  Even without washing my face immediately after use, my skin didn't feel overly dry. Despite having sensitive skin, I didn't experience any tingling or irritation when using this product.

  As someone with an outdoor job, I apply sunscreen heavily. Previously, my cleansing water didn't remove sunscreen well, so I bought this one after reading reviews on Hwahae. It removes makeup effectively even when used with a foam dispenser. I have sensitive skin that often stings with cleansing waters, but this one doesn't irritate even when I use it with a cotton pad. It's a great value when on sale at Hwahae, offering both effective cleansing and a good price.

  While I love how well it cleanses, especially when used with a foam dispenser, it can sting quite badly if it accidentally gets into your eyes.

  Pros

  Completely water-based, fragrance-free formula It removes makeup effectively without irritation, and best of all, it doesn't sting my eyes. Perfect for use in hot weather as it doesn't feel slippery or sticky. My skin tends to be quite dry, but this keeps it hydrated longer than other cleansing waters I've tried from different brands. I've finally found my go-to cleansing water!

  I'm so satisfied with this product that I can't think of any downsides...

  Tip

  This might not be a pro tip, but since I only wear light makeup (usually just cushion foundation and eyebrow product), I can remove all my makeup using about three cotton pads. Hope this helps as a reference...

  I loved that there was no tightness after removing my makeup. Even when cleansing around the eyes, there was no stinging or irritation.

  I'm not too familiar with mascaras since I don't use them, but I can say the eyeliner cleansing effectiveness is excellent! It also removes foundation cleanly and efficiently. What I appreciate most is that unlike previous cleansing waters or oils I've used, which would sting terribly if they got in my eyes when I tried to gently remove makeup with a cotton swab, this product seems gentler and doesn't cause any tingling sensation. That's probably what I liked best about it. As someone who wears contact lenses and used to immediately reach for eye drops at the slightest irritation, this is a big plus. If I had to choose the product's best feature, it would definitely be how gentle it is on the skin!

  Cons

  The price point seems to be the main drawback. I'm not sure if it's because of the hyaluronic acid, but at nearly $30-$40 for the given amount, it's quite steep for teenagers to buy without a discount. That said, considering how gentle the product is, the price might actually be reasonable...

  Tip

  When touching up my makeup, I used to rely on toner because other products stung my eyes too much. But with this product, I can now touch up my makeup without any burning sensation even if it gets in my eyes! I highly recommend it. It's really great!

  1. Scent I couldn't detect any fragrance, which is a huge plus for someone like me who dislikes artificial scents. 2. Sensation I was surprised when some of the cleansing water accidentally got into my eyes while removing makeup. It didn't sting at all! I only felt a slight sensation similar to when water gets in your eyes while washing your face. 3. Cleansing effectiveness It removed my usual sunscreen and light makeup quite well. I typically only wear sunscreen, and it handled that effortlessly. 4. Packaging I appreciated the environmentally-friendly packaging that can be easily peeled off for recycling.

  1. Cleansing power As mentioned earlier, it works well for light makeup and sunscreen, but it struggles with eye makeup. Especially with mascara, it left dark smudges under my eyes. I'd recommend using a separate lip and eye makeup remover alongside this. 2. Skin irritation This seems unavoidable due to the use of cotton pads. While I usually prefer cleansing milk, it's worth noting that any irritation isn't from the product itself, so you can use it keeping this in mind.

  Tip

  Instead of immediately wiping off your makeup, try saturating a cotton pad with the cleansing water and leaving it on your skin like a mini mask. After a short while, gently wipe it away. This method helps avoid rubbing too hard on your skin.

  First off, I have extremely sensitive eyes. I constantly deal with dry eye syndrome, and after LASEK surgery, I absolutely hate any eye irritation. But this product doesn't sting my eyes at all, which I'm thrilled about! I usually wear minimal makeup, maybe just lip balm or BB cream. Even on days when I don't wear makeup, I'm particular about cleansing. Using this cleansing water followed by a rinse with lukewarm water leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean without any residue. The label is designed to be easily removed after use, which is perfect for our environmentally conscious times.

  Cons

  When I saturate a cotton pad and use it, it feels a bit slippery and forms something like foam. This is slightly disappointing.

  Tip

  On makeup-free days, I found it great that a light cleanse with this followed by a lukewarm water rinse was sufficient for removing impurities!

  I was thrilled to receive this product as part of The Hwahae Testers! It even won first place in the Hwahae Awards! Let me share my experience. I used it right away and it was incredibly gentle! I used to use Dokdo Cleansing Water, but even that stung a bit as my skin is somewhat sensitive. This product, however, didn't sting at all! Even when using it close to my eyes or removing eye makeup, it was so mild that there was no discomfort. Usually, gentle products from other brands compromise on cleansing effectiveness, which was disappointing. But this one surprised me by being both gentle and effective at cleansing. In the photo, from left to right, I tested it on eyeshadow, blush, concealer, glitter, eyeliner, mascara, and tint. Except for mascara and eyeliner, everything else came off with just a quick swipe! On lazy days, I've only used this for makeup removal followed by a water rinse, and I didn't experience any blemishes! And it's incredibly hydrating! With other cleansing waters, my skin would feel tight and cracked after removing makeup, forcing me to use a mist. But with this one, I was amazed at how moisturized my skin felt afterwards. It's truly, deeply hydrating. Pros: - Gentle - Effective cleansing - Hydrating

  While everything else was great, I found it a bit challenging to remove mascara and eyeliner. The redness on my arm in the photo is from trying to remove the mascara, which required quite a bit of effort. If you wear heavy eye makeup, I recommend using a separate eye makeup remover!
