It's absolutely phenomenal for blackheads! I pump once into my hand and gently roll it over my face. You can instantly feel the sebum being drawn out, rolling under your fingertips! This sensation is why I always come back to the Pyunkang Yul Cleansing Oil, even after trying other cleansing oils. It's truly amazing how it removes sebum immediately upon useㅠ The texture is thinner and lighter compared to other cleansing oils, which might feel a bit runny at first, but you'll quickly get used to it and be able to use it comfortably. I also love how it feels relatively crisp during emulsification, unlike heavier cleansing oils, thanks to its light texture. I've been using this exclusively and recommending it to everyone around me.
ConsHowever, there's one critical flaw... the packaging! Something's wrong with the pump container - as you use it, the product leaks from the pump opening. This makes the floor slippery if you place it on the ground, or leaves your shelf covered in cleansing oil..ㅠㅠ This isn't a case of receiving a defective product - I'm on my 6th or 7th bottle, and every single one leaks. I've been scolded by my mom for making the bathroom floor slippery... Everything else about it is great, but this issue is so inconvenient that I've tried switching to other cleansing oils multiple times...ㅠㅠㅠ But I can't find another cleansing oil that removes sebum as effectively as Pyunkang Yul's, so I end up going back to itㅠㅠㅜ I've resorted to placing a plant saucer under the cleansing oil bottle. Otherwise, the product leaks everywhere, causing disasters!ㅠ If any company representative sees this, please change to a container that doesn't leak ㅜㅜㅜㅜ I wish they would just redesign the packaging ㅠㅠㅜㅜ The cleansing oil itself is perfect - it removes makeup well, effectively draws out sebum, and is great as is! Just change the packaging!!! I hope they release it with new packaging!! (I'm worried the formula might change too...)

Although I don't usually wear heavy makeup, this product removes even eyeliner and mascara without needing a separate eye makeup remover. It's gentle, doesn't cause blemishes, and feels comfortable on the skin. I've tried various oil cleansers, but this one seems to leave the most residue after rinsing with water, which makes me think it's more nourishing. Since I only use products with gentle ingredients for foam cleansing as well, I tend to use a bit more and rinse for longer.
ConsAs mentioned above, it feels like it leaves too much oily residue. The packaging is also very inconvenient. I'm not sure if it's just the one I bought, but every time I pump, oil leaks from the seam and leaves a sticky residue all over the bottle. Because of this, I can't keep it on my bathroom shelf with other cosmetics. Instead, I have to store it on the edge of the bathtub with my body products. The bathtub edge is always oily, so I have to wipe it down every time I shower. I've had to clean the bottle so often that the label has come off, as you can see in the photo.

It's also non-irritating around the eyes, making it easy to use without worry.
ConsThis isn't a deep cleansing oil, just a regular cleansing oil. The cleansing effectiveness is noticeably lower.
TipYou'll need to use a cleansing water as well to complete your routine.

After using this oil followed by a cleansing foam I bought from Pyunkang Yul, my skin feels smooth and comfortable without any tightness after washing.
ConsUnlike other products, it's a bit runny, so it tends to drip when squeezed onto your hand, requiring multiple applications. Other than that, I'm satisfied.

Despite having sensitive skin, I've tried various low pH cleansing oils and balms. However, I always ended up dealing with facial redness, blemishes, and a burning sensation after cleansing. But wow! Even though I started using this product through a Hwahae Testers event, I can't believe I didn't discover it sooner! I've put away all my other cleansing products and now exclusively use Pyunkang Yul! No matter how gentle a cleansing foam I used, double cleansing with other products always left my skin feeling dry and tight. However, the Pyunkang Yul oil is so gentle that it feels moisturizing while cleansing. I immediately checked the ingredients: Avocado oil, olive oil, sweet almond oil, green tea extract - it's packed with natural ingredients! And for those with sensitive skin like me, it contains soothing ingredients like centella asiatica extract and tea tree leaf extract. Maybe that's why I've been able to use it without any blemishes! Honestly, I don't need to say much more! If you have sensitive + dry skin but still feel the need to double cleanse, you absolutely must try the Pyunkang Yul Deep Cleansing Oil!
ConsOne downside is that those who wear heavy makeup might find this cleansing oil alone insufficient. When I tested it on the back of my hand, it seemed a bit lacking in removing eyeliner and long-lasting lip tints. Keep this in mind if you wear a lot of makeup!

