The scent is called Blanche, and since I'm currently using Blanche, I can say it's similar but the shampoo scent is a bit more pungent. To get straight to the point, I'll probably try a different product once this one is finished. I'm prone to itching and blemishes if I use the wrong shampoo. This wasn't an issue in my early twenties, but as I approached my late twenties, my scalp became more sensitive and prone to blemishes. The same goes for my face, unfortunately. When I first used this shampoo, my hair felt surprisingly soft for just using shampoo, and the scent was quite strong. It lathers well too. However, the fragrance fades by the time my hair is dry, and after an hour or two, I start to notice an unpleasant scalp odor. While the pH-balanced formula felt good initially, the odor issue persists even when I wash my hair again in the evening with this product. On the bright side, there's no itching. The positives are: good lather, no itching, and my hair doesn't feel dry. Despite these benefits, I think I'll have to switch to a LUSH shampoo bar to combat the scalp odor, even if it leaves my hair feeling a bit drier.
ConsWhile there's no itching, I do get some blemishes on my scalp. My hair also gets oily quickly. They say it's good for preventing hair loss, but I'm not sure how exactly it helps.

I've finally been selected as a Hwahae Tester and get to review this product. I'm grateful to the Hwahae team for this opportunity. Scent: I've tried many shampoos, but this fragrance is unique and refreshing. Initially, it has a unisex perfume-like scent. At first, it felt very fresh, but with continued use, it started to smell a bit floral. Typically, commercial shampoos have rich or sweet scents (though I'm not sure about recent trends as I've been using unscented shampoos for a while). This fragrance breaks the stereotype of typical shampoo scents. Texture: It's completely transparent, almost like aloe gel. It gives off a very clean vibe. Gentleness: I have super sensitive skin, including my scalp. This feels gentle without any irritation. Lather: Despite its clean, transparent appearance that might suggest otherwise, it lathers surprisingly well. Packaging: The pump-style bottle is the most convenient and nice. Plus, the container looks pretty. 💥========Update after finishing the bottle========💥 The flaking I experienced was only temporary, possibly due to changing shampoos. By the time I finished the bottle, the itching and flaking had disappeared! I'm even more satisfied after using the entire bottle. I'm actually sad it's already gone! Love it, love it!
ConsI mentioned the unique fragrance, and it turns out the only cautionary ingredient is the fragrance. Personally, I could do without it, but I'm sure some people will like it! There's just one slight drawback: Despite being incredibly gentle, my scalp feels itchy after washing. It's not all over, but especially in sensitive areas. I have blemishes on my scalp, and these areas get itchy. When I scratch, dead skin cells fall off like dandruff. It's stressful when these flakes get on my clothes. I can't resist the urge to scratch either. The natural shampoo I used before didn't cause this issue. Everything else is great, but the itchiness is disappointing enough to dock one star.
TipPro tip? I just use multiple pumps each time! I lather, massage, and repeat this process a few times.

I have to wash my hair daily due to severe itching if I skip even one day. My hair texture before use: - Naturally very silky, straight hair type. I think I've found my holy grail shampoo!! 1. Dandruff disappeared - I'm truly amazed that the dandruff is gone. I had resigned myself to living with dandruff despite washing daily and trying different shampoos. But after using this for just a few days, the dandruff noticeably decreased. I'll definitely repurchase. 2. Fragrance - The musk scent is unique yet familiar. It's like they've added perfume to the shampoo. The scent lingers subtly all day after washing. 3. Cleansing effectiveness - The cleansing power is excellent, evident from how quickly it reduced dandruff. It lathers well, feels gentle during washing, and leaves no residue. My scalp feels refreshed. 4. Effect on hair texture - Unlike most shampoos that can leave hair stiff, this one doesn't. It's gentler on my color-damaged ends, leaving my hair soft from root to tip. 5. Ingredients - For those interested, this shampoo has impressively good ingredients compared to many others that are full of allergens and harsh chemicals. It's effective yet gentle. 6. Affordable price - At 7,900 won, it's accessible to everyone. Given how satisfying it is, I'd recommend it to anyone at this price. 7. Transparent bottle - The clear container lets you see how much shampoo is left, which is great compared to opaque bottles where it's hard to tell.
Cons1. Seems like less product? The shorter bottle makes it appear like there's less shampoo, but it should still last a few months. ------------------------------ One-month usage review update: The fragrance is still great. However, some things have changed: 1. Itchiness developed My scalp has become very itchy, making me scratch. I try to avoid washing, thinking it might be dryness, but end up having to wash again before a day passes due to the itching. 2. Dandruff worsened Previously it was like light snow, now it's more like a blizzard. The flakes have gotten larger. My scalp seems very dry. Could the strong cleansing power be washing away even the protective elements of the scalp? Unfortunately, this shampoo doesn't suit me. The scent is still lovely though.
TipAs it's a fragrance-themed shampoo, it's best used on its own. I've included before and after photos of my black clothes showing dandruff (before use) and after use. Don't worry about my hair being tied up in the 'after' photo - I tied it after letting it down, so the difference is real. I'll definitely trust and buy Dr. Bangwon shampoo in the future!

But that's a good thing! Compared to other shampoos, it feels more moisturizing! You can definitely feel the hair absorbing the hydration. And it lathers up really well! It produces more foam than other shampoos I've tried. The volume is more than I expected, so it would be great to take on trips!
ConsFirstly, the scent disappears very quickly. After drying my hair, there's just a hint left. What's more, even though my treatment isn't particularly strong-smelling, once I use it, the shampoo's scent is completely gone. The ads seem to emphasize how good the fragrance is, but it just vanishes. Secondly, the scent isn't particularly luxurious. It's familiar from somewhere, but I can't place it - it just smells like regular shampoo. Thirdly, and this might just be me, but my scalp felt itchy. I thought maybe I hadn't rinsed well enough, so I was extra careful the next time, but it still felt somewhat itchy. This could be due to my atopic skin though.

It's like a decorative piece that looks beautiful anywhere you place it. The shampoo itself looks like a clear gel. - It leaves hair feeling as soft as if I'd used conditioner, which is perfect for lazy me who hates using separate conditioner. The rinsing experience was truly delightful. - As someone with atopic dermatitis, my previous shampoo would make my hands itchy, but this one doesn't cause that issue at all. - Despite its generous volume, the bottle is compact, making it easy to store anywhere.
Cons- The scent isn't terrible, but it's not great either. It's just not my style... smells a bit like air freshener. Plus, the fragrance doesn't last long. - It's not a major issue, but I was a bit surprised when I first received it - the product came wrapped in plastic without any instructions or packaging. + - After a few months of use, my scalp started feeling itchy and my hair seemed to get greasy more quickly. My family members who also used it complained about itchiness too. Once we switched shampoos, the itching went away.
