Is this some kind of revolution...? Even when I soaked my lips with Vaseline and wiped off the dead skin cells, they were still desert-like with flakes intact. But with this, I finally understood what they meant by 'soak and remove'. After applying it and sleeping, the next morning when I washed it off with water, the dead skin cells just came off. It's really amazing! There's no stickiness, it feels fresh, but the surface has a rich glow. You can truly achieve moisturized, smooth lips without any flakes. It's absolutely fantastic! As you use it, there might be some pilling? I'm not really sure though. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJun 21, 2020
This is the only lip balm I've used twice and stocked up on a third. It's non-irritating and absorbs well, so when I apply it before bed, I wake up with all my dead skin cells on my lips completely gone. Since using Dr. Belmeur's lip balm, my lips never have a chance to get dry. There's not really anything to complain about, but if I had to pick one thing, it's that the balm softens and gets mushy quickly on hot days. Apart from that, it's fantastic. When you apply Dr. Belmeur lip balm and then layer tint or lipstick over it, your lips feel less dry and the color looks softer. If you have a lot of dead skin cells on your lips, apply a generous amount before bed, and you'll wake up to smooth lips. I highly recommend it for those with super sensitive skin. The price point is a bit high, but it's great to buy during sales. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinFeb 26, 2019
As someone with very flaky lips, I've found that if I neglect them even for a day, they crack immediately. That's why I carry this lip balm everywhere and apply it constantly. After using two tubes, here are my thoughts: First off, it's firmer than other lip balms. It might feel a bit hard when you first apply it, as if you're melting it with your lip temperature. But I like that it doesn't feel greasy or sticky on the lips due to its firmness. It's fragrance-free, which I appreciate. There's no scent at all! The quantity is generous (in my opinion), but since I apply it frequently, I go through a tube in about a month to a month and a half. What I really love is how it transforms matte lipsticks. If you apply this over a matte tint, it gives a beautiful, dewy finish. It's like magic! The area around the opening of the tube can get messy easily. If you apply too much pressure, the lip balm can get squished, and once that happens, it's hard to reshape it. You need to apply it gently! Pro tip: At night, slather on a thick layer. In the morning, gently rub your lips with a cotton swab - dead skin cells will come right off!
