  I loved that it wasn't too oily! The gentle ingredients were the best part. I never order products if even one ingredient concerns me, as I have super sensitive skin. My combination skin leans slightly dry, so I focus on evening skincare and maintain oil-moisture balance with minimal products. It feels like a lightweight serum that leaves a beautiful glow when applied. I was lucky to try it as part of The Hwahae Testers, but I plan to purchase it when I run out. Highly recommended for those with very dry skin in winter. I don't use it for morning makeup, but on extra dry days, I mix it with foundation. Usually, I apply a drop to my forehead and each cheek as the final skincare step, spread it all over, then pat it in with warm hands before bed. It doesn't just sit on top like some oils - it absorbs well while still leaving a nourishing feel, without being too heavy. While I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin, it's perfect for dry and combination skin types. Be sure to use it as your last skincare step, and try mixing it with makeup for a non-cakey dewy finish!

  It might feel a bit like a coating? If you dislike that sensation, you may find it slightly heavy, though I personally enjoy it. The price is a bit high for the amount, but the ingredients justify it. While it's an oil serum, it's not too heavy and is easy to apply lightly. However, like all oil products, it can feel a bit rich on the skin.

  Tip

  Apply 2-3 drops after evening cleansing as the final skincare step. On dry days, mix with foundation. For reference, my evening routine is: exfoliating toner - cica serum - oil-moisture balance cream - The Scent oil. Morning routine: hydrating toner - nourishing serum - oil-moisture balance cream - sunscreen - The Scent oil mixed with foundation - powder.

  I have oily, acne-prone skin and I'm usually terrified of oil-based products, but the ingredients looked good so I gave it a try. After cleansing, my skin often feels tight, and creams can feel heavy while gels can be sticky and attract dust. I thought oils would just make my skin slippery, but when I applied the right amount, it was surprising. Instead of just feeling moisturized, I could finish my skincare routine with less product. On cold mornings, I'd apply a bit to my forehead before putting on my mask, and it prevented my skin from getting dry and irritated.

  My skin is combination dehydrated. Here's my review after using it for a week. Usually, my skincare routine involves applying toner and then moisturizer twice. This product is a heavy oil type. I skipped the toner and applied this after my moisturizer. It definitely leaves my skin feeling hydrated. The next morning when I wash my face, my skin feels firmer, which I'm quite satisfied with.

  Cons

  Right after application, there's a slight feeling of heaviness on the skin. However, once it's absorbed, it feels fine again. I think this might be more suitable for those with dry skin.

  Tip

  When applying the oil, it's best to use a small amount as the final step in your skincare routine and avoid the eye area. There's no need to apply a lot - three drops are sufficient.
