The cooling effect is tremendous. The salt component is quite evident - it stings a lot if it gets in your eyes, and you can taste the saltiness if it gets in your mouth. This seems to help with exfoliating well, but since I haven't tried other scalers, it's hard to make a comparison. Still, the cooling effect leaves me feeling refreshed. The generous amount suggests it will last a long time.
Cons
It says to use it instead of shampoo, but... if I don't use regular shampoo, my hair gets really stiff and... it feels like I didn't rinse it properly and it gets very itchy. The amount is a lot, so I'll use it diligently, but I'm not sure if I'll repurchase it.

Wow... what is this~~~~??? Why didn't anyone tell me about this refreshing scalp culture... Seriously.... It's really cool. All the old dead skin is washed away, and I feel like I've been reborn with a fresh scalp. Due to hormones, my hair was getting very oily and it seemed like there was an odor coming from the crown of my head, but after using it, the shampoo scent lingers when I dry my hair! 1. For oily skin, it's great to use about 2 times a week! The residue that wasn't getting cleaned with just shampoo is now removed.
