Even though it's a high-coverage cushion, the best part was that it applies thinly. If you pat it on with a puff, it adheres smoothly and thinly to the skin. I was curious about the 'semi-glow' cushion, and the thin, soft application is similar to semi-matte textured cushions. The difference is that it's even less drying. So it seems to be a versatile texture that works well for both oily and dry skin. • Transfer: Romand advertised this cushion as minimizing transfer, and that's true in reality. It doesn't completely prevent transfer, but it transfers about 1/3 as much as other regular cushions on the market. The reduced mask transfer was definitely noticeable and satisfactory. However, there are still some imprint marks where the mask touches the face. • Shade: Judging from how the 22 shade matched my face naturally, the 21 shade may be a bit dark for those who use it. Personally, I liked the yellow-based color tone, but the brightness came out more natural than radiant. Since the texture is already pleasing, adding slightly lighter or darker tone options would be great. Overall, I'm satisfied with this cushion in terms of transfer, longevity, and application. It works well for touch-ups, and the design is pretty, so I'd recommend it.
ConsThe semi-glow texture has a shiny glow, but as someone who prefers a matte skin finish, this glow looked a bit greasy over time. Also, there is some darkening over time. I wish it was a bit more radiant.

So I went on a hunt for a new cushion. I focused on cushions for combination dehydrated skin and pore coverage, and chose this one based on great Hwahae ratings and YouTube reviews. I tested it at Olive Young! The reviews highlighted: Pros: Excellent pore coverage, suitable for combination dehydrated skin, not too drying with a slight glow Cons: Transfers to masks easily, comes off when pressed after a while - suggesting poor adherence? Testing at Olive Young, I was amazed at its pore coverage - best I've ever tried! My sister loved it too. It made skin texture look beautiful by hiding pores. When I got home that evening, the test area on my forehead hadn't broken down and had a slight oiliness that made my skin look even prettier. I knew this was the one and bought it right away! ⭐️ After using it: Skin feel: Works great for my combination dehydrated skin. Doesn't feel dry at all when applied, feels fresh while maintaining the hydration from skincare. Allows for a subtle glow. Coverage: Pretty good. You'd have to sacrifice hydration for extreme coverage, so this is a nice balance. Covers basic redness, but you'll need concealer for darker spots. Oil control: Some oil comes through over time, so might not suit very oily skin. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I prefer some oiliness to dryness, so it's great with some powder. Even when it gets oily, it breaks down nicely. Shade: I usually use 21, but it looks a bit pale on my reddish skin. I considered 23 this time, but stuck with 21. If you have redness and aren't very fair, 23 might work well if you just brighten the butterfly and T-zones. That's my personal tip! But I'm sticking with 21 for convenience.
ConsAdherence: Many reviews mentioned it transfers to masks a lot. My sister said it transferred terribly after wearing it for a while, much worse than other products. The makeup came off completely where the mask touched. I tried applying powder just on the butterfly zone where the mask touches, which seemed to help, but I'll update after more use. + As the weather got warmer, it seems to transfer to masks even more. The makeup completely slides off where the mask touches. This might be its biggest drawback. Darkening: It seems to darken slightly. By evening, it looks a bit dull. But this can depend a lot on skin condition, so I'll keep observing.
TipI've been searching for a product that's not drying, low in oil, covers pores well, and has good coverage - and I think I've found it! I'm so excited about this holy grail product that I left a long review. Now they need to release refills! And the case is so pretty!!!!! + Combining it with foundation (I use Estée Lauder) works amazingly well! Apply foundation as a base, then lightly cover redness and areas you want to brighten with the cushion. It stays fresh and radiant until evening. This is its best feature! Plus, it covers pores so well and makes skin texture look beautiful. However, even with a thin layer, it still transfers to masks a lot, so I finish with powder, but it's still not enough... More solutions needed... Also, when touching up, it can clump over the powder. I need to find a better way to deal with this. But despite these issues, I keep reaching for it!!! So satisfied!

