  Pros

  I was delighted that it arrived in pretty paper packaging~! User's skin type: Combination, acne-prone While oils and heavy anti-aging products make my sebum go crazy, this feels light and non-greasy, making it great for combination skin. Scent: Almost unscented, you'd have to stick your nose right in to maybe catch a whiff. Texture: Slightly runny, like a thin gel. Application: Quite lightweight and doesn't feel like it's sitting on top of the skin! However, it does take a bit of time to fully absorb. After application: A luminous effect? It gives a glow that makes your skin look a bit better. But as it dries, it forms a film-like layer. For makeup: It's light enough for nighttime use, but might cause pilling under makeup, so I only use it at night unless my skin is extremely dry.

  Cons

  Like most functional skincare products, I'm not sure about any significant effects... Also, if it dries before being fully absorbed, it leaves a film-like feeling. If you sleep with this coating, the areas where it settled can become all wrinkly, which might be counterproductive... It's similar to how your skin gets wrinkly when you move your face after a peel-off mask has dried.

  Tip

  Try to ensure it's well-absorbed to minimize the film-like effect... I once applied it generously around my eyes before bed and was shocked to find my under-eye area all wrinkled the next morning...

  Pros

  Among the ampoules I've used recently, this one takes the crown for satisfaction! The runny texture is wonderfully hydrating and absorbs well. I can feel my skin texture improving, and there's this sense of deep, firm moisturization that I love. It's perfect for my combination dehydrated skin, especially for morning and evening use in winter.

  Cons

  While the product itself is great, the slightly sticky formula seems to solidify a bit outside the case. Also, since the texture isn't too thin, sometimes the dropper struggles to pick up the product.

  Tip

  Apply a thin layer before your base makeup for that coveted 'honey skin' effect.
