It's not too thick and absorbs well! The thin nozzle allows for hygienic use and precise application. Recommended for combination to dry skin in fall and winter, it doesn't feel overly moist on the skin but works hard to lock in hydration overnight, making it perfect as a night cream. The texture is similar to Anua cream but thinner! It melts into the skin with a really pleasant application... Though it feels a bit indulgent, I found it's great for dry areas on the body too, which made me realize it's perfect for winter. Despite being a cream, it absorbs well into the skin, which was great for my combination dehydrated skin.
ConsPersonally, although I have dry skin, I prefer transparent water-based creams to slightly thicker formulations like this one, so I gave it 4 points based on my personal preference.
TipI layered it with the noni ampoule and there was no pilling - the textures work well together!

Absorption: It has the perfect consistency - not too thick, not too runny. It spreads smoothly on the skin. As someone who dislikes sticky products, I particularly appreciated how this cream absorbs well without any stickiness. Design: The packaging is a beautiful gray tube with a simple, clean aesthetic. The tube format is hygienic, and the narrow opening helps prevent air from entering. The transparent part allows you to see the product coming out, making it easy to control the amount. Ingredients: While I don't have super sensitive skin, I always check ingredients using the Hwahae app. The ingredient list for this cream looked impressive, which made me excited to try it even before using it. The gentle formulation makes it suitable for those with sensitive skin, but be aware that it contains some pore-clogging ingredients, so it's best to double-check if you're concerned. Scent: It's completely fragrance-free, making it perfect for those who dislike scented products.
ConsFor my dry skin, it felt slightly lightweight. The narrow opening can make it a bit difficult to squeeze out the product, and sometimes when you do, the air inside escapes with a 'puff' sound, causing the product to splatter a bit.
TipIf you have dry skin, try applying two layers or mixing it with a facial oil for better results.

Please note that individual experiences may vary. Recently, due to the changing seasons, my skin has been extremely dry, with dead skin cells even appearing between my eyebrows. Luckily, I won this product in an event and gave it a try! 1. Texture It's slightly thicker than a regular moisturizer. Not too heavy, but it has a bit more viscosity than your average hydrating cream. 2. Scent The fragrance is quite neutral, almost unscented. There's a slight pleasant aroma typical of creams, but it's really not noticeable. 3. Hydration Probably the most crucial aspect - hydration! It's genuinely moisturizing, with a slight richness to it. It's not excessive, so only those with extremely oily skin might want to avoid it. 4. Lasting power Given its slight richness and thicker consistency, the lasting power isn't bad at all. Of course, hydration naturally diminishes over time, but I'd say it's above average in terms of longevity.
ConsIf I had to point out a drawback... the container's opening is shaped like a dropper you'd find in ampoules. This means the product comes out in a thin, long stream rather than all at once. However, it's not particularly inconvenient.
TipNothing much to add, just slather it on your face generously before bed, and your skin won't feel tight even the next day.

I have dry and super sensitive skin, and this product seemed to work well for me! <Application> It's not overly moisturizing nor too thick - just right for easy application! The absorbs well too! <Scent> The scent is almost undetectable, which I really appreciated! <Hydration> After applying, I felt like the hydration lasted for a long time! <Absorption> I'm not a fan of sticky products, but this one absorbs really well when you gently press it into your skin with your palms as instructed. It leaves your skin feeling soft and non-greasy! I absolutely loved this aspect! The instructions were very user-friendly, which was great. The nozzle is shaped like a dropper, making it hygienic and easy to dispense. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product!
ConsThere weren't really any downsides - I loved it so much!
TipJust follow the instructions and you'll get great results!

The texture isn't thick like a night cream, but rather a lightweight cream that feels like an emulsion. After application, it feels refreshing! There's no stickiness, and it absorbs well, making my skin feel comfortable. I also liked the clean packaging design. When you open the box, the instructions are clearly written and easy to understand. At first, I thought the tube's opening was unique, but I realized it's actually quite hygienic. There's less surface area for dust to settle, which is great.
ConsI can't really think of any downsides! However, for those with dry skin, this cream alone might not be enough hydration during winter months.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsAs someone with sensitive, combination dehydrated skin, I found this product easy to use. The small opening allows for precise application, and its lightweight texture absorbs well without feeling greasy. I appreciate that it's fragrance-free, as strong scents can be off-putting even in effective products. After using it for a week, I noticed my skin felt a bit dry twice, so I mixed in some face oil. The next day, my skin felt noticeably firmer.
ConsThe full-size product seems quite expensive, even with a 50% discount. Although it's marketed for dry skin, I found it lacking in hydration despite my oily skin type. I had to mix in a drop or two of face oil. Unfortunately, it contains ingredients that may clog pores for oily skin types. Having high expectations due to the brand's famous noni ampoule, I felt somewhat let down. Regrettably, I probably won't purchase this with my own money in the future.
TipFor extra hydration, try layering with a face oil.