Cons- Coverage is not very strong - Lighter than my complexion (not a con if you prefer a brighter look. Personally, I prefer a more natural skin tone) - No refill option - May settle into lines if the mouth area is very dry
TipFor best results, focus on hydration in your skincare routine before applying, and use a thin layer. If you have dry skin like me, you might not even need powder. It's better to let it set before putting on a mask rather than immediately after application.

It's ideal for winter use!! The coverage is great and it doesn't settle into fine lines, so I've been using it daily lately.
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that it transfers onto masks.

However, this product is a game-changer! It provides excellent coverage while keeping my skin hydrated, making it perfect for those days when my complexion needs extra help. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous, and its compact size makes it super convenient to carry around.
ConsThe limited shade range makes it challenging to find a perfect match for your complexion. It's not the best product if you're aiming for a natural skin-like finish.
TipSurprisingly, it doesn't give as much of a glow as you might expect. In fact, if you don't apply your skincare properly beforehand, it can actually feel quite drying. For those with deep dryness or very dry skin, make sure to layer your skincare products thoroughly before using this cushion.

However, this new Clear Cover Cushion doesn't have that tightness. It fills in pores nicely and doesn't clump. After wearing it for a long time, I've found that it fades beautifully.
ConsIt transfers slightly onto masks, but I don't really mind it much.

Effectively conceals blemishes. No settling into pores. Not the slightest hint of dryness - it's hydration personified.
ConsThe longevity is disappointing - in less than two hours, while the pores still appear filled, the color seems to fade. It's hard to describe precisely. Unfortunately, it does transfer onto masks. Though it transfers less than other products, it still does to some extent.

The best part was that it didn't emphasize dead skin cells. I chose shade 21 thinking it would be the most versatile, and it worked well without giving a pale appearance. While many reviews mentioned weak coverage, I prefer a natural look, so I didn't notice this issue. The color coverage was dramatic, and since I don't have many blemishes, I'm not sure how much coverage is considered good. That said, I'm satisfied with the coverage it provides. I'll definitely repurchase when I run out!
ConsIt would be great if it came in a wider range of shades! Also, including an extra puff would be a nice touch.

Also, it provided good coverage with just a small amount, allowing me to do my makeup quickly when in a hurry. It's an excellent product for those times when you need a simple makeup routine! Despite my oily combination skin, it didn't feel particularly greasy. While those with extremely oily skin might prefer very dry foundations or cushions, I think this product's balanced oil content makes it appealing and easy to use for most people.
ConsWhile it takes a long time before the makeup starts to break down, when it does, it's not entirely satisfactory. It felt like the foundation was clinging to my pores as it wore off, which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, I didn't have any major issues with the product.
TipEven when the makeup does start to wear off, it doesn't completely fall apart. You can easily touch it up with a powdery product to restore its appearance. When doing touch-ups, it's best to lightly cover with a compact powder or loose powder.

If I'm not careful with my skincare routine, my makeup can easily flake off, so I'm always very cautious when choosing cushion foundations. That's why I don't switch cushions often. This time, I was lucky enough to be selected as a Hwahae Tester and got to try the rom&nd cushion foundation. Firstly, this cushion does an amazing job at covering pores! It's not too drying for combination dehydrated skin, nor is it overly rich in oils. I usually go for lighter shades when buying cushions, so I was worried shade #2 might be too dark. But when I applied it, the color was beautiful and matched my skin perfectly!
ConsThe formula sets quickly, which made it a bit tricky to blend smoothly. It might not be the best option for touch-ups throughout the day (though I'm still satisfied with how beautiful it looks on initial application!).
TipFor those with dry skin, this might feel a bit drying. If you have dry skin, make sure to prep your skin well with hydrating skincare. While the color is gorgeous and it covers pores wonderfully on initial application, given the cold weather lately, I'd recommend using a more hydrating cushion for touch-ups. (This is just my personal opinion as someone with combination dehydrated skin!)
