Pros
I don't think there's anyone like her. My scalp was dry, so I tried all kinds of shampoos that were supposedly good for the scalp (starting with baobab shampoo), but they were all pretty disappointing. These so-called organic shampoos may sound nice, but after using them for a while, their cleansing power decreases, and my scalp gets really oily. I was even told at the salon that my scalp wasn't getting properly cleansed because of the low cleansing power of these organic shampoos. After being criticized for suddenly having an oily scalp after using an organic shampoo at the salon, I switched to the shampoo recommended to me. Its cleansing power is amazing, and my hair doesn't fall out at all.
Cons
The scent is a real entry barrier - it's incredibly strong tea tree. And it turns out to be quite drying. Even when rinsed with hot water, it's still quite strong. Lastly, if you don't use a conditioner, it can feel a bit stiff, but I didn't really see that as a major problem.
Tip
Use it with warm water! If you rinse it with cold water, it will feel really tingly and strong.

It's so good ㅠㅠ About 5 years ago, I was suffering from severe seborrheic dermatitis, with pus-filled lesions on my scalp. I started using this product as a gift from my close friend who is a hairstylist. I always make sure to bring it back with me when I travel to the US, and even gave it as a gift to a friend who was dealing with stress-induced alopecia areata, and she said it was effective. My seborrheic dermatitis has completely cleared up, and I've been using it about 2 times a week up until now!!!!

I just looked up Hwahae and was shocked by the caution ingredients. It can really irritate the eyes, though it takes some getting used to at first. The price is quite expensive in Korea ㅠㅠ
Tip
I first do a pre-wash with a different shampoo, then massage it into the scalp after rinsing. I let it sit for a while and then massage the scalp again before rinsing it out. Using a treatment is essential!

Pros
My scalp is oily, but it feels refreshing. My hair definitely falls out less, and most importantly, it feels invigorated, so when I wash it in the morning, I feel fully awake.
Cons
When it touches my facial skin, there is a sense of irritation, and my hair ends up feeling not just refreshed, but dry. Those with dry skin should consider this.
