  Pros

  It's gentle and removes makeup effectively, which I love! While I'm not sure about blackheads, I definitely notice a reduction in whiteheads!

  Cons

  No matter how much I rinse, it leaves a slippery feeling, so I think a second cleanse is necessary

  Hmm, it was just okay for me. I don't plan to repurchase.

  Cons

  I didn't feel like it removed makeup well, and it had no effect on blackheads. Even after using oil and following up with a cleansing foam, there was still residue left on my skin.

  The ingredients are gentle and it removes makeup really well. My skin is quite sensitive, so I usually avoid oil-based products, but this one seems to work well for me.

  When I received the product, the contents had completely leaked out. I was wondering how I'd be able to take it with me when traveling. After rinsing off the oil, there was still a slight oily feeling left on my face. However, it wasn't a big issue since I double cleanse.

  1) Cleansing effectiveness Given the current pandemic, I'm only using sunscreen, brightening moisturizer, eyebrow products, and tints - this cleanser is perfect for removing that light makeup! I was pleasantly surprised by how well it removed everything without irritation... (Maybe my expectations were low! I didn't think this product focused on cleansing power) 2) Fragrance-free I appreciate that they didn't add any artificial cosmetic scents However, the natural oil fragrance is quite strong... it might be polarizing 3) Value for money It seems like a large size for a cleansing oil, and the price is reasonable! I can use it without worrying about the cost 4) Ingredients The brand image and packaging give off a natural vibe. The gentle ingredients make it even better!

  1) Residue after cleansing The application felt heavy (thick), and it was oily during emulsification Especially!! After oil cleansing, I was disappointed to feel a strange oily film/emulsion on my face If you prefer a refreshing finish like me, you'll be let down... 2) Packaging Since cleansing products are usually kept in the bathroom, it's unfortunate that the sticker on the package seems like it would dissolve and flake off when exposed to water! 3) Oily skin As someone with extremely oily skin, I'm very careful about using cleansing oils.... This product seems made for very dry skin as it's quite oily... I could only use it in the dead of winter

  1) It's suitable for daily cleansing and helping with blemishes! Just average overall~~ 2) Make sure to follow up with a foam cleanser, and if possible, those with oily skin should avoid this...stay away...

  As a selected member of The Hwahae Testers, I'm writing this review for combination dehydrated skin types. 1. Cleansing effectiveness Check out the photos for cleansing power! It removed foundation and cushion with just one cleanse. Blush, glitter, eyeshadow, and pencil liners were also thoroughly cleansed in one go. Even long-lasting lip products came off quite well. However, mascara needed two cleanses, while pen and liquid liners weren't completely removed even after two washes. I recommend using a cotton swab for liner residue. 2. Design I value product design highly. The transparent blue bottle with a Pyunkang Yul sticker has a unique, soft texture. While the sticker may come off when wet, the simple design and see-through bottle are definite pluses. 3. Fragrance The scent might be divisive, but despite being sensitive to fragrances, I found it very subtle and pleasant. 4. Texture Its thin consistency is great for removing base makeup like foundation and cushion. I even tested it on palm wrinkles, and it seeped in effectively, cleansing thoroughly.

  Cons

  1. Eye irritation I experienced some eye irritation when removing eye makeup. It's best to use a separate lip and eye remover for eye makeup. 2. Residue I dislike the oily residue left by cleansing oils, and this product did leave some behind. While it's expected from an oil cleanser, this one felt particularly slippery afterwards.

  Tip

  If you dislike oily residue, I recommend following up with a foam cleanser after using this cleansing oil. For blackhead removal, consistent use is key. The lightweight texture of this cleansing oil makes it suitable for oily skin types who enjoy oil cleansers.

  The Pyunkang Yul Cleansing Oil has a thin consistency. Due to its lightweight nature, you may need to pump it a few times for each use. Its thin texture allows for easy application and smooth rolling during cleansing. The spreadability is excellent. I tested it on lipstick, foundation, and eyeshadow, and it effectively removed all of them. As someone with sensitive skin who prefers minimal rubbing, I was pleased that it cleansed well without requiring excessive massaging. While long-term use will reveal more, it seems to remove sebum effectively and cleanse well. I think I'll continue using it. Since it doesn't cause redness during massage, it might be suitable for those with sensitive skin. The thin consistency also allows for quick emulsification, which shortens the cleansing time - a definite plus!

  After cleansing, there was a slight slippery residue left, so I had to follow up with a foam cleanser, which was a bit disappointing. Also, the amount dispensed with each pump was rather small, requiring multiple pumps for a thorough cleanse, which was somewhat inconvenient.

  First off, my skin is combination dehydrated and acne-prone! The packaging is refreshing and absolutely gorgeous. The texture is very fluid, like water, and the scent is natural - it only has that characteristic oil smell without added fragrances, which I actually liked because it seems better for the skin. I found out it's made with minimal, healthy ingredients, avoiding unnecessary colorants or fragrances, which I appreciate. The gentle, non-irritating formula seems perfect even for super sensitive skin! It contains mild cleansing agents like soapwort leaf extract and purslane extract. Jojoba and sunflower seed oils help dissolve impurities in pores, while tea tree and centella extracts soothe irritated skin during cleansing. It also has hyaluronic acid and panthenol to strengthen the moisture barrier. I definitely felt the hydration while cleansing, and while the effect on blemishes wasn't dramatic, they did seem slightly less noticeable. As for cleansing power, I tried it on eyebrows, mascara, glitter, and eyeshadow. It struggled a bit with mascara, but removed everything else completely! Overall, I'd say it cleanses quite effectively.

  The finish isn't fresh - it leaves an oily residue that feels slippery, which is a bit uncomfortable. If you follow up with a foam cleanser it's fine, but I wouldn't recommend using this alone.
