Loreal is well-known for their hair products, right? As I've gotten older, my hair seems to be thinning and falling out more, losing its strength and volume. That's why I cut it to a bob. This functional shampoo lived up to its reputation! It lathers up nicely with rich foam, and the fragrance is absolutely delightful, making hair washing a pleasant experience. With my bob haircut, one sachet was perfect for three washes. The downside is that it contains some potentially harmful ingredients. However, since it's a rinse-off product, fortunately I didn't experience any blemishes or issues. - da********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 19, 2023
Despite its questionable ingredients, Kérastase proves to be a top-tier product if it suits you well! I've been using it for a month, and it's truly the best gentle scalp shampoo for hair loss prevention! After trying other products, I used the new growth serum and Densifique ampoule, loved them, and decided to get the full set with the shampoo. The synergy seems to have doubled! My hair feels softer, and the fragrance suits me perfectly. I'm completely satisfied! Personally, I think I have great chemistry with the Densifique lineup. There's no irritation at all, and I feel my scalp and hair becoming healthier, which is fantastic! The seemingly poor ingredient list on the surface is still concerning. While it works well for me now, I'm unsure about potential side effects after years of use. It seems that for products with definite hair loss prevention effects, we might have to accept some less-than-ideal ingredients. For better results in combating hair loss, try massaging the product into your scalp and leaving it on for 1-2 minutes before rinsing. Due to its ingredients, individual reactions may vary, so it's best to find the application time that works for you. - de*******Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJul 11, 2023
I'm currently using the large size of this product. I have fine, weak hair, so I've been using the Kérastase Bain Genesis shampoo from their volume line for a long time. Recently, I felt like I was losing more hair than before, so I switched to the Bain Densifique shampoo from their scalp care line. There's no doubt that Kérastase is better for hair care than regular shampoos. Even if you use cheaper essences and treatments, just switching to a good shampoo seems to improve your hair and scalp condition by at least 50%. I've tried various Kérastase hair products, but their shampoos are the best. While it's not a cool or refreshing shampoo, you only need a small amount to get a good lather. It cleanses well and smells great... There aren't many downsides. It seems like I'm losing less hair, and when I blow-dry, my hair doesn't necessarily have more volume, but it looks fuller! It also seems to hold styling better. I definitely recommend it! It's not really a downside, but unlike typical scalp products, this one doesn't have any cooling or fresh feeling. Instead, it feels a bit heavy. It's not bad for me since I have a dry scalp, but I'm not sure how it would work for those with oily scalps. (The Genesis line feels lighter.) The scent is luxurious and nice, but it's intense and heavy... Overall, it's not a light and refreshing shampoo. The only real downside is the price... haha! Only available through overseas purchasing... - na********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 23, 2023
The fragrance is pleasant... that's about it. On dry, non-rainy days, it provides decent volume and doesn't irritate the scalp. Strangely, on rainy or humid days, it's a completely different story. My scalp tingles, and worst of all, it absorbs so much moisture that my hair becomes a frizzy, tangled mess. I can't figure out what ingredients make it so unusually sensitive to weather. I've tried countless shampoos, but none have such a drastic difference in performance. It's overpriced and not worth buying. The claims about preventing hair loss are all false. - cm****Normal SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 26, 2023
I feel like I'm losing less hair and my strands seem thicker. The price is a bit steep, which makes me hesitant to purchase it. - sj********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedNov 1, 2021
I know this is designed for fine, weak hair, but I bought the large size and have been using it. To cut to the chase, I've noticed my hair feels stronger, thicker, and I'm shedding less. So when I finish this bottle, I plan to repurchase. It's such a well-known shampoo that I bought it thinking 'might as well give it a try,' but I've seen results, so I'll likely keep using it. The fragrance is subtly elegant - people often ask me what shampoo I'm using. The price is absolutely wicked. I also didn't realize the ingredients were this questionable. It's not as fresh a formula as I expected either. When using this shampoo alone, it makes my hair feel stiff, but oddly doesn't have the same effect on my scalp. Even if you don't use Kérastase products, make sure to use a treatment along with your shampoo. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJul 13, 2021
Among the shampoos I've tried, this one ranks above average. First off, its rich texture produces abundant lather even with just a small amount. The fragrance is also pleasant, making it satisfying to use. Even without using conditioner or treatment separately, it leaves my hair silky smooth. It doesn't compromise on volume either, so I'd say it scores 80 points in all aspects. However, as I have a dry scalp, I wouldn't recommend this to those with oily scalps. The cleansing effectiveness is slightly disappointing. There are so many products with great cleansing power these days, and for those who prefer a refreshing feel or have oily scalps, your hair might start feeling greasy by the afternoon.... The scent is really lovely and long-lasting, so try it on a rainy day. My hair gets slightly wavy on rainy days, so I use this to keep it smooth. Plus, I can enjoy the continuous fragrance, making it perfect for humid weather. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 18, 2021
I'm a big fan of the Densifique ampoule, so I bought this shampoo when I needed a new one. While I can't speak to its anti-hair loss effects, I noticed that during the first few days of use (which happened to be during a seasonal change), I was shedding quite a bit. However, after about two weeks of use, I'm definitely losing less hair. It lathers well, and as someone with a sensitive scalp, I find it very gentle and comfortable to use! The only downside is that, despite being marketed for fine hair, it doesn't provide as much volume as I'd hoped. I used to use the Moroccanoil shampoo for fine hair, and I think that one gave better volume in comparison. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 3, 2021
The cleansing effectiveness is fantastic! I have extremely damaged hair that reaches my waist, and I shampoo in the evening. So, I look for both cleansing power and nourishment. Even with just one wash, the cleansing power is amazing. While it doesn't give that squeaky-clean feeling, there's absolutely no scalp odor or oiliness until the next evening! When rinsing, it feels clean yet leaves my hair soft and tangle-free. I'm very satisfied! The scent is not really my style, unfortunately. I used to love the Extension shampoo with its fresh, sweet apple scent, but Vandencite has a somewhat nauseating, sour perfume-like smell. It's not terrible, just okay, but not to my taste. I usually prefer powdery fragrances. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 15, 2020
The fragrance is lovely and it lathers well! Even though it's not specifically for damaged hair, it leaves my locks feeling so good that I don't need to use conditioner or treatment. Just this shampoo alone does the trick! I tried this because I have thin hair, but as expected, it doesn't seem to have much effect. The cleansing power is a bit weak, and even though I don't have an oily scalp, it leaves my hair feeling slightly greasy. On the plus side, it doesn't dry out my hair. While the ingredients list doesn't look great, it didn't make my skin sensitive or cause any reactions. Overall, the value for money isn't great, so I won't be repurchasing.