But when winter comes, my skin gets so dry deep down that I start using a bit of oil. Normally, I don't wear much makeup, so I just use micellar water or cleansing tissues, followed by a double cleanse. First off, I could use the Pyunkang Yul Deep Cleansing Oil without worry thanks to its incredibly gentle ingredients. I even used it diligently on days without makeup for this review! When squeezed onto the hand, it's surprisingly runny - almost like a cleansing water - to the point where you might worry about wasting it. And there's no scent at all! I gently massaged it to remove makeup, then rinsed with water and finished with a cleanser. Compared to just using a cleanser alone, my skin definitely feels less tight. I've been using it without any blemishes or other issues - it's a solid, reliable product! It's become a staple in my routine that I use well!
ConsIf I had to nitpick, I'd say it's good but just... unremarkable? Nothing to write home about.

I've heard it's less irritating for the skin to thoroughly cleanse with a single product, so I've been consistently using only cleansing oil. This is my first time trying a Pyunkang Yul product, and it's a gentle, fragrance-free cleansing oil that doesn't cause irritation. Compared to my previous cleansing oil, it has a lower density and feels more water-like. After emulsifying and rinsing several times, my skin feels thoroughly cleansed.
ConsI have dry, sensitive skin prone to blemishes. After using this for a few days, I developed many small pimples. I'm not sure if there was an ingredient that didn't agree with me. I stopped using it for a while and went back to my original product, which helped clear things up. Since I didn't experience any other unusual reactions, I suspect there might be an ingredient in this product that doesn't suit my skin!
TipAs mentioned above, I've learned that double or triple cleansing isn't necessarily better. Instead, thoroughly cleansing once with a single product can be less irritating for the skin. I've been using only cleansing oil for a while now. The method I use is to pump the product several times onto dry hands and massage it thoroughly into the skin. Then, I add a bit of water to emulsify the product, which is when most of the sebum dissolves and the deep cleansing occurs. After that, I rinse thoroughly with water multiple times. This method leaves no makeup residue, is less irritating to the skin, and has significantly improved my skin texture.

This is my first time trying a product from Pyunkang Yul, and I'm pleasantly surprised by this deep cleansing oil! It's much better than I expected. The deep cleansing oil is gentle and removes makeup effectively. Unlike some other brands that claim to be gentle but fall short on cleansing effectiveness, this one doesn't disappoint at all. The texture feels lightweight, and after cleansing, it doesn't irritate my pores and leaves my skin feeling fresh.
ConsFor an oil, the texture is surprisingly watery, almost like a cleansing water. When cleansing, the oil tends to run down my forearms.
TipAll you cleansing oil users out there know the drill! Don't forget the emulsification step!

Due to its lightweight nature, you may need to pump it a few times for each use. Its thin texture allows for easy application and smooth rolling during cleansing. The spreadability is excellent. I tested it on lipstick, foundation, and eyeshadow, and it effectively removed all of them. As someone with sensitive skin who prefers minimal rubbing, I was pleased that it cleansed well without requiring excessive massaging. While long-term use will reveal more, it seems to remove sebum effectively and cleanse well. I think I'll continue using it. Since it doesn't cause redness during massage, it might be suitable for those with sensitive skin. The thin consistency also allows for quick emulsification, which shortens the cleansing time - a definite plus!
ConsAfter cleansing, there was a slight slippery residue left, so I had to follow up with a foam cleanser, which was a bit disappointing. Also, the amount dispensed with each pump was rather small, requiring multiple pumps for a thorough cleanse, which was somewhat inconvenient.

Because of this, it doesn't have that overly slippery, heavy feeling typical of oils. Instead, it feels refreshingly light! I usually use cleansing water, not because I particularly like it, but because it's convenient. However, I noticed that cleansing water alone wasn't enough to manage the white sebum in my T-zone, blackheads on my nose, or sebum on my chin. So I started using cleansing oil for specific areas. This product effectively removes sebum like other cleansing oils, but feels lighter, which I'm very satisfied with. The emulsification process also seems quicker due to its refreshing texture. Note that I can't comment on how well it removes point makeup as I use a separate remover for that. ✔Feel/Finish From the first use, I noticed its light texture and refreshing feel. The finish isn't overly oily - it leaves my skin feeling just the right amount of supple. If you're worried about oils being too heavy, I highly recommend this as your first cleansing oil. My previous oil had three ingredients to be cautious of, which made me a bit sad. But this product has completely healthy ingredients, which puts my sensitive skin at ease.
ConsHonestly, no matter how much I think about it, I can't find any downsides to mention. With its great ingredients, I'm even considering repurchasing this cleansing oil.
TipI don't have any grand tips to share, but for those who use cleansing water, emulsion, or wipes like me, I'd recommend using a cleansing oil for targeted sebum and blackhead removal. I've found that nothing beats cleansing oil for getting rid of sebum.
