I use this when I want to exfoliate my scalp. It contains salt granules that dissolve quickly. It lathers well and effectively removes dead skin cells from the scalp.

I bought this based on a recommendation from a girl who used to work at Olive Young. I mentioned how my hair gets greasy quickly and I've been losing a lot of hair lately, and she suggested this product. I've been using it twice a week instead of shampoo. It has little granules and some potent ingredients, so it leaves my scalp feeling much fresher after washing. Since I started using it, my hair gets less greasy, and while I'm not sure about the hair loss yet, I think it'll be even more effective during the summer months.

To use, I work the particles into my scalp with my fingertips and massage. I think using it once or twice a week is appropriate, rather than too frequently. It's also great for a thorough scalp cleanse after situations where it's difficult to wash for a long time, like after hospitalization or surgery.

I follow the instructions and first wet my hair with water, then squeeze out this product and apply it evenly to my scalp. After about 3 minutes, I rinse it off with water. I don't need to shampoo, but I'm also using the Dr. Polygen shampoo (I've been using the shampoo for 4 years now) about 2-3 times a week.

Be careful not to get it in your eyes when rinsing with water.
