It doesn't cause itching, and even after some time, there are no blemishes - just a comfortable feeling. The pores are naturally covered with just a light touch, and it does a decent job of concealing redness. My skin has texture issues, sunken scars, and lots of visible pores, so perfect coverage isn't really possible. That's why I appreciate the natural, not-too-heavy coverage this provides. I'm satisfied in that regard. The packaging is ethereally beautiful. It looks luxurious, making it a great gift option.
ConsThe built-in puff doesn't seem to be that great. If you don't apply it over a solid skincare base, it can look patchy. It tends to emphasize dead skin cells and peach fuzz. Also, the ingredients list could be better. It would be nice if it came in a wider range of shades.
TipIt's necessary to smooth out your skin texture with a cotton pad before application. Applying thin, hydrating skincare underneath seems to reduce pilling.

My skin isn't super sensitive, so I rarely have reactions to ingredients. I don't wear much makeup, just a light layer of brightening moisturizer. I usually use VDL Foundation A01 and prefer matte finishes. I absolutely love the eco-friendly paper packaging! It's great to see Rom&nd adapting to environmentally conscious trends - it really makes me like the brand even more! Regarding ingredients, I was cautious about trying a new cushion brand after having a bad reaction to Clio's Kill Cover cushion. Thankfully, I had no issues with Rom&nd's cushion! I rarely get small blemishes from foundations or cushions, so keep that in mind! The color has a slight grayish tone on my skin, which could be great for those with redness or blemishes. I have a darker complexion but prefer a brighter look, so I usually go for shades lighter than 21. This cushion isn't particularly light - think of it as a grayish 21. As for mask transfer, I apply a very thin layer and it goes on smoothly. It doesn't transfer much to my mask at all!
ConsThe built-in puff tends to leave marks. I thought its slightly cut design would be good for the nose area, but it actually left imprints. I switched to a 2000 won puff from Olive Young that I usually use for makeup. Inevitable mask-related issues in these times - the foundation doesn't wear well under a mask. It gets humid inside, causing unattractive breakdown. Oil builds up around the nose, and the product settles into smile lines. This doesn't usually happen to me, but it did with this cushion. However, the forehead and eye areas not covered by the mask stayed clean with just a bit of shine. It claims to be matte, but gets oily. I work in a cafe with constant heating. While it initially finishes with a powdery feel, after about 2 hours at work, it gets oilier faster than my usual foundation days. This is somewhat expected when comparing foundations to cushions. The slight oiliness might actually be perfect for touch-ups!

First off, the case is absolutely stunning. It's so beautiful that you'll want to show it off everywhere you go. The hanbok-inspired design gives it an iridescent, mother-of-pearl look that's simply gorgeous. One of the best features is how well it stays put under a mask. When you're rushing to get ready in the morning and need to throw on a mask after applying your makeup, this cushion won't let you down. Unlike other products that leave embarrassing smudges on your mask, this one stays put remarkably well. While it's not 100% transfer-proof, the difference is night and day compared to other cushions. The adherence is top-notch! The coverage is natural yet effective. Many high-coverage products can look cakey and emphasize dry patches, especially during the winter when heaters are blasting. But not this one! It provides great coverage while still giving your skin a radiant glow, making it look hydrated rather than dry. Lastly, after using it daily for about 2-3 weeks, there's been no darkening of the skin. It's a win all around!
ConsThere are a couple of minor issues to note. The puff is slightly too large for its designated storage space, making it tricky to close the compact if you're not careful. Also, the hinge of the puff storage compartment seems to be made of a rubber-like material, making it a bit wobbly. While this might be intentional, it feels a tad flimsy.
TipPro tip: While the Romand cushion already minimizes transfer onto masks, you can further reduce it by applying some powder to your nose bridge and cheekbone areas before putting on your mask. If you're in a rush, simply applying your makeup and letting it set while you do your hair can also help reduce transfer, though not as effectively as using powder.

(wow) If I had applied it all over as usual, my makeup would have been ruined This one! I love that it can cover a wide area even with just a small amount. I can't believe the coverage is this good... It doesn't transfer much even with a mask on, so you can finish your entire base with just this! So convenient and covers everything! Adherence Among dewy cushions, ones like the MAC Strobe Cushion felt a bit lacking in adherence for me, so I switched to solid cushions. But the rom&nd Clear Cushion gives a subtle glow while having great coverage as mentioned above, and the adherence is top-notch! It's easily in the top 3 for adherence among all the cushions I've tried Longevity Even with a mask on, it looks almost the same as when I left home! With previous cushions, due to wearing masks for long periods because of COVID, they would come off quickly and cause darkening, making my complexion look dull.. But this one has great longevity and gives a bright color that doesn't darken over time~ Hydration/Moisture As someone who's tried rom&nd's foundation and Zero Cushion before, for my skin! The rom&nd Clear Cover Cushion suits me better!! :) My usual favorite cushion is Gyeon Mi-ri... I'm a cushion nomad and always end up going back to what I used before! Especially in winter, I tend to get a lot of pilling or sliding, making my skin look messy! But the rom&nd Clear Cover Cushion feels so hydrating and moisturizing that I'm more satisfied with it than the Zero Cushion I used before! That's probably why the color payoff is so good too!
ConsThe puff included with the cushion isn't as good as the one from rom&nd's Zero Cushion,, I'm not sure why though... But like the puffs in recently released cushion products, I like that one side has an edge for precise application on areas like the nose or facial features!! Perfect radiance is difficult... It's more of a subtle glow.. Maybe it's because the weather has gotten dry and so has my skin, but the glow is more subtle than I expected... Since the coverage is good, I guess I'll have to use it while keeping in mind that the glow might be lacking..!
Tip[Longevity Pro Tips] 1. It doesn't transfer to masks as much as other cushions!! When using it for touch-ups, try letting your skin dry for 1-2 minutes before putting on your mask! :) 2. For those who find that the hydrating Clear Cover Cushion still looks cakey(?) due to dry weather, if you focus on a solid skincare routine before applying, it shouldn't break down quickly at all! 3. When I feel like a cushion that's perfect for me is lacking in longevity, I use Urban Decay's setting spray before going out! :) Since that one's expensive, I also recommend Olive Young's So Natural All Day Fixer for a more budget-friendly option...!
