It's so convenient to use - just twist and apply for instant hydration. It feels like I've used it up quickly, and the packaging seems a bit oversized...? - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 3, 2022
I've used 5 bottles of this product! After trying various options, I've finally settled on this one. It's incredibly hydrating and keeps my skin feeling so moisturized. I can't think of any downsides while using this product! Apply it before bed, and in the morning, either rinse with warm water or gently wipe with toner. It even helps remove dead skin cells from your lips! Thanks to this, my lips have become soft and smooth. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 16, 2022
I'm not a fan of applying sticky products to my lips, so I've struggled to settle on a lip balm and have tried many. The Daily Repair Lip Balm is fantastic because it's moisturizing yet doesn't leave a sticky finish. Among stick lip balms, it's truly one of the most hydrating. I also love that it's fragrance-free! There's honestly nothing to complain about, but if I had to nitpick, I'd say it's not exactly cheap at full price...? The Face Shop has monthly sales, so make sure to buy during those periods! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 24, 2021
My lips were prone to chapping, so I tried various products. This one kept my lips moisturized and I used it with great satisfaction. I can't really think of any particular drawbacks. There's nothing specific that I found disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 7, 2021
This is my beloved lip balm. I've been using it consistently since seeing it win first place in a Get It Beauty blind test. It absorbs well, leaving my lips moisturized, and I love that it's fragrance-free. The hydration lasts longer than most other products I've tried. The reason I deducted one point is because it contains phenoxyethanol, which I don't think is appropriate for a lip balm. I understand it might be unavoidable in lip products, but it's still disappointing. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinOct 16, 2021
Unlike other lip balms that dry out within minutes, this one keeps my lips moisturized for a good half hour or more. However, after about 30 minutes, it does start to dry out, so you need to reapply frequently. I've found that applying a thin layer of this lip balm before putting on lipstick seems to make my lip makeup look better and last longer. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinSep 16, 2021
Being fragrance-free, it can be applied frequently throughout the day. It provides a perfect balance of hydration and rich moisture without feeling greasy. The price point is also quite reasonable. None. I believe lip balms are products that naturally require frequent reapplication. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 12, 2021
After hearing about its #1 ranking on Hwahae, I decided to give it a try and bought a couple. I loved it so much that now I buy 8 at a time! Compared to my previous lip balm, the hydration lasts so much longer. The first and second photos show before and after using the product, but since I took them right after application, there's not much difference visible. It takes a bit of time for dry lips to become soft... Here's what I think are the best points of this product: 1. Fragrance-free - I love that it has no scent. I sometimes get dizzy from fragranced products, so I prefer unscented ones. 2. Application - It applies really well. Great stuff! The first use after opening might not be as smooth, but from the 2nd or 3rd use, it glides on beautifully. 3. Long-lasting - The moisturizing effect lasts a long time. This was the aspect I liked the most. Apart from the slightly high price and unnecessary packaging, I have no complaints about using the product and am completely satisfied. When you first use it, it might not apply smoothly. If that happens, try keeping it in your pocket for a few minutes to warm it up - it'll glide on much better! Also, apply a generous amount to your lips before bed. This will help soften dead skin cells overnight. In the morning, reapply the lip balm and gently rub with a cotton pad to remove the flakes. Lipstick applied to exfoliated lips will look much better. The key is to apply plenty! Also, when you think you've finished the product, there's actually quite a bit left that won't come up when you twist. Don't waste it - use a toothpick or something thin to scoop it out. This way, you can use it for much longer! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 8, 2021
This product is unscented and has just the right amount of moisture. It's perfectly hydrating, making it great for daily reapplication. It's excellent to use before applying lipstick or on top of it. I also recommend it when your lips feel dry but you don't want to put on anything too heavy. There wasn't really anything disappointing about it. If you apply it frequently, it maintains a comfortable level of hydration without feeling burdensome. It also helps alleviate simple dryness to some extent. It's great for everyday use without any fuss. Being unscented, it only adds moisture, so it works well with other lip products too! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAtopy SkinDec 20, 2020
It's incredibly moisturizing and works well for my dry skin. When I apply a generous amount at night, it's still effective in the morning - that's how good it is! To be honest, the price seems quite steep. Other options cost around $4, and I'm not sure if this lip balm is good enough to justify the higher price and make it my go-to product.
