What's unique about this line is that the toner is actually an emulsion. You need to use all three products: the emulsion (toner), milk (emulsion), and cream. I'm obsessed with Hwahae Gokujyun to the point of going to Japan to buy it! First of all, even though it's a lotion, it's incredibly light and applies thinly, absorbing immediately. When you touch your skin, it really clings to it. Also, as a combination and sensitive skin type, products with mild ingredients would often cause me breakouts, but Hwahae, being an overall light and moisturizing product, has never caused me any trouble. And when I apply it and go to sleep, my skin becomes so supple that my makeup applies beautifully - it's truly my holy grail product.
