I have a dry scalp and seborrheic dermatitis. If I use the wrong shampoo, my scalp goes haywire! Cleansing effectiveness: My hair is shoulder-length, and I use about two pumps. At first, it doesn't lather as much as I expected (could be due to my hair type), but after the first wash, the second application produces a good lather. It rinses out well. Packaging and fragrance: It comes in a pump bottle. The scent is really lovely - one of my favorites, but it fades quickly. Results: It doesn't necessarily improve my scalp condition or remove dead skin cells. After a day, some oil starts to build up. Overall impression: Strangely, I feel like I lose a bit more hair when I use this shampoo. The fragrance is nice, but it tends to make hair oily, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily hair. When I use only this shampoo, I noticed more hair fall than on other days. I experimented with different shampoos, and it seems this one is the culprit. I'm not sure why, though. Even with my dry skin, it gets oily after 1-2 days. Those with oily skin might find it greasy by evening. Recommended for dry skin types. - ks*****Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 31, 2021
- What's the scent like? The first impression of Parfum Musk Shampoo's fragrance is reminiscent of 'the memory of soft, cozy blankets dried in the sun on a rooftop'. In my view, most shampoos typically have floral, fruity, or herbal scents. As a first-time user of a musk-scented shampoo, I found it to be a very unique fragrance. Considering the price point, which I'll discuss later, I believe this could greatly contribute to diversifying the perfume shampoo market. - How long does the scent last? The fragrance lasts just over a day. Comparing it to a few others I've tried, I'd rank the longevity as Tsubaki <= Parfum Musk < Beyond Defense Shampoo. However, the scent concentration is much lighter than typical perfume shampoos, so I found myself using a bit more than usual to get that perfume shampoo feel. - Since it's a hair loss prevention brand... Surprisingly, from the third day of use, I noticed a significant reduction in hair fall during washing. In my case, it decreased by about 15-20%, and the reduction seemed to increase slightly with each use. I estimate it could reach up to 30% once fully adapted to the product. (I had only seen Dr. Bangwon brand in internet ads before, but after trying it for the first time, my trust and liking for the brand skyrocketed in this aspect. While the perfume is nice, the ultimate goal of protecting one's hair is something everyone can relate to...) - The price, is it really okay as is? At first, I thought the price listed in the product information was a typo. If it's 7,900 won even in offline stores, compared to products selling for 4,000-6,000 won at 50% off in large marts or Olive Young, I think it offers considerable value for consumers to consider at the shelf (thanks to its aforementioned features). The likely comparison would be with Ryo (呂), and if they focus on differentiating from Ryo in the future, I expect it could be a strong point in offline price competitiveness. Overall: - Pros: Unique fragrance, improved hair texture, sense of hair loss prevention, price - Unclear if feature or con: Lather (possibly due to mild ingredient composition) Fragrance longevity (might be a factor influencing consumer price?) - Observations while shampooing I increased the amount of shampoo not only because I wanted a stronger scent, as mentioned earlier, but also because it lathers slightly less than regular shampoo for an average 30-year-old man with normal dry scalp. Additionally, the lather dissipates more quickly, which is another characteristic of this shampoo. Unexpectedly, a noticeably smoother hair texture was also a prominent feature. - wl******Normal SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsMar 12, 2021
The fragrance of this perfume shampoo really lasts long after washing! It has a clean, cotton musk scent that reminds me of fresh laundry drying on a sunny day. The cleansing effectiveness is average, and the lather is about standard. The bottle looks particularly small, giving the impression that there might be less product than expected. - ap*************Combination SkinSensitive SkinJan 26, 2021
The white musk scent is quite pleasant. It has a strong, intense fragrance. The shampoo lathers well and feels nice to use. Even after drying my hair, it feels less dry and brittle. Since it's likely designed for dry scalps, I definitely notice my hair starting to smell by evening, so it might be more suitable for those with dry scalps. This product seems better suited for those with dry scalps rather than oily ones. - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedJan 9, 2021
