It has the advantages we expect from a cleansing milk. Gentle, except... When my skin barrier was super strong, it seemed fine. But one day, when my skin wasn't even sensitive, just slightly off, I used this after a few days without much thought. The result? My skin went haywire, reacting as if I had a severe sun allergy. I've been in recovery mode for about 5 days, focusing solely on soothing and repairing products. Every day is a new challenge, figuring out which cream or mask to use for calming. I'm constantly applying emergency soothing serums, ampoules, modeling masks (every other day), and layering calming emulsions and regenerating creams. I've invested heavily in dermatologist visits and skincare to maintain good skin, so I'm quite sensitive to changes. This product truly upset me. The worst part? I didn't realize it was the culprit at first and used it again, absolutely wrecking my skin. Even after applying emulsions, my skin rejected everything. My pores seemed to expand dramatically, and despite using ultra-hydrating and soothing products, deep dryness would return after a few hours. While I've had good experiences with other Troiareuke products like the Healing Cocktail, I can't recommend the milk cleanser. If you're curious, their better products include the Healing Cocktail, Acsen Oil-Cut Cleansing Gel, and their two BB creams. Products like their Energy Cream, sunscreen, and hydrogel ampoule left much to be desired. To those with sensitive skin: please think carefully before purchasing. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments! You can see how red my face got... The pores are too shocking to even photograph. I'm a bit of a pore perfectionist, you know. Sorry for getting so emotional about this! - 93*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 12, 2021
It's a highly moisturizing cleanser, so there's definitely no skin tightness after washing. It doesn't seem to be gentle. (This is its biggest drawback) Right after applying it to my face, the area around my mouth and eyes starts burning and turns red. It feels like a rather irritating product for me. Considering the price, there's not enough product to apply and massage on a dry face. If I try to use less, it becomes too stiff and difficult to massage in. Applying and massaging it on a slightly damp face seems to reduce the burning sensation somewhat. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 10, 2020
- The fragrance is lovely - Can be used as a mask and is gentle on the skin - Doesn't feel irritating when cleansing and has good cleansing effectiveness - There's not really anything to complain about... Perhaps the only thing is that you need to buy a sponge separately if you want to use it as a mask? Apply the cleansing milk to a sponge or cotton pad and use it as a mask - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 7, 2020
I love that I can cleanse and massage at the same time, giving me that deep cleansing feeling. It's like getting a thorough cleanse without stripping my skin of moisture. I'd recommend this for those with dry skin, though it might not be the best choice for oily skin types. I prefer the oil-cut cleanser from the same company. It's so good that it makes this one pale in comparison. If you're looking for that squeaky-clean feeling after washing, I wouldn't recommend this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 6, 2019
At first, there's a slight tingling sensation, which they say is the product delivering hydration. I haven't been using it for long, so I'm not entirely sure yet, but I'll keep using it to see how it goes! After use, when I wipe it off with a sponge, I feel a stinging sensation. I'm not sure if it's because of the sponge or the product itself. - ne********Combination SkinAcne SkinAug 3, 2019
There's hardly any deep dryness after cleansing, and it removes makeup effectively. Despite being an emulsion, it leaves a clean feeling even with just water cleansing. After applying to the face, there's a slight burning sensation and tingling feeling. It doesn't seem to remove sebum completely. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedApr 28, 2019
I love that there's no deep dryness after washing my face. Even with just a single cleanse, it removes makeup thoroughly. Sometimes it feels a bit too slippery while washing..!! - th*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 1, 2019
My face always felt dry after cleansing, but this product acts as a cleanser and mask in one, so my skin no longer feels parched. It removes makeup effectively and is so convenient to use. I'm really loving it! The only downside is that it's a bit pricey for the amount you get. Everything else about it is great though! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 4, 2018
It feels gentle and doesn't strip away too much moisture. Surprisingly, its cleansing effectiveness is quite good. I can't get used to it. No matter how much I rinse, it feels slippery. It's not suitable for my combination dehydrated skin. This seems to be more suitable for those with dry skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 16, 2018
This is my second bottle of this cleansing milk. As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm particularly cautious about cleansing products, but this one seems to minimize irritation during cleansing. After use, my skin doesn't feel tight and remains hydrated. When my skin is particularly sensitive, damaged, or dry, I feel a slight tingling sensation upon application. To minimize rubbing during cleansing, I spread it over my face and brush my teeth. Afterwards, I wipe with a sponge and rinse thoroughly. This method seems to cause almost no skin irritation.