However, I've had no blemishes at all with this product so far! To be honest, I was worried about using it since the brand was unfamiliar to me, but it completely eliminated those concerns! - There was a night when I only used this as my toner + serum + moisturizer. The next morning, my T-zone wasn't greasy at all, though my cheeks felt very slightly dry in some areas. But it wasn't excessively dry either! - I really appreciated the tube packaging and the understated design. The tube was more convenient to use than a jar, and it's more hygienic too! - It's fragrance-free!
ConsWhile it seems gentle and does a good job of providing hydration, that's really all it does... As a Hwahae Tester, I have to be honest. But that doesn't mean it's bad at all!!!! It's very good for skin that suffers from deep dryness.
TipWhen used alone, mixing in a drop or two of 100% jojoba oil made it both moisturizing and hydrating!

Applying as directed and gently pressing with palms, it definitely absorbs well and feels like it's tackling deep dryness! The texture is just right - neither too thick nor too runny As someone who usually gets very oily by morning, I noticed significantly less oil production - to the point where just water cleansing was enough!!!! (This was the best part) Also, during the week I used this, I never felt that tightness or dryness (I only used an exfoliating toner and this cream) Though it's known as a cream for dry skin, I think it would be great to use when skin gets drier in winter If my skin was in better condition, I would have been absolutely thrilled with this cream I'd recommend it to anyone looking to combat deep dryness!!!
ConsIf I had to pick something, it only addresses deep dryness without helping to clear existing blemishes

I really dislike when heavy, moisture-rich creams leave a sticky residue on my pillow or make my hair stick to my face when I toss and turn, but with this product, I can move around freely without worry. Absorption - As light as it applies, it absorbs quickly too! After spreading a thin layer and patting it in, it's already absorbed, leaving my skin soft and smooth. Hydration - As someone with dry and extremely sensitive skin, I often break out if I use creams that are too heavy or don't suit my skin condition. For an accurate review, I only applied the Dual Barrier Skinwearable Cream before bed. However, if you're expecting intense hydration from this product, it might not be the right fit. Despite applying 2-3 thin layers, the moisturizing power doesn't compare to other hydrating creams... which is a bit disappointing. On the bright side, even with multiple applications, it's gentle enough not to irritate my skin. You'll wake up to soft, smooth skin in the morning! Scent and Packaging - It's fragrance-free with a simple case design. Personally, I found the lid a bit inconvenient. It's a twist-open type, but I think a snap-on lid might have been more user-friendly.
ConsFor those seeking intense hydration! Try following this cream with an oil for top-notch skin condition the next day.

My skin is also sensitive, so even slight incompatibility with ingredients can quickly lead to blemishes or small bumps. After using the Dual Barrier Cream morning and night for over a week, here are my thoughts: Absorption: The texture is neither too thick nor too thin, but has a good consistency. When applied to the face, it absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky feeling on the surface. Hydration: It provides sufficient deep hydration, so I didn't feel any dryness. I prefer creams with some oil content rather than just hydration, and this cream has a good oil and moisture balance. Even when I applied a slightly matte base makeup on top, there was no pilling. Ingredients: I always check the ingredients on Hwahae when buying cosmetics. This product seems gentle without any concerning ingredients. It worked well for my skin without causing any blemishes.
ConsIt seems like a decent cream for everyday use. While I can't say my skin transformed into honey-like perfection overnight, it did feel comfortable. So far, I'm using it well, but I wonder if it might be slightly insufficient when the weather gets drier. For those with extremely dry skin, it might be good to add an essence or serum.
TipEven when applying a generous amount of the cream, there's no pilling or lifting. I use about a thumbnail-sized amount morning and evening. It's not heavy, making it perfect to apply before makeup!
