I've been using this product for about 5-6 months due to severe dead skin cells on my scalp, and wow! First off, it's incredibly refreshing! The shampoo contains something like a scrub that gives an amazing sensation of massaging and deep-cleaning your pores. After using it, the redness on my scalp and flakiness have noticeably decreased! For those of you struggling with flaky scalp issues, I highly recommend giving this product a try. Oh, and the scent is quite pleasant too! The main drawback is the price... It's quite expensive for the amount you get. While it worked well for me, those with sensitive scalps might find the scrub a bit irritating. The instructions say to use it every other day, but I'd suggest adjusting the frequency based on your individual scalp condition. - yo**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJun 4, 2025
I recently read that a buildup of dead skin cells on the scalp can lead to odor at the crown, so I decided to try this popular product for scalp exfoliation. It's known for its Dead Sea salt content, which is supposed to effectively remove stubborn dead skin cells with a refreshing sensation. The instructions even mentioned it could be used in place of shampoo, so I gave that a try... After rinsing thoroughly and attempting to dry my hair, I immediately felt like I had just emerged from the ocean - my hair was incredibly sticky. It was as if I had just stepped out of the salty sea and tried to dry my hair right away. Thinking I might have used it incorrectly, I tried several more times, but the sticky texture persisted. Eventually, I found that using the scalp scaler followed by a thorough shampoo was the only way to somewhat alleviate the stickiness. To prevent this issue, I tried to scrub diligently and rinse extensively, but the scalp odor remained, and I didn't notice any reduction in oiliness as claimed. I wonder if my long hair makes it inherently more difficult to rinse out completely. If you have long hair like me, you might find the rinsing process quite challenging. That's why I recommend using the scalp scaler followed by shampoo. Interestingly, a family member who tried it found it refreshingly pleasant. It seems that hair length can significantly impact the user experience with this product. - ky*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 2, 2025
I've been struggling with severe seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp, which led to nearly a month of hospital visits... ๐ข I really wanted to grow out my hair beautifully, but due to the scalp inflammation, I had to hold back tears and get a short haircut. The doctor advised me to do scalp treatments like exfoliation and use moisturizers for scalp care. After watching some videos online, I decided to purchase this product. Before using it, my scalp was covered in yellow sebum buildup that would come off with my hair, but now I hardly see any of those yellow clumps. That's why I keep repurchasing it whenever I run out! For those of you dealing with seborrheic dermatitis, I absolutely implore you to give this a try! From my perspective, the lid seems a bit flimsy... Use about a coin-sized amount and focus on exfoliating the scalp! And for those who are impatient like me, don't rinse it off right away! Just give it enough time for the scalp buildup to loosen up. If you do that, you can say goodbye to seborrheic dermatitis! - hs******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 1, 2025
After struggling with excessive dead skin cells on my scalp, I finally decided to give this a try. The thin nozzle made it easy to apply directly to the scalp. It feels incredibly refreshing, perfect for summer! Since using this, the stubborn dead skin cells on my scalp have disappeared. When I rinse it out like shampoo, it leaves a cool sensation and seems to improve my hair texture. It's great for using about once a week. Those with sensitive skin or a delicate scalp might find this product irritating. The formula seems to have some potential for irritation. As I'm still getting used to it, I find it a bit challenging to apply to the back of my head. Unlike shampoo, you have to squeeze it directly onto your scalp, and it's tricky to gauge the right amount. I suppose I'll get the hang of it eventually. Apply evenly along the parting lines while looking in a mirror. - kn*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 1, 2025
I use this when I want to exfoliate my scalp. It contains salt granules that dissolve quickly. It lathers well and effectively removes dead skin cells from the scalp. If you have a sensitive scalp, this might be too harsh! I won't be repurchasing and will try a different product instead. - w8********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 17, 2025
I bought this based on a recommendation from a girl who used to work at Olive Young. I mentioned how my hair gets greasy quickly and I've been losing a lot of hair lately, and she suggested this product. I've been using it twice a week instead of shampoo. It has little granules and some potent ingredients, so it leaves my scalp feeling much fresher after washing. Since I started using it, my hair gets less greasy, and while I'm not sure about the hair loss yet, I think it'll be even more effective during the summer months. It can make your hair feel a bit stiff, so you might want to use an additional hair mask or treatment to maintain that silky smooth texture. Other than that, I don't have any complaints so far. - a0**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 3, 2025
I bought this for scalp scaling because my scalp gets itchy and develops dead skin cells even if I skip washing for just one day. (Of course, I wash my hair daily except in unavoidable situations!) The coarse salt particles really scrub the scalp, which feels incredibly refreshing! There's even a cooling effect while rinsing. I use it once a week as a preventive measure since scalp scaling is said to be effective for hair loss too. Nothing negative to say! This is my first time trying a scaling shampoo, and I'm quite satisfied with it. To use, I work the particles into my scalp with my fingertips and massage. I think using it once or twice a week is appropriate, rather than too frequently. It's also great for a thorough scalp cleanse after situations where it's difficult to wash for a long time, like after hospitalization or surgery. - bj*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 8, 2025
I started using this product on a friend's recommendation due to frequent scalp itching, and I'm quite satisfied. You apply it to wet hair and massage with your fingertips. At first, I was puzzled by the granules, but as they dissolve, they create a foam that gives a refreshing sensation. It feels like you're exfoliating your face, but for your scalp! I use it about once a week, and it has resolved my itching issues. Highly recommended! I felt the granules were a bit large, and the price is slightly on the higher side. Overall, though, I'm satisfied with the product. For economical use and even distribution, try applying about 2 cm of product in small, spaced-out amounts along your parting line. - la*****Oily SkinRecommendedFeb 28, 2025
It seems to be excellent for seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp. I highly recommend it! There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. I'm curious if their other products are this good too.