After switching from other products to this one, I found it great - no blemishes, no scent, just perfect. I can't really think of anything bad about it. The price is affordable too. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 12, 2020
I can't really think of anything particularly good about it... Maybe the scent was somewhat okay? After using this, I got terrible blemishes behind my ears. No matter how thoroughly I cleansed, they kept appearing. Also, the amount is oddly small and runs out quickly... - lo********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSep 10, 2020
The fragrance is subtle yet long-lasting. Though the volume seems small, it's surprisingly generous. When rinsing after shampooing, I noticed my hair felt softer. I think this would be great for those with dry hair. While it's nice that it makes hair softer, for those with oily hair... it gets greasy quickly. With this, my hair only lasts a day when it usually goes two days between washes. Highly recommended for those with dry hair! You might not even need a separate conditioner. - rd*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 3, 2020
I bought this product after trying a different scent, having used up the one I received as a Hwahae Tester! The scent is called Blanche, and since I'm currently using Blanche, I can say it's similar but the shampoo scent is a bit more pungent. To get straight to the point, I'll probably try a different product once this one is finished. I'm prone to itching and blemishes if I use the wrong shampoo. This wasn't an issue in my early twenties, but as I approached my late twenties, my scalp became more sensitive and prone to blemishes. The same goes for my face, unfortunately. When I first used this shampoo, my hair felt surprisingly soft for just using shampoo, and the scent was quite strong. It lathers well too. However, the fragrance fades by the time my hair is dry, and after an hour or two, I start to notice an unpleasant scalp odor. While the pH-balanced formula felt good initially, the odor issue persists even when I wash my hair again in the evening with this product. On the bright side, there's no itching. The positives are: good lather, no itching, and my hair doesn't feel dry. Despite these benefits, I think I'll have to switch to a LUSH shampoo bar to combat the scalp odor, even if it leaves my hair feeling a bit drier. While there's no itching, I do get some blemishes on my scalp. My hair also gets oily quickly. They say it's good for preventing hair loss, but I'm not sure how exactly it helps. - zz*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 14, 2020
I've been using Dr. Bangwon's pink shampoo and tried this new one. First off, the fragrance is absolutely divine - it's identical to the **Bl*sh scent. However, I don't use it daily. After a month of consistent use, my hair feels incredibly soft, smooth, and hydrated. It's like my hair is drinking up moisture! My hair texture has improved significantly. As I have straight hair, I dislike when it sticks to my scalp, so I alternate this with other shampoos. One thing to note - if I skip washing for just one day, my hair gets a bit greasy. This might be because I have extremely damaged hair with extensions. The scent lasts for ages - people around me sometimes can't help but sniff my hair! Although it's called 'musk', it's not the typical musk scent you might expect. It's more of a floral soap fragrance, similar to By*edo Bl*sh. I wish they'd offer a larger size. The 500ml bottle runs out too quickly, especially since I shampoo twice each wash. Since this comes in four fragrances, I like to mix them up for variety. I always include the pear scent when mixing - it enhances the lingering fragrance. Remember to always shampoo twice - it really helps clean out your scalp pores and anything clinging to your hair strands. - qh*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 3, 2020
I received this product as a gift and have been using it. After use, my hair feels so soft that I don't need a separate treatment. I use it when showering after workouts. It lathers well too. The scent is refreshingly cool? It's a pleasant fragrance that I think most people would like. I also appreciate that it's gentle with good ingredients (except for the fragrance) and has a slightly acidic pH. It might be a bit disappointing for those with oily scalps. As someone with an oily scalp, when I used it in the morning, my hair felt a bit greasy by evening. Since it's a perfume shampoo, I deducted one star because it might not suit those who are overly sensitive to fragrances. The scent really lasts a long time. When you use this, you don't even need to wear perfume!
