappointing for those who prefer scented products.

  The effects seem to be amplified when used together with other products from this line (toner, essence).

  Absorbs well and provides long-lasting hydration without feeling sticky. On days when your skin isn't at its best, apply it twice or more, gently patting it in. It works even better than a face mask!

After application, there's no stickiness, and it creates a moisturizing barrier on the skin without causing deep dryness as it absorbs well. Pros: The thin tip allows for easy control of the amount used and ensures hygienic application. I prefer products with good hydration, but having dry skin, I often struggled with quick dryness. However, the Dual Barrier Cream maintains sufficient moisturizing power even as time passes, and it has a light, hydrating feel that isn't heavy, making it pleasant to use.

  As one of The Hwahae Testers, here's my review after using it for a week: When I first tried it, the initial feel was just like a regular cream. What I loved most was that it wasn't sticky at all! I've always disliked sticky creams, but this one was truly non-sticky while still keeping my skin hydrated! It's also fragrance-free, which is great. I had some small blemishes along my jawline, but after using this, they gradually disappeared, leaving my skin smooth! I'm really impressed!

  Cons

  I kept the tube standing upright, but occasionally when squeezing out the cream, it would suddenly spurt out due to air pockets inside. That was a bit disappointing. Other than that, I can't think of any other downsides.

  Tip

  For those with oily skin, I'd recommend applying a thin layer. If you have dry skin, you might want to apply it twice or follow up with a hydrating or moisturizing cream. I have dry skin, so I use this and then apply a moisturizer on top, and it works wonderfully!

Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin (dry U-zone, oily T-zone), super sensitive skin that reacts quickly to unsuitable products, forehead prone to blemishes ✅ Application: The best part! It applies incredibly smoothly with no stickiness or oiliness. After application, the skin feels silky smooth. The next morning during cleansing, my skin feels incredibly soft and smooth, almost like porcelain! ✅ Oil content: Barely noticeable oil, seems to have just the minimum amount needed. Usually, I apply only a tiny amount of cream on my T-zone due to excess oil, but with this cream, I could apply the same amount all over my face without any blemishes appearing. ✅ Packaging: I love the packaging! Not only is it in a convenient tube format, but the transparent opening makes it easy to control the amount and use cleanly. Being able to see the product come out is also very practical! ✅ Scent: It's essentially fragrance-free. I prefer unscented products over those with strange fragrances that can be off-putting. ✅ Ingredients: While water is the main ingredient, I'm satisfied with the gentle ingredients included. Some products with caprylic ingredients have caused blemishes for me in the past, but this one passed the test! It also contains ceramides, which is great. If it had even more ceramides and added hydration, it would be perfect!

  Here's my review after using it for about 10 days. I have combination dehydrated skin with an oily T-zone, dry U-zone, and visible pores. (I applied this product after using Dokdo toner and Torriden serum.) Since this product is meant for dry skin, I initially only applied it to my U-zone. Surprisingly, it wasn't greasy at all and absorbed completely without any stickiness. In fact, I found it so light that I had to layer it 2-3 times before bed due to my skin feeling dry. Even then, it didn't make my skin look oily. I applied a thin layer to my T-zone (except for my nose) and didn't experience any excess oil production. What I appreciated most was that it didn't cause any blemishes or irritation. Previously, my U-zone would get itchy due to dryness, but with consistent use of this product, the itchiness disappeared.

  Cons

  I didn't have any particular issues. As I received this product as part of The Hwahae Testers program, my experience might differ from those who purchased it themselves.

  Tip

  For those with combination skin, I'd recommend starting by applying it only to dry areas, then checking how it works with your skin before lightly spreading it on your T-zone at night. For those with very dry skin, this product alone might not provide enough hydration.
