Acne galore. Blackheads are thriving! Color: It's a truly versatile shade 21. For me, it's slightly dark as I have a lighter 21 tone, but it should be a perfect match for those with shade 22 or standard 21. Just note that it might be dark for those with lighter 21 tones. Glow: It gives a subtle glow! Still, it's more luminous than the Zero Cushion. However, the glow doesn't last very long... Pore coverage: When it comes to pore coverage, think Rom&nd! It's excellent at concealing pores. Compared to the Zero Cushion, this one provides a thinner, more natural-looking coverage while Zero Cushion gives a thicker pore coverage. Packaging: Oh my goodness... What's going on with this packaging? It's absolutely stunning! They've really outdone themselves... It's completely ethereal and radiant. Cushion texture: Since this cushion is on the moisturizing side, the cushion itself is super soft and bouncy. It feels great to touch. So satisfying! Overall: While it may be weak in covering redness, its pore coverage is top-notch!
ConsRedness coverage: It's weak when it comes to covering redness... It doesn't hide red blemishes very well. Oxidation: It seems all Rom&nd cushions have oxidation issues. The oxidation is really severe with this one. Moisture: It's not particularly moisturizing. 'Semi-glow' seems to be the most accurate description. It doesn't give much of a glow either. Transfer: Since it's a moisturizing cushion, it does transfer onto masks.

This one has a moisturizing feel that's great for winter use. I tend to apply lightly, so it doesn't transfer much to my mask.
ConsMy skin completely broke out and I'm having a blemish party. Even though people praise its adherence, transfer-resistance, and lack of darkening, I think the ingredients might not be good. I had perfectly clear skin before, but as soon as I used this, I got so many blemishes. It's really stressing me out.

Even though it's a high-coverage cushion, the best part was that it applies thinly. If you pat it on with a puff, it adheres smoothly and thinly to the skin. I was curious about the 'semi-glow' cushion, and the thin, soft application is similar to semi-matte textured cushions. The difference is that it's even less drying. So it seems to be a versatile texture that works well for both oily and dry skin. • Transfer: Romand advertised this cushion as minimizing transfer, and that's true in reality. It doesn't completely prevent transfer, but it transfers about 1/3 as much as other regular cushions on the market. The reduced mask transfer was definitely noticeable and satisfactory. However, there are still some imprint marks where the mask touches the face. • Shade: Judging from how the 22 shade matched my face naturally, the 21 shade may be a bit dark for those who use it. Personally, I liked the yellow-based color tone, but the brightness came out more natural than radiant. Since the texture is already pleasing, adding slightly lighter or darker tone options would be great. Overall, I'm satisfied with this cushion in terms of transfer, longevity, and application. It works well for touch-ups, and the design is pretty, so I'd recommend it.
ConsThe semi-glow texture has a shiny glow, but as someone who prefers a matte skin finish, this glow looked a bit greasy over time. Also, there is some darkening over time. I wish it was a bit more radiant.

It applies in a light layer, so it doesn't feel heavy and transfers less onto masks. The moisturizing formula is thin, creating a beautiful skin finish. The case is also incredibly ethereal and pretty.
ConsThe scent is a bit off... As I have oily skin, when oil builds up, the cushion's smell becomes more noticeable and quite strong. Also, it doesn't seem to adhere to the skin very well. It pills a little. After continued use, I've noticed significant darkening. While it looks perfect when first applied, I'm shocked to see how dark it becomes after a short while when I check in the mirror.

The top of the case even has a motion that mimics the gentle swaying of hanbok in the breeze! The case is absolutely stunning. Fragrance: As soon as it touches the skin, the floral scent is impressive! It reminds me of roses! While the fragrance might be a matter of personal preference, it's not overpowering during daily use. Plus, it dissipates quicker than expected! Hydration and Glow: When applied, you can feel a cooling effect along with instant hydration! I expected it to be a glowy type, but instead of an intense shine, it provides a subtle moisturizing effect with a gentle glow. Unlike many glowy cushions that turn oily over time, this one maintained its subtle radiance even after 8 hours, even on my oily skin! Puff: The puff has a triangular tip perfect for reaching tricky areas like around the nose. It applies the cushion seamlessly even in tight spots! Also, it's the type of puff that releases product easily when tapped. Adherence: The adherence is surprisingly good! It feels like it instantly bonds with your skin. The closest similar base product I've tried is the Giverny Milchak Cover Foundation. Pore Coverage: This is one of the cushion's greatest strengths! It covers pores exceptionally well! Especially in areas with larger pores like the T-zone, it fills and adheres seamlessly, making pores virtually disappear! The coverage is truly impressive.
ConsCaking and Clumping: Being a glowy type, some caking is unavoidable. In my case, it was most noticeable on both sides of my nose and between my nose and upper lip. It seemed to clump slightly, as if not blending well with the skin's natural oils in certain areas. However, this was easily fixed with touch-ups! Darkening: There was a slight darkening effect. After about 8 hours of wear, it seemed to have adjusted to match my natural skin tone more closely. Application Technique: Due to its quick-adhering nature, precise application is crucial. Applying too much at once can result in an uneven finish, so this product doesn't work well with the 'apply a lot and blend' method. It's best to apply small amounts gradually. Coverage: I'd say the coverage is medium. It wasn't quite enough to conceal darker blemishes. However, it did tend to emphasize blackheads on the nose as it settled over time.
TipThe mask-wearing test was conducted for approximately 4 hours!

It gives a subtle glow, so I set it with some powder. What I really appreciate is how beautifully it wears throughout the day. It definitely has better staying power than the Zero Cushion.
ConsThe longevity isn't quite as impressive as I'd hoped. While it doesn't break down terribly over time, I did notice some darkening. It's good, but I wouldn't call it my holy grail cushion foundation.
TipPro tip: Use it with Urban Decay's makeup setting spray for much longer-lasting wear!
