It provides just the right amount of deep hydration, making it ideal for seasonal changes or dry weather. Aromatica's products, with their natural ingredients, are trustworthy and don't cause any blemishes, which is reassuring.
ConsThere aren't many downsides, but it's worth noting that for an oil, it's relatively thin in consistency. It tends to run more than expected, so you need to apply it quickly.
TipAs someone with oily skin, I never thought I could use oil to lock in moisture. But this product makes it possible. I'm very satisfied with the results.

It's as hydrating as water, but in oil form.
ConsThe low viscosity makes it a bit tricky to apply, as it tends to run down your face after application.

The price is reasonable, so you can use it without worry.
ConsWhile it doesn't have dramatic effects, the texture is quite runny, so you need to apply it quickly.

Texture: ●●●●● (Not oily) Absorption: ●●●●● (Glides on smoothly) Effectiveness: ●●●●○ (Works well for chin blemishes) Scent: ●○○○○ (Not artificially fragranced) Unlike other tea tree oils, this feels more like an essence than an oil. That's why it's great for using both day and night without feeling heavy!
ConsIt tends to run quite a bit, so if you don't control the amount well, it feels like you're applying essence all over your face...
TipMake sure to use a cotton swab if possible! It makes it much more convenient when applying to specific areas.

If you feel your skin is dry or lacks oil in its oil-moisture balance, this review will likely be helpful for you. -------------------------------------- Positives Quick summary: A lightweight oil suitable for dehydrated oily skin. Despite being an oil, it absorbs quickly and doesn't sit on top of the skin. It doesn't leave the typical shiny oil finish, but rather a smooth one. It spreads and absorbs into the skin rapidly. -------------------------------------- I have very high expectations for oils. I enjoy using and blending oils in both my skincare and makeup routines. I'm particularly careful when choosing oils to blend with makeup. There's a risk of ending up with an overly shiny finish or a floating appearance where the face looks detached. The Green Oil absorbs quickly without sitting on the surface, leaving just the right amount of richness and glow, making it suitable for mixing with makeup products.
ConsDrawbacks Quick summary: Be cautious if you're sensitive to natural oils. In the beginning, I actually experienced some blemishes. I'm not sure of the exact reason, but I suspect it was either due to an excess of nutrients or an adjustment period to a new product. After about a week of use, I stopped getting any new blemishes. If you have skin that's sensitive to natural oils or oils in general, make sure to do a patch test. -------------------------------------- The texture is quite runny, so rather than dispensing it onto the back of your hand or a palette, it's easier to apply directly to your face using the dropper. When mixing with creams or foundations, add it at the very end and blend quickly. -------------------------------------- Personally, I'm not sensitive to fragrances and it's not a crucial factor for me when choosing cosmetics. However, if you are sensitive to scents, make sure to smell the Green Oil before purchasing. It has a distinct natural oil scent including tea tree, which might be overwhelming for those with sensitivities.
TipPro tips Aromatica Green Oil is better suited for 'oily skin' or 'combination skin' that needs oil, rather than extremely dry skin. If you're looking for a product with a fast-absorbing and user-friendly formula rather than a heavy, burdensome oil, definitely give this a try. The runny texture makes it convenient to apply directly to the face using the dropper. Try using it as the first step in your skincare routine after cleansing, before toner. It smooths and refines the skin beautifully. Of course, it also works well blended with creams or foundations!
